Early this morning (**:**) I ordered Uber Eats for my very first time. My initial experience with the company was dissatisfying. *When I ordered my ** piece chicken nugget from McDonalds, I ordered it because I needed it fast-- I have other things to work on besides waiting too long for food. I waited merely an hour to receive my fast food that was marketed with an arrival time of *:**. *I offered Uber two opportunities to redeem themselves, but I was not taken very seriously it appeared. Being concerned at the time, I called the company support line and the guy left me on hold for * minutes and told me that my food was done and it was sitting there waiting to be picked up. I was very upset to hear that I would "just have to wait". I called again after waiting some time and noticing that my food still hasn't left the restaurant. This call was also deceiving when I requested a refund and was told again to just wait. I waited until *:** for my nuggets to arrive cold. *I have to say my experience with Uber has turned and my * roommates and I away from your business and towards DoorDash. They care about their customers experience and they also offer a deal for $* delivery for a whole month. This should NEVER happen on a to a customer, especially if it's first time ordering. Your customer lifetime value with my friends and I will stay at just shy of $**. I don't expect a resolution at this point for this problem, I just wanted to inform the company of its errors and the repercussions of them.
