Order food from a new restaurant advertised as in my area. ... The application appeared to have my correct location listed as **** Quantrell Ave, Alexandria, VA and offered an option that appeared to be a nearby location. **I began selecting items from the menu. Place an order. I then notice my location map change to to Wilmington, DE. My phones location services were on and some address I have never have had food delivered prior was selected. **I cancelled the ordered within * minute of originally placing the order and yet I was still charged the full price minus the delivery fee. This hardly seems reasonable as this was a location glitch that occurred in the app or service. **I would like a full refund or a complete coupon code for the amount of $** for the inconvenience. If my requests are not met I will be eliminating the service from my rotation entirely both Uber and Uber eats. **The account attached is tied to the phone number ***-***-**** and the email address is *****@***.com. the Order was placed on **********.
I have no control over a glitch in the app. Why am i being charged?
Coupon for amount charged or monies returned pretty simple.
I've used the service pretty consistently for a while and consistently tip.
