Order # 2343B - S. Wehbe An issue arose between the pizza shop and the Uber driver causing my order to be canceled just as it was being picked up. I had to collect the order myself after confirming it was ready. Uber later offered a $5 credit, which does not make up for the inconvenience, extra cost, time wasted, and cold pizza due to the mix-up. I believe a full refund is necessary to rectify the situation. I placed my food order directly at 4:24 pm and canceled it just a minute later at 4:25 pm. Upon receiving the cancellation email, I promptly contacted both the restaurant and Ubereats. Despite my prompt cancellation, I was still charged for the entire order. In my attempts to resolve this issue, I spoke with Uber Eats and Cameron's Seafood. Uber Eats informed me that the food was ready for pick up, but Cameron's Seafood clarified that they had canceled the order. I spoke with Chris at Cameron's Seafood. Despite Cameron's Seafood confirming the cancellation, Uber Eats insisted that the refund could not be processed. Both parties seemed to point fingers at each other, causing unnecessary inconvenience.

I messaged the delivery driver with the gate code. Despite the gate issues, she attempted to call but I informed her we were coming to the gate. My fiance went to pick up our food; however, the driver canceled the charge without a refund just as he was on his way. She then left within minutes, leaving with our paid pizza. I request a refund for the charge and that this driver is not assigned to us again. The app shows evidence of us communicating our imminent arrival before she canceled the order prematurely. I question the logic behind such a policy for a delivery service.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding an issue I experienced with Uber Eats during my recent order from AJAE Budae Korean restaurant. After encountering a problem with my initial order (#C24F8) being cancelled after pickup, resulting in a reorder (#21D89) and a significant delay, I contacted Uber Eats customer support. Despite being promised a 50% discount for the inconvenience, the adjustment was not applied as assured. In my subsequent interactions with Uber Eats support, I encountered rudeness and unhelpful responses from a supervisor who questioned the validity of my claim without fully listening to my explanation. As a frequent user of Uber services, I am disappointed by the lack of reliable customer service provided in this instance. Hello. I made an order but realized too late that the address was incorrect. I tried to update it, but the app was malfunctioning. I read on the support page that the address could be changed through the driver after pickup. I confirmed with the vendor that this was possible. When the food was picked up, I contacted the driver to change the address, but she refused and returned the food to the restaurant. Now, I have to retrieve it myself. This situation has been very inconvenient and frustrating. I am requesting a refund.

I recently had a challenging experience while delivering for UE regarding accepting multiple orders from the same location. I misunderstood how the app works in this situation and ended up delivering the wrong order to one customer. The restaurant had combined two orders in the same bag without any indication of which was which. When I asked the young adult at the first drop-off for Raymond's order, they mistakenly said it wasn't for them, leading to the mix-up. Hello, my name is Raul Barba. On Sunday, 12/16/[redacted], I ordered food through the Uber Eats app. Everything went smoothly until I received a text message stating that my order was canceled. Confused, I contacted the restaurant. The manager explained that Uber Eats mistakenly placed my order twice and had to cancel one. I agreed that it was fair to cancel one of the duplicate orders, but the issue arose when the canceled order was already picked up by the Uber driver for delivery to my house. Unfortunately, I never received the food, and my debit card was charged $29.89 for it. I find it unfair that I am the one losing money in this situation due to Uber Eats' mistake. The restaurant got paid for the food, and the Uber driver likely enjoyed the extra meal at my expense.

I lodged a complaint on the UberEATS app, seeking a quicker response for a refund to reorder my dinner. Despite providing clear instructions at my usual pickup spot on campus, the driver refused to locate me and was on the other side of campus. When I tried to guide him, he became impatient, raised his voice, and accused me of not being outside. He showed no effort to resolve the issue and was unprofessional. I have been receiving inconsistent partial payments since last month and have been trying to resolve this issue by reaching out to my area and account managers. Unfortunately, the response from Area Managers Ruhi S. and Sarabjeet S. has been lacking as they are ignoring my calls and messages. Previously, I had a good working relationship with Swiggy and Zomato in Rohini from 2[redacted], but due to UberEats' reputation, I decided to switch my business to them. However, I am very disappointed with the poor payment and support I have been receiving from UberEats, which are essential for a successful business partnership. I have already emailed them about terminating our contract and settling my outstanding payments, but there has been no response. My restaurant, Shree Gopalji Chole bhature, is located in Rohini, Delhi, India. If my dues are not cleared soon, I will have to escalate this matter to higher authorities due to the substantial amount owed.

I have been experiencing issues with Uber Eats riders and delivery personnel constantly parking in front of my house, leaving 5-10 bikes parked with individuals in Uber Eats attire creating disturbances. They have been littering, making remarks to visitors and passersby, and invading our privacy by staring into the house and learning our family's schedule. This has made it challenging for my small children to play outside safely. Despite expressing my concerns to the Uber Eats delivery personnel, the problem persists. I ordered from a restaurant called Escobar, but my order never arrived. I messaged the driver, and she seemed unable to locate my building. After some time, I finally saw her, but she passed me by. If you review the messages, I was outside trying to communicate with her and guide her to my location, asking her to turn around. I frequently use this app and always meet the driver outside my building. I'm unsure why this particular driver couldn't find my building when it was directly in front of her. I then contacted UberEats requesting a full refund. They replied via email, stating they couldn't refund me because I wasn't available to receive my food. This is false as I was present and eagerly waiting outside, as is my usual practice when using this service. I'm requesting a refund as I never received my food due to the driver's inability to locate the destination.

I placed a pre-paid order with Uber Eats on December 16th (Order no. #A1216). The person receiving the order on my behalf at home was not aware of the payment, so they paid the delivery person [redacted] INR in cash, not realizing it was pre-paid. I immediately raised the issue in the app once I found out about the double payment, but Uber Eats has not responded to my grievance. Last night, around 4:12 A.M., I ordered from Steak 'n Shake for delivery by 4:54 A.M. Despite waiting until 5:50 A.M., I did not receive any calls or texts. The app claimed the driver tried to contact me, but this was not the case. The driver canceled my order, leaving me without my food. When I called customer service for a refund, they mentioned the driver's false claim of attempting to reach out and waiting for 40 minutes. I live in a gated community, so I intentionally did not provide my apartment number to ensure communication - but no calls or texts were received. Despite explaining this to customer service, they declined a refund based on the driver's statement. It seems unjust and unprofessional on Uber Eats' part. I have screenshots of my phone log and messages to prove I did not hear from the driver. As a loyal 5-star Uber customer, I have never encountered such issues with deliveries in the past. Yesterday, I ordered a meal from McDonald’s using Uber Eats. However, shortly after placing the order, I realized I had entered the wrong address. I promptly cancelled the initial order and placed the same order, but to the correct address. Surprisingly, the meal ended up costing $5 more. I'm happy to share screenshots of the orders to illustrate the issue. The delivery driver took more than 10 minutes extra to arrive and then had trouble locating my apartment, despite it not being a complex navigation-wise location. She mentioned issues with her navigation. Consequently, we had to meet her at the rental office to collect the food instead of a direct delivery. The meals were all cold upon receipt, leaving me unsure if the driver's delay or initial packaging caused this. Furthermore, the order was incorrect - we ordered two Oreo McFlurrys but received two cups of vanilla ice cream that had partially melted. The fries and nuggets were also cold, leading us to discard the fries and reheat the nuggets. Although I frequently use Uber Eats without any problems, this experience was quite disappointing. Hello! I placed an order on your app last night, but encountered an error message stating my order couldn't be processed. After deleting the items, restarting the app, and trying again, the order went through successfully. However, the Uber delivery driver arrived with two orders instead of one. I later discovered I was charged for both the initial and corrected orders. I reached out to customer service for a refund, offering to return the extra food, but was informed that due to my mistake, they couldn't assist. Yesterday, I ordered a sandwich from Subway using the app. I clearly requested only a small amount of red onions and green peppers in the notes. However, my sandwich arrived with the usual amount of toppings, forcing me to remove them. The delivery driver did not have a heating bag, so my food arrived cold. Unable to eat it due to the temperature and taste, I reached out to support through the app for the first time ever. I detailed the situation, expressing my frustration over wasting money and food. Despite my efforts, I was denied a refund without a proper explanation. Three different representatives offered no resolution, advising me to leave a negative review instead. I requested to speak with a manager, but have yet to receive any contact after a whole day. I am thoroughly disappointed with the service I received.
