I've been robbed of $**. This app should not have a cancel order feature if it does not give people enough time to cancel their order before charging them. My order was placed accidentally then immediately and directly cancelled. The restaurant accepted the order in the time it took to navigate the cancellation menue. There wasn't enough time for a worker at the restaurant to read the order let alone begin preparing it. But because the app is automated and provides no cancellation window i need to "reimburse" the restaurant for my order flashing on their screen for less than ** seconds? That is ludicrous, the cancellation feature shouldn't exist if it only functions to steal peoples money. The app NEEDS a cancellation window before the order is sent to the restaurant of at least ** seconds. I will not use an app that can steal my money due to a miss click.
GetHuman-kylebk did not yet indicate what UberEATS should do to make this right.
