I ordered the veg Chinese combo from SOY STORIES near Hinjewadi, Pune with an ETA of 3:28 for Order #3AAC5. I was waiting for the delivery, but by 3:30, I hadn't received any calls. The delivery person messaged me mentioning attempts to call were unsuccessful as I was supposedly unreachable. Trying to contact him via the app was also futile as he either didn't pick up or hung up immediately. Despite continuous pings, I got no response. Tracking the order showed he was waiting elsewhere, not at my place. After many attempts, he finally answered, claiming his phone was off and he was now 30 minutes away. This experience was frustrating, and any assistance would be appreciated.

I recently had a delivery order that has left me feeling disappointed. I reside in a gated community, and despite my attempts to communicate with the delivery person about any issues at the gate, they did not provide clear updates. The lack of communication resulted in a delayed delivery time of over 13 minutes, even though the gate is just a minute away from my home. By the time the food arrived, it was over 20 minutes late and not in the best condition. I have screenshots of the conversation and was hoping to understand what caused the delay and why proper communication was not maintained during the process.

I attempted to change my delivery address but was unable to do so. Despite this, I was still charged for my order. As a loyal customer who carefully budgets each meal, this has caused a significant issue for me. Unfortunately, the call center did not provide me with a refund, leaving me unable to afford to feed my child. I urgently need the $15.30 refunded so that I can place a new order. If this matter is not resolved, I will have no choice but to discontinue using Uber. Being a single mother, every dollar I earn is crucial, especially when it comes to providing for my 3-year-old son.

I have been in the hospital for 6 months now and recently got transferred to one that's far from home. With no one to bring food, I ordered from GrubHub. Despite clear instructions, my order was cancelled without notice of a delivery attempt. I never received a call and staff confirmed no delivery. Not receiving a refund for the $38 order is unfair, especially given my circumstances. The customer service representative I spoke with was unhelpful and rude, which added to my frustration. I hope this situation can be resolved promptly.

I placed an order on Uber Eats and accidentally confirmed it with the wrong address. I immediately called Uber Eats within 10 seconds to change the delivery location but was informed it was not possible. The customer service representative's solution was to watch the app and try to intercept the driver. I found this unsatisfactory and requested the order be cancelled. The representative mentioned I would still be charged, even though it was only 30 seconds after confirmation. After the call, I noticed the booking fee had increased from $6.99 to nearly $16. This sudden change is unacceptable. I am requesting a refund of the $15.99 discrepancy and recommend training for customer service representatives on how to handle address changes easily through the app. Thank you.

We placed an order on Uber Eats from Jersey Mike's. Unfortunately, our food never arrived, even after a two-hour wait. The manager of Jersey Mike's informed us that the Uber Eats delivery person had been at the restaurant for 45 minutes but wouldn't take the order. He claimed he didn't know the way to our house and didn't want to come. Despite offering to provide directions, he still refused. By 9:15, we were instructed to resolve the issue with Uber Eats. When we called, we spoke to a representative named James who agreed to cancel the order. However, he wasn't sure if my card would still be charged. If it was, we were advised to call back for a refund. This experience was unacceptable. It was our first time trying Uber Eats, and most likely the last. Now, we're left hungry and contemplating which restaurants are still open. It seems like it will be a night for cereal.

I had a disappointing experience with my Indian food delivery. Despite specifying a mild preference due to my intolerance to spice, the food was greasy, overcooked, and spicy. I immediately lodged a complaint and was assured it would be addressed by their customer service team. However, I later received an email denying a refund and apologizing for the inconvenience. Additionally, the delivery app changed my location to an old address, causing me to mistakenly order to the wrong place. Although I canceled the order promptly, I was still charged. In total, I spent almost £60 on inedible food and a mix-up in delivery locations. I am extremely upset with how this situation has been handled and need a resolution.

I have ordered burgers from Jack and Lerry before and enjoyed them, so I reordered today for my friends and me. However, when the order arrived, the wedges were missing. Despite that, we decided to eat before complaining. When we opened the burgers, 2 out of 3 had burnt patties. There were no tomatoes or lettuce as there had been previously; it was just a dry piece of bread and burnt patty. I have photos to send for proof, but I couldn't find an option to attach them. I am really disappointed with the quality this time. I am hoping for a refund for this disappointing meal. If Jack and Lerry want to continue selling through UberEats, they need to ensure their quality control is improved, or else they will lose customers. The only positive note was the grilled burger and soft drink combo, but even that lacked tomatoes and lettuce despite being tasty.

I have previously ordered from Jack and Lerry and enjoyed their burgers. However, today's order was disappointing. I ordered McDonald’s last night, but my delivery took over two hours. I attempted to cancel, but the support number was invalid. The courier arrived on a bike, despite the cold weather and my distant location from the restaurant. He got lost, I tried calling and messaging him, but he did not respond. Eventually, he messaged me saying the order would be canceled unless I replied. Even after multiple attempts to reach out, he claimed to be outside while I was there too, but I never saw him. I ended up getting food from another service as we waited for so long. This experience was very frustrating as I value the convenience of using Uber Eats and had to deal with this poor service.

Hello, I am Deepak Yadav. I placed an order for mini biryani and when I contacted the Uber Eats customer support executive to inquire about the status of my order, I was informed that the biryani was no longer available. The interaction with the executive was quite unpleasant, as there was no proper greeting and the executive seemed unaware of how to handle the situation respectfully. Despite expressing my hunger and the desire for the order to be delivered or compensated for the cancellation, the executive remained unhelpful and unprofessional throughout the conversation. The use of vulgar language and hanging up on me added to the frustration. I am now seeking to escalate the matter to the higher authorities for a formal apology and assurance that such behavior will not be repeated in the future. The lack of manners and disrespect towards customers is unacceptable.

Hello, my name is Francine M., and I encountered a frustrating situation with an order I placed from a ramen restaurant during my work break. I am writing to address the issue with order #D24D1. I placed an order for the beyond meat combo and specifically excluded pickles and tomatoes among the 8 available toppings. Unfortunately, my order arrived with only those two toppings included. Furthermore, the Diet Coke I ordered was diluted to the point of being flat and tasteless. When I contacted customer service through the app, I received only automated responses declining my refund request or providing me with the necessary contact information for a refund. I am perplexed as to why I am being denied a refund for an order that did not meet my expectations and was a poor use of my money. I am requesting a refund for this order as it did not reflect what I paid for.

I received an email stating I did not complete a recent delivery trip. It reminded me to mark a trip as “Delivered” only if I reached the customer’s location. If ending a trip early, I should cancel the delivery with the appropriate reason to maintain system functionality and prevent negative experiences. The email included a link for additional delivery tips. Although I completed all my delivery requests, there was one exception due to a difficult pick up location at a bridal shop where I responded that I couldn't find the address. Over the weekend, my sister-in-law placed an order with UberEATS. However, the delivery person had difficulty understanding her and ended up canceling the order even though she was still charged. Despite requesting a refund, customer support refused, citing a "miscommunication." I am reaching out on her behalf since the order was for me while I was babysitting my nephew. Understandably, my sister-in-law is considering closing her account due to this unsatisfactory experience. There was no offer of compensation or free meal for the inconvenience caused. I am writing about the recent experience I had at McDonalds on Keele and Finch. The order number was 7B728 under the name Stefan M. I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes for the order. Just as I received the food, the customer canceled. I contacted Uber support, they spoke to the customer who then agreed to wait. Despite the cancellation, I did not receive payment. After calling and waiting on hold for 10 to 15 minutes, I was informed that I would only receive 3 dollars for my wait. The initial order payment was guaranteed at 9 dollars. I believe that 3 dollars is inadequate compensation for waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes. I am seeking a more appropriate reimbursement for my time, rather than just 3 dollars. This is my third attempt at contacting Uber regarding order #4D986. I placed an order for McDonald's last night, and it never arrived. The delivery driver had a low rating of 86% and was circling near my location without delivering the food. I tried to communicate with the driver, but they did not respond. The order status changed to "delivered" over an hour after I ordered, even though the driver never showed up. I spoke to Uber's contact center who informed me the food was on its way, but I requested a refund due to the delay. Despite logging complaints and details, the customer service team has not refunded my money. I am disappointed with the poor quality of customer service and expect a full refund of $29.00. I ordered masala pavbhaji on Saturday, February 16, [redacted], from Agrawala Sweets in Himayatnagar. The delivery was made by Deepak Singh. The total amount was Rs [redacted]. I gave a Rs [redacted] note, but he didn't have change, so I paid exact amount. I then received an email saying I hadn't paid. Now, when I try to book a cab, it shows a due amount. Frustrating. I tried customer support; no valid numbers. Poor service, hiring unprofessional staff. Very dissatisfied with Uber Eats. I expect Uber to address this promptly and refund my money right away.
