On Friday night we ordered from a restaurant that uses ubereats. We were charged $*.** because *.* miles is a very long distance. The food was ready on time but being intelligent our driver and his passenger missed the only turn on the entire *.* mile trip and I had to flag them down as they started to drive right past my parking lot. It took about **-** minutes to drive what should have taken a MAXIMUM of **-** maybe ** minutes. Your customer service blamed the restaurant for the cold burger and no apology was extended by the driver for the long delivery time, only an excuse. It only arrived at or a little after the ETA because the restaurant was on top of things. Please give your drivers thermal bags and base your fees on zip code not the name of the town. I live **** mile from the town the restaurant is in. I certainly wish Grub hub delivered from there. Their drivers are better and more courteous, food charges are negligible, and food is hot. Customer service tries to help you and offer a rebate or something instead of trying to tell the customer that he has no reason to be upset. With you blame goes to everyone but ubereats. How dare you treat customers this way
