I put in an order at *:**pm to a restaurant about ** minutes from my house. It’s *pm now and the food is still sitting at the restaurant. I called the restaurant and they told me the food has been ready for pickup since *:** and no one has come. There’s no driver I can call and no customer service help from Uber. I am beyond frustrated because there was no way to solve my problem. I chose to pay for a meal and delivery because I could not leave my home tonight and it’s crazy to wait this long and have it sitting at the restaurant. Not even on its way! The woman at the restaurant said she couldn’t get a driver to pick up my order yet. I would love for uber to improve their communication between drivers, customers, and restaurants for UberEats. I am also hoping to get a refund as this has been completely absurd.
