Dear UberEat,*first of all, thanks for the quick feedback but I want to raise a serious concern regarding this order. There has been so many confusion and I'm sure Uber or the restaurant is lying at this point, and I am very disappointed. **I understand from your first response that, even though I accidentally ordered and canceled after few seconds that the restaurant accepted it, and Uber must reimburse the restaurant for this. I wanted to confirm that the restaurant received my order so I called them separately. At first, they told me that they had already prepared my order and it was still sitting on their counter and they contacted Uber numerously to pick it up. I hung up at that point and called again soon after to tell them that I will come to pick up the order myself since it was prepared and Uber was compensating for the food anyways. At that point, they all of a sudden told me that they couldn't hear me and that they were closed even though the restaurant closes at **pm (the phone call was at **pm). Since they claimed that they couldn't hear me, I had my friend call the restaurant since we walked to the restaurant at that point. Then they suddenly changed their words and told us that they actually canceled the order through Uber already and they were not getting paid so they couldn't give us the food. I was very confused since at first, they told me that the food was already sitting on the counter and I walked all the way over to the restaurant since I didn't want it to go to waste. The restaurant told me that they will talk to Uber and get back to me.**After this, I came to the conclusion that one of the parties is lying. If Uber is reimbursing the restaurant for the value of the food anyways, why am I not allowed to pick up the food that "I paid for and that has been charged to me." I don't know whether Uber or the restaurant is taking advantage of my money but I wasted my own time, energy, and money because of conflicting responses that I have been receiving. This experience led me to doubt the integrity of the company and I want to have this issue resolved as soon as possible.
