I placed an order at the "New Thai Boys" restaurant at *:**p on my phone tonight. After I placed the order, the screen is stuck on "The restaurant is confirming your order", so I wanted to cancel it. However, a popup alerted me that I'll be charged ** something dollars because the restaurants has already started preparing my food. But there's no indication that the restaurant has confirmed my order according to the screen. Not wanting to play the guessing game, I cancelled the order anyways and I got charged around $**. Can I have a refund? I don't think it's fair to charge me because the information the app gave me is self-contradicting.
GetHuman-hereisso did not yet indicate what UberEATS should do to make this right.
