I encountered an issue with my order today. The mobile number associated with the order is [redacted] and the email is [redacted] While checking my order late in the evening, I accidentally pressed the order button without applying a promo code. The items cost me Rs. [redacted] instead of Rs. [redacted]. I promptly contacted customer service, but they were not polite. When I requested to cancel the order, they did so without informing me about the [redacted]% cancellation charges. I ended up paying double because I forgot to apply the 50% promo and was charged the full cancellation fee. This is a frustrating experience with Uber Eats. After contacting customer service again, I received the same response.

I recently signed up for Uber Eats and encountered an issue with applying a promo code while placing an order. The code did not work, and the checkout process proceeded to payment without my consent. I recently noticed that the hotel "Dee Kozhikode" located in Kazhakuttam-kulathoor Road, Kazhakoottam, Trivandrum, Kerala, India, has partnered with Uber Eats. However, I have concerns as this hotel seems to be operating without the necessary licenses from the local authorities for food safety. I believe Uber should investigate this matter and ensure that the hotel complies with all regulations before continuing their partnership. I have official documents proving that the hotel lacks the required licenses to operate in Kerala. I ordered food for a late-night meal after work. Despite waiting over an hour, the delivery driver did not make an effort to bring my order to my door as stated in the app. Feeling uncomfortable going outside late at night, I tried to communicate my location and apartment number via text to no avail. When I finally spotted the driver sitting in his car, he ignored my attempts to flag him down and left without delivering my food. Customer service claimed he had "tried" to deliver, but his lack of action says otherwise. To make matters worse, I was informed I wouldn't get a refund for the undelivered order. It's frustrating to see my loyalty go unrecognized, especially after spending so much with Uber and Uber Eats. This experience has left me hungry, out of pocket, and questioning the value of your services.

I recently made a purchase on Uber Eats, eager to satisfy my hunger. A man speaking a foreign language eventually approached without verifying my identity, displaying a lack of concern for the delivery process. This unsettling experience left me disappointed, especially after spending $30 on a meal that arrived incorrect and incomplete. As a loyal Uber Eats customer, this unprofessional behavior has shaken my confidence in the service. I hope this matter can be addressed promptly, possibly through reimbursement, to rectify this unfortunate situation. I value the convenience of Uber's services but am now hesitant to order from Uber Eats again following this distressing incident.

I placed an order for food and asked for 500rs change in the delivery note. The delivery person didn't call me, so I called him to remind him about the change. He asked me to contact customer care. When I talked to the customer care representative, she told me to find the change, but I didn't have it. I wouldn't have mentioned it if I did. She abruptly said to cancel the order, which I never asked for. She abruptly ended the call, canceled my order, and now there are cancellation fees on my account. I want the charges removed and better training for the customer care team, as I clearly specified the change, never canceled, and the call was disconnected abruptly.

I placed an order on the app but accidentally submitted it prematurely without adding everything I wanted. I promptly called the restaurant to add more items, offering to pay in cash, but they refused. When I contacted Ubereats for help, they informed me that nothing could be done. I am contacting you regarding my brother, Mr. Cyril Fernandez. The restaurant "Dee Kozhikoden" located on Kulathoor Kazhakoottam road opposite Techno Park in Trivandrum, Kerala, India, does not possess a food safety license. The building's owner, who my brother happens to be, has not authorized the restaurant to obtain the required license. The restaurant fails to comply with state regulations, and I fear for the safety of customers. I have personally visited the Uber Eats office in Kumarapuram, Trivandrum, to address this concern and suggest discontinuing business with "Dee Kozhikoden" until they obtain the necessary license. Please verify the restaurant's licensing status, as the Food Safety office has confirmed that they are not licensed. I urge you to take prompt action to prevent harm to customers. Upon realizing this, I promptly tried to cancel the order through the app, as the restaurant hadn't accepted it yet. Unfortunately, the app indicated the restaurant had accepted the order and I would be charged if I canceled. Since the restaurant is likely out of my delivery range, I decided to reach out to customer service for assistance. Despite my efforts, the customer service representative informed me that there was nothing they could do since I canceled through the app. I was advised I should have called instead of using the app to cancel. Feeling frustrated by this conflicting information, I requested to speak with a supervisor for further assistance. After being told there was no manager available, I was informed that I would not be refunded the $23 I lost due to the cancelation issue. I find this situation unfair, especially considering the quick succession of my actions and the unlikely scenario of the restaurant preparing my food within the 23-second timeframe.

My name is Kashyap Manoj Menon, and I am 17 years old. I want to share my experience with UberEats. Last year, I was eager to try the app, but I faced an issue. After placing an order, my phone locked, and the order couldn't be canceled. The driver and I tried to get help from Uber support, but there was no response. As a result, I didn't receive the food or pay for it. When I contacted customer care, Siva Lal promised to resolve the problem, but I still encountered pending fees when I tried to book a ride. I placed an order at McDonald's for 2 Steak Bagels with extra cheese, sauce, and steak, along with a Frappuccino customized with extra chocolate, caramel drizzle, and an additional espresso shot. Unfortunately, my order never arrived. According to my colleagues, the delivery person, TOMAR, was seen near the men's bathroom outside our call center with the food. He failed to ring the doorbell, as is customary with all deliveries. This behavior is unacceptable as I have specific instructions not to call my mobile due to working in a call center. Despite being a long-time Uber Eats user, this is the first time I have encountered such an issue with a delivery.

I placed an order at McDonald's for two Steak Bagels with extra cheese, sauce, and steak, plus a Frappuccino with extra chocolate, caramel drizzle, and an extra shot of espresso. Yesterday, I placed an order with the order ID # 7EE4C for Cash on Delivery. The delivery person assigned to my order was named Syed with the contact number [redacted]. Despite being at home, I received a message stating that the delivery person tried to reach me but was unsuccessful. I promptly messaged him with my alternative number and offered to meet him on the roadside, but unfortunately, he canceled the order without responding. I placed an order on UberEats last Saturday using the phone number [redacted]. Unfortunately, I only received the pasta and fries from my order, missing the three shakes I had included. I placed an order on January 7th, and when I went to collect my parcel due to the delivery boy being held by the police near Bhawarkua Police Station in Indore, the officers would not allow me to retrieve it. This incident occurred around 3:45 AM, and the next morning, the UberEats app showed my parcel as delivered. Now, when I try to place a new order, it is asking me to pay for the previous unpaid bill of [redacted]/-. I believe it is unfair to ask me to pay for a delivery that was not completed due to unforeseen circumstances involving the delivery person being detained by the police.

I made an order on Ubereats on January 5th, [redacted]. Our order number is [redacted]. We only received pasta and fries, but not the shakes we ordered. I ordered food from Uber Eats on December 5, [redacted], and used Paytm for payment. My payment was deducted from Paytm, but the order was not placed and is not showing in my past orders. I contacted Uber Eats customer care and was informed that there was a problem with the merchant and that I would receive a refund within a certain number of days. Hello. I applied to drive for UE over a month ago and submitted the necessary verification forms. While I received confirmation on the forms, my background check has not been cleared. I checked on checker.com, but I do not see my application in processing for UE. I am already cleared to drive for GrubHub and DoorDash. I am worried about why UE has not initiated my background check process.
