I ordered burgers from a local restaurant and waited over an hour for pickup, but it's still being prepared. Upon calling, I was informed the burgers are soggy. Unwilling to eat soggy food, I decided to cancel my order since it hadn't been picked up. Although my order cost around $30, the cancellation required a $27 fee. This situation is frustrating and unsatisfactory as it's not my fault. Waiting for over an hour for pickup is unacceptable when paying for a service. I've ordered from Uber Eats countless times, understanding the process of pickup and delivery after food preparation. The fault lies with Uber Eats as the restaurant had the food ready for an extended period without pickup, resulting in soggy burgers. Paying $27 for canceled soggy burgers is unjust.

I ordered from a nearby restaurant on Uber Eats at 4:21. Even though I could have picked it up in just 5 minutes, I'm unwell, so I opted for the delivery service. The estimated delivery time was initially 4:53, but kept changing until it was delayed until 5:38. An hour after placing my order, NY Pizza & Pasta confirmed that my food had been ready for 30 minutes without anyone picking it up. Unfortunately, I had to miss my meal because of a doctor's appointment, and my dining companion had to leave for class. By the time I received the food, it was cold and unappetizing. This experience turned out to be a waste of both money and time.

I am still waiting for the Uber Eats team to call and resolve my issue. I was appalled while ordering today from Uber Eats as I encountered a payment issue. It is absurd that I need to pay an outstanding amount because the delivery person should not deliver the order if the money is not paid, right? Furthermore, I accidentally tapped on Paytm, which is linked to my Uber Eats account, and [redacted] was deducted. How can you just deduct the money twice? I had already paid cash to the delivery person, and he delivered the order to me. Today, it shows an outstanding amount. I need clarification and a refund back. Uber Eats is not user-friendly. They lack a helpline number that works. I tried calling [redacted]2, but it said it's switched off. No customer care person is replying to my messages. What is wrong with you all?

I'm encountering difficulties creating a new account on Uber. It gives me an error stating that an account already exists, although I haven't made one before. When I attempt to reset the password, it tells me I have not enabled SMS service and prompts me to send an SMS to a specific number. However, I am unable to send the SMS, despite having sufficient balance on my phone. This issue is preventing me from switching to Uber Eats from Swiggy. I have tried sending the SMS multiple times without success. Please assist in deleting any erroneous accounts linked to my email and phone number so I can set up a new account on Uber Eats. I'm experiencing an issue with my UberEATS order. When it arrived, I noticed several items were missing. I reached out multiple times through the app asking for the missing items to be delivered. The response I received was that I would be refunded for the missing items and could reorder them. However, the refund only covered the items' costs, not the tax and shipping fees. I believe I shouldn't have to pay these fees again due to the delivery driver's error. All I want is to receive the food I initially ordered, which is a standard practice for most delivery services. It's frustrating to have to go through all this trouble simply to get the items I requested hours ago.

I initially wanted to request a refund, but my frustration led me to file a complaint instead. My reference number is [redacted]11. I last spoke with Supervisor Emily. I am disappointed because Uber Eats doesn’t offer suitable options without relying on online reviews. I ordered from Babaz without checking reviews first, and all five reviews were negative. Some said the food was not even edible. I just want a refund to order from Popeyes, my go-to place on Uber Eats. The representative wasted 30 minutes without resolving my issue, leaving me more frustrated. It's frustrating that getting a reasonable response when I have issues is always challenging. As a customer, I expect to be valued and refunded for unsatisfactory food. This unresolved customer service issue is distressing, and the call center representatives at Uber are not providing the service expected. A disappointed customer :(

On December 1st, I placed an order with your company for McDonald’s delivery to my house which is only two minutes away. I ordered food for four hungry children eagerly waiting at home. Despite waiting for two hours and facing numerous delays, I decided to cancel my order. After reordering, I waited an additional hour. I was surprised to receive a notification claiming the courier tried to contact me just two minutes earlier, even though my phone showed no missed calls. I attempted to reach them by calling three times but there was no answer. Eventually, my order was canceled, and I was informed that I would not receive a refund. This lack of communication during the whole delivery process is really concerning. Even after contacting your office and being informed that nothing more could be done over the phone, I was advised to send an email to request a refund.

I received a call from the restaurant indicating that my food had been ready for pick-up for over 25 minutes, and the Uber Eats driver had been canceling the pick-up for over 20 minutes. I contacted the Uber Eats support line through the app to cancel the order due to my cold food. The representative placed me on hold to check with the restaurant while 35 minutes had passed since the estimated delivery time, and my order had been picked up. The representative assisted me as I confirmed the order was cold and inedible. I was offered a 50% refund for the delay but nothing for the inedible food. I decided to use the app to communicate further as I received conflicting information. I am seeking at least the 50% refund promised for my order or a full refund.

Hello, I placed a lunch order on 5 Dec [redacted] with order number #E0E33. Initially, the bill showed [redacted], but I used an Uber credit balance of [redacted]. However, upon delivery, the delivery person asked for [redacted] without informing me that my Uber credit had been used or providing a receipt showing the deduction. After checking, it turned out only 42 was due. I lodged a complaint that day, but I have not received the refund yet. I have been sending messages daily but have not received any response. If this is the level of service, I might have to stop using your service. Kindly refund my [redacted] rupees. Thank you.

I had an issue with my Uber Eats order being marked as delivered incorrectly. I reached out for support through the app to resolve it. After a call with a customer service representative who insisted I get the food from the driver, despite my request for a refund as I had already reordered it, I felt frustrated. Despite explaining my concerns about the food being cold, the rep continued to push for me to take it from the driver. Later, when the original driver arrived at my door, the same rep was rude to him as well, causing further frustration. While on a college campus, we encountered a driver who displayed threatening behavior over the phone, acting aggressively and unprofessionally. The situation escalated to the point where security had to intervene. Despite providing the driver with directions over the phone, he failed to listen and continued yelling, further adding to the tension. Upon his arrival, he revved the engine of his car and instructed us to collect our food, but his behavior instilled fear in us as we were unsure of his intentions. When we expressed reluctance and mentioned involving the authorities, he dismissed our concerns. Subsequently, we chose to retreat indoors, leading the driver to abandon the food outside. It is imperative for UberEats to reevaluate their screening process to prevent such disturbing incidents from occurring in the future, as the safety of customers should be a top priority.

I am requesting a refund for my $35 UberEats gift card because I am unable to use it without adding a credit/debit card, despite having the credit applied. Please, can you remediate this issue by crediting my PayPal account, sending a check, or applying the credit to my Amazon gift card instead? I will not click on any helpdesk links as I am already aware of their location. It is unfair that I am forced to input a credit card to use a gift card. If this matter isn't resolved promptly, I will notify my [redacted] contacts of the unprofessionalism. Furthermore, I will involve the local consumer affairs reporter at KTLA to address this issue. The requirement of adding a credit card was not clearly communicated at the time of purchase. Rectify this situation promptly, or I will accept a $35 Visa gift card as a resolution.

I used the remaining balance to purchase gifts for others. I ordered two servings of spaghetti seafood marinara, but I received one steak instead. I contacted UberEats to report the error. After a call with Uber, they refunded the money for the incorrect item, but mentioned it would take 3 to 4 days for the refund to reflect in my account. I decided to reorder the seafood marinara and paid another $71. Unfortunately, when the UberEats driver arrived, they only delivered half of my order. I had to contact UberEats again to report the missing items. They agreed to refund one meal since only one portion was delivered. Later, I received a refund of $28 instead of the $33 I paid for the meal. Overall, I am down $[redacted] with no food in front of me. I mentioned that Domino's could have been a more cost-effective and reliable option. If UberEats doesn't resolve this situation, it will show their lack of care for customers.

Since I started using Uber Eats, I have experienced poor service. I often wait 1.5 to 2 hours for my food, without any notification if my order is canceled. It is frustrating that there is no 24/7 customer service to address these ongoing issues promptly. The lack of drivers and customer support needs to be improved. I am disappointed with the service and no representative has contacted me to offer solutions or compensation. I'm ordering my food again after it was canceled without notice, hoping for a better experience this time.

I contacted support regarding an order with an added promo code that didn't apply the discount at checkout. The total remained unchanged, even after the code was entered. I emphasized the possibility of canceling the order if the promo code was not valid. The representative assured me the discount would reflect after my card was charged. Believing the issue was resolved, I allowed the order to proceed. However, I have now been charged the full amount. It is essential to rectify this error promptly because the promo code validity was confirmed by your representative. I request a refund for the specified promo discount amount.

I received a notification that my food was picked up and delivered, but I never actually received it. When I contacted the McDonald's location I ordered from, they informed me that no one had come to collect my order. I attempted to address the issue through the app to either reorder or obtain a refund, but the app did not allow me to submit my complaint. Subsequently, I tried contacting the Uber support line but was unable to reach anyone. I am currently still on hold with them after nearly an hour with no resolution in sight. Ultimately, I had to resort to driving to the McDonald's myself. I am not shouting, but this situation is beyond frustrating. I am requesting a refund for my order as I had to personally carry out the task that I had paid for your service to handle. Needless to say, I am incredibly disappointed.

Both times, my food was delayed for over two and a half hours, and upon checking with the restaurant, they confirmed that the orders were never picked up by UberEats. My attempts to clarify the refund process with customer service resulted in abrupt disconnections, leaving me frustrated. The lack of communication and unresolved refund of $34.36 is unacceptable. I am disappointed with the service and considering not using UberEats in the future due to repeated issues. It would be appreciated if the refund could be processed promptly. Compensation, such as coupons or complimentary meals, should be considered to address the inconvenience caused not only to me but to other affected customers as well.

I placed an order with La Thai in National City, CA for $65.03 with order number FA1FC. However, the order got canceled by the restaurant halfway through preparation after I was charged. Following advice online, I reordered the same items quickly. The second order, order number 2CBBF, was placed two minutes later, but my roommate received a message to cancel it to avoid being charged twice due to the first order. I canceled the second order, but I ended up being charged for both orders without receiving any food. I am furious and demand a refund of $[redacted].57 for the total amount charged. I placed an order on UberEats on 12/10/18, but there has been a delay in the delivery status update. I contacted the restaurant after waiting for an hour and a half. According to a staff member there, the food was ready at 6:38 pm EST, just 15 minutes after I placed the order at 6:23 pm EST. Despite being told that the food was ready and that it was handed over to UberEats, my order still shows as delayed at 8:10 pm EST. I called UberEats and waited on hold for about 16 minutes and 37 seconds until a representative named Sheena briefly mentioned a problem with the dashboard and then put me back on hold without giving me a chance to respond. I have been on hold now for 43 minutes with no update. I request a full refund from UberEats since this seems to be an issue with them, not the restaurant. My order number is D8966. I also ask UberEats to address the poor customer service experience I had with representative Sheena. I am extremely disappointed and await a response from UberEats.
