This is my first time ordering from Uber Eats after receiving an email about earning 2 free deliveries for reaching 15 trips. Unfortunately, the delivery experience with driver Eric was extremely upsetting. He was rude, cursed at me, and called me names when I was trying to provide him with directions to my location. I am not familiar with Queens as I am just visiting relatives, and Eric's behavior left me feeling very distressed. In all my previous experiences with Uber, I never had to provide directions as my location was easily accessible. It's disappointing that Eric, who is a local, couldn't navigate without my help. This incident has left me so upset that I couldn't even eat the food that was delivered. I believe Eric should face consequences for his unprofessional behavior, and as a result, I will not be using Uber Eats in the future.

Today, my younger sister accidentally made a purchase on my phone that I couldn't cancel without being charged. It's frustrating to be charged for something I didn't intend to buy. Being a high school student, even though it was a small amount, that $6 could have been useful for my bus fare. I wish there was a fingerprint verification feature like other apps have, to prevent unauthorized purchases. It's distressing because I now have to figure out a way to get that money back for school expenses next week. I hope there can be a more user-friendly system in place to cancel orders without incurring charges for items we don't want to receive.

Today, my little sister accidentally made a purchase on my account while playing with my phone. I couldn't cancel the order because I would still be charged, and as a high school student without much money, losing around $* is a big deal for me. I wish there was a fingerprint verification like other apps have before making purchases. I'm frustrated because now I need to figure out how to get that money back for school expenses next week. It might sound trivial, but it's important to me. It would be helpful if I could cancel an order without being charged or only pay a small fee. I really hope to get my money back since no one in my house even eats chicken nuggets.

Uber Eats Case #[redacted]3 We are disappointed with the Uber Eats business partnership processing system. We provided the necessary information about our previous and current ownership back on September 21, [redacted]. Since then, our ownership has changed with companies like Postmates and Clorder, and our business has been thriving. It's frustrating that our approval for the new ownership is taking so long. We are concerned if there are any missing steps in Uber Eats’ processing system. We've been waiting for a response for the past two months and are eager to start working with Uber Eats soon without any further delays. Thank you, CJ Hyun Owner of MCJ Foods Corp.

We ordered a 40-piece McNugget meal from a nearby McDonald's with an estimated wait time of 25-30 minutes. The order ended up taking over an hour, and we discovered the McDonald's had closed. After contacting Uber Eats and the McDonald's location, we managed to get a refund. The customer service experience was disappointing and we expected better from Uber. As regular users of Uber and UberEats, this incident has led us to stop using the services. We hope to receive a coupon or discount for our future orders. Thank you for addressing this.

I am requesting a refund of $15 for an accidental order my toddler placed without my knowledge. As soon as I noticed, I attempted to cancel the order immediately. I am deeply disappointed with Uber and Uber Eats for their refusal to refund me. The issue here is not the money but the principle; it is unacceptable for a company to keep funds for a service that was not rendered. I urge my friends, many of whom I will inform, to switch to DoorDash from now on. We have been loyal customers, spending hundreds of dollars on both platforms. It is upsetting that in a situation like this, where my child inadvertently placed an order, no resolution or even a $15 credit is offered.

I regularly use Uber Eats to have meals delivered to my workplace. Today, a driver called and abruptly canceled my order after just 3 minutes. I was surprised to see that I would not receive a refund. I had expected a longer wait time before the order could be canceled. As a loyal Uber Eats customer, I usually prefer your service over competitors like Bike Squad. However, this cancellation without a refund is very disappointing. I am considering disputing this transaction with my bank and escalating the issue to the BBB if the matter is not resolved promptly with a refund. Hiring such unethical drivers who seize the opportunity to take both my food and money is unacceptable.

My account has been unexpectedly disabled, causing frustration as I try to resolve the issue and place an order. Despite spending two days trying to fix it, there is no guarantee of success. I am upset by this experience. I have found an alternative service to fulfill my orders. There must be a more straightforward system in place for such situations. After finally speaking with a representative, they directed me back to the online system to register my complaint, hoping for a follow-up from someone.

My friend and I ordered Uber Eats, and my friend claimed the driver had arrived. When I went outside, I didn't spot the driver with our order but noticed a car parked in front of our dorm. Upon closer inspection, I realized it was one of our school's vans, not our Uber Eats driver. I searched the parking lot thoroughly, even checking inside parked vehicles, but found no sign of our driver. I noticed someone from a dorm nearby receiving their food. While it's common for multiple people on campus to use Uber Eats, we are still without our order. We are requesting a refund.

I placed an order for 3 extra Oreo McFlurrys, cookies, and 4 white milks, but received 3 frappes and 4 chocolate milks instead. The driver claimed he received what was given to him and didn't check the order. When contacting McDonald's, the person who answered laughed at us and refused a refund, mentioning their ice cream machine wasn't operational at that time. It's frustrating that they couldn't resolve the issue. I don't need a refund for the cookies. Unfortunately, I don't drink coffee, so the frappes and chocolate milks had to be discarded. I plan to reach out to McDonald's during their opening hours to request a refund for the incorrect items.

There was an order with more items than I originally thought because I only saw three separate bags on the counter. I also recall checking the order on the app. The bag was already heavy, so I wasn't aware there was another bag meant to go with it. The restaurant didn't contact me until around thirty minutes later. When I tried calling the customer, it redirected me to an automated Uber system. The system requested my number with the country code first, then the pound key. However, it repeatedly stated that the number wasn't linked to the one on the app. Despite confirming that the app had the correct verified number, I couldn't understand why I couldn't connect with the customer.

Hello, my name is Nathan Foote. I previously submitted a complaint about my order which cost nearly $10 but was incorrect. I did not consume any of the items and I am dissatisfied with only being offered a $3 credit. I am requesting a full refund for my order. I am willing to provide images of the received items to demonstrate the error. I had to drive to McDonald's myself after the Uber Eats driver failed to verify the order, which resulted in the food being cold upon arrival. The McDonald's Manager advised me that Uber Eats would issue a full refund. I insist on a refund only; otherwise, I will escalate the issue further. My order number is #736FD.

I made a purchase late on Saturday but then canceled it, only to find out that I was still charged. This is really frustrating as I would have just kept the food if I knew I would be charged regardless. The situation started when there was an issue with my previous Uber Eats order from Papa John's, as the restaurant had no record of it. So, I reordered from Bacci's thinking I wouldn't get the Papa John's order. But then the original order arrived after I had canceled the Bacci's one. It's disappointing and confusing. I am seeking a full refund for the charge as this whole experience has been unreliable and left me without the food I wanted.

I was charged even though I canceled my order. This is unacceptable. I would have kept the food if I knew I would still be charged. This all started with an issue with Uber Eats on a previous order from Papa John's before I ordered from Bacci's. Papa John's said they had no record of my order, which led me to order from Bacci's. When the Uber Eats driver claimed to have my Papa John's order, I canceled Bacci's. There was no indication I would still be charged for the cancellation. I am requesting a full refund for the charge. Uber Eats' unreliability and confusion with my initial order is disappointing, and being charged for a replacement order I didn't receive adds to the frustration.

Last Thursday, I placed a frequent UberEats order but did not receive a portion of it. Despite contacting the restaurant, I had to reach out to UberEats for assistance. After a 20-minute call, they credited my account for the missing items but later realized my account had been mistakenly terminated by a previous customer service agent. Despite repeated attempts to login and contact customer service, I could not access my account. I am frustrated by the incomplete order, the locked account, and the lack of compensation for my time. I am concerned about the refund and the inability to communicate further with customer service. The situation has caused a lot of inconvenience for my family, and I need clarity on the resolution before deciding whether to continue using UberEats services.

Hello, my name is Zatanna B. Recently, I placed an order at McDonald's for a Big Mac meal. Instead of receiving a soda, I received a milkshake. I expected the driver to contact me beforehand to inform me that they were out of milkshakes, so I could choose something else. Sadly, this was not the case, and the driver only disclosed this information upon arrival, which left me with no beverage to accompany my meal. McDonald's failed to notify me of this change via email. I received my Big Mac without the milkshake. I believe I should be refunded for the milkshake that was missing from my order. I wish the driver had communicated this issue more promptly and professionally instead of waiting until the last minute. This incident occurred on November 19th at 7:15 PM.

I made an order at 5:08 pm, but the delivery time kept getting pushed back as I couldn't connect with a driver. I contacted the restaurant after an hour, only to find out that they had notified Uber Eats at 5:15 pm that the food was ready but no driver was assigned. I received my FIRST message from Uber almost an hour later, mentioning driver issues. This delay is unacceptable; orders should only be accepted if a driver is available. Waiting for an hour without any updates was frustrating. After searching for a support number, I was able to reach Uber, who eventually canceled the order. We had to send someone to pick up and pay for the food, which defeated the purpose of using Uber Eats for a convenient meal with family in town. This experience was a complete nightmare, and I won't be using your service again due to the lack of communication and details provided.

I placed an order on Ubereats at 11:46 pm during my night shift for lunch. Currently, the "expected delivery" time is nearly an hour from when I ordered. There are many drivers in my area according to the app, so the delay doesn't seem to be Uber's fault. I am frustrated that I can't cancel the order due to it being prepared, even though it's taking excessively long. It would be helpful to have a cancellation window for situations like these. While inconveniencing a restaurant is not ideal, as paying customers, we should have some consideration as well.

I canceled my order immediately after placing it and I'm confused why McDonald’s had already prepared and charged for it. I need my $20 refunded as I didn't receive the food. I'm a college student on a budget, so this is a significant loss. UberEats should understand and refund customers without losing money. I request a reimbursement or a gift card. Mistakes happen, and a good business should address and resolve the issue proactively, not dismiss it. The cancellation process on the phone took too long, causing a delay in stopping the order. I expressly asked for a cancellation and refund, not a delivery address change. I had to repeat my request multiple times, dragging out the process. This poor customer service experience is disappointing, especially as a frequent UberEats user.

I was about to order from Uber Eats, selected a place I wanted to try, but got surprised by the high cost. I decided to switch to another restaurant. Unfortunately, the app placed the order on its own while my phone was idle. I cannot find a way to cancel the order. I am dissatisfied with this experience and plan to avoid using Uber Eats in the future. I am requesting a refund due to the unwanted and costly order placed by the app mistakenly.
