I ordered the oxtail meal from Jean's Takeout at a high price of $25. Unfortunately, the meal did not meet my expectations. Missing plantains, plain rice instead of beans & rice, and cabbage with unexpected peppers I'm allergic to have left me dissatisfied. I reached out to UberEats through email twice to address the issue but received only support messages, no real response. Frustrated by the lack of progress, I even contacted UberEats' direct line, only to be told a refund was not possible due to it being a "different department." This back-and-forth has been unhelpful, and I am now turning to this forum in hopes of resolving my issue and receiving the refund I deserve.

My account is having issues accepting any cards. Despite contacting my bank multiple times, the problem persists. Improving customer service accessibility is crucial. Currently, it's nearly impossible to reach a representative. It feels like Uber only cares about taking money rather than addressing customer concerns promptly. It's frustrating that my account randomly decides when to accept or process orders. I've tried emailing and calling numerous times, even contacting all my banks. The lack of communication and service is disappointing. I would appreciate guidance on how to reactivate my Uber Eats account.

Hello, my name is Christal Smith. I am facing an issue trying to sign up for Uber Eats as a driver. Even though I uploaded my insurance, I keep receiving a notification that my car is too old. I have checked the car year requirement, which is at least [redacted] or newer. My car, a [redacted] Lexus ES [redacted] with full coverage insurance, is in excellent condition. I find it unfair that I cannot drive for Uber Eats due to my car's year. I notice people delivering food on scooters while I cannot use my well-maintained [redacted] Lexus. I intend to purchase a new car eventually but would like to start driving for Uber Eats with my current vehicle to assess how much I enjoy it before committing to a new car. I am disappointed by the food I received as it was cold, dry, and not appetizing. Despite sending a picture and raising the issue through the app, I did not receive any helpful response. The total cost was over $25, and I couldn't eat the food. I tried calling the store, but they were closed. It seems they were not taking orders according to the app. I am unsure of what other steps to take. I have had good orders in the past, but this experience stands out.

I have been having immense difficulty ordering food. I frequently use Uber and GrubHub, but my experience with UberEats has been frustrating. Despite creating my UberEats account around 4 years ago, I am unable to reset my password, even though I work in tech. The lack of social login and the complex password recovery process are exasperating, especially as I am trying to order pizza for a party. On September 1st, I ordered two chicken tender and fry dinners from Henry's Tavern. Unfortunately, what we received was inedible. The chicken was hard and dry, and instead of the french fries shown in the picture on the site, we were given round, extremely flat ??? covered in an unusually hot orange powder. This was not the standard we've experienced in the past with their food. My 14-year-old even vomited after attempting to eat the chicken. I kindly request a refund of $30 for this disappointing meal. Despite multiple attempts since September 1st, the issue remains unresolved, despite assurances from GetHuman that it was fixed. Please address this matter promptly.

I had a disappointing experience with Uber Eats last night when I ordered food from McDonald's at 1:20 am. I use Uber Eats regularly, so I was surprised when my order didn't arrive as expected. After waiting for three hours with no sign of my food, I received a call from a worker named Joseph Pierre explaining that they couldn't find my address. Despite my frustration, Joseph and I ended up arguing on the phone. He never called back or informed me when my food arrived. I discovered it outside on the floor, cold, wet, and soggy. This whole situation was disrespectful and disappointing, making it the worst experience I've had. I plan to take action regarding this incident and am requesting a refund from Uber Eats.

I had a terrible experience with a driver on Uber Eats. I've ordered from them multiple times, always to the same tricky address. I usually guide drivers on how to enter our building, but when I tried to help Fabiola, she yelled and claimed I gave her the wrong address. Even after apologizing, she arrived late and acted extremely unprofessionally. She seemed indifferent to how she had spoken to me on the phone. It was the worst service I've ever received from a driver.

I contacted the delivery partner who insisted I provided the wrong address even though he was in my complex. Despite my efforts, he hung up on me. After a search, I found him but he left before delivering my complete order. The restaurant couldn't reach him for over an hour. They eventually informed me he wasn't returning as he felt Uber wouldn't compensate him. Frustrated, I had to drive to collect a replacement meal, waiting another half hour. This ordeal resulted in me eating my pizza at 11:35 pm, disrupting my plans to relax at home after a long day. This experience was disappointing, particularly since my previous encounters with Uber were generally positive.

I placed an order on 9/12 with a delivery window of 11:50, which was later changed to 12:15 (right when my lunch break ends at 12:30). After contacting the restaurant and finding out that my order hadn't even been picked up yet, I decided to cancel. I reached out to UberEats customer service to inform them of the situation and requested a cancellation without any charges due to the delay caused by Uber. The representative assured me that the order would be canceled without any fees. Despite this, I kept receiving calls from the driver attempting to deliver the unwanted food and later noticed a charge on my account. When I contacted UberEats again to address the issue and inquire about a refund, I was told there was no record of it. Despite providing all my details during my previous call that day, they claimed not to have any information regarding a refund. This experience has left me dissatisfied, and I have decided not to use Uber in the future.

I found my coffee leaking into the bag, and my food arrived cold. Upon opening the bag, I noticed the coffee lid was not fully secured. Inside the bag, my big breakfast was messy with the lid not properly on the meal. The sausage had hard bits, making it inedible, and the bacon in the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was discolored with black spots, forcing me to discard it. This particular McDonald’s is known for constant mistakes and poor food quality, accompanied by subpar customer service. I regret ordering from this location and would like a refund. Hoping to avoid further issues, I might try Uber Eats next time. I have suspicions about the staff tampering with food based on stories from former employees. Despite addressing the issue with management, the problem persists. My order number is #E0C32.

My account information was stolen, and the thief purchased a $55 meal from Church's Chicken. I reported it through the app's help section, and all they advised was to change my password. They sent me a link, but I have been waiting for a response for 5 days with no reply. I am frustrated as I am disabled, and I cannot believe someone would spend $55 on just chicken. I followed their advice and changed my password, but I need more assistance. I spoke with my card company, and they recommended contacting Uber to resolve this issue better. Please help me beyond just changing my password.

During one of my initial experiences with Uber Eats, I encountered a delay of an hour and a half before being able to cancel my order. Following that, in another instance, my order arrived incomplete. I was informed that a credit would be applied to my account, but it never materialized. Recently, I unintentionally submitted an order, but attempted to cancel it before the restaurant accepted it. Despite the app stating that cancellations are possible before the restaurant confirms the order, I was unable to do so. After contacting customer service to cancel the order, I was informed I would be charged without receiving any food, which I found to be incredibly frustrating. This situation, along with previous cancellations by the service, has left me extremely disappointed with Uber Eats.

I am extremely disappointed with the way my recent order concerns were handled. There were multiple items missing from my order, and the quality of what I did receive was subpar. After reaching out to Uber Eats, I was informed that due to previous issues, they would not be addressing this problem. This feels unjust, as I have been a loyal customer, spending hundreds of pounds through the app. I always expect my orders to be accurate and of good quality, and it's disappointing that this time my concerns are being dismissed. Despite making numerous successful orders without any complaints, I am now being told that any future issues will not be resolved because of past occurrences. We tried to have a pizza delivered to the hotel through Uber Eats, but the driver never arrived at the restaurant for pick-up. After reaching out to the restaurant twice, they confirmed the driver hadn't shown up. It's been over an hour past the delivery time, and we are very upset with the service. We couldn't easily contact the driver for updates and this has been frustrating. Considering we spent more than $40 on the order, we expect some form of refund for the excessively long wait. It's unacceptable for the delivery to be delayed this much. The restaurant later informed us that the Uber Eats driver finally picked up the order, a task that shouldn't have fallen on them. Please review my account. It has been a prolonged period during which my account has been suspended. If requesting refunds after accidents violates your policies, I am left with no options. Uber is essential for my daily commute to work and back, especially during peak hours. Kindly address this matter urgently, or I will be forced to take legal action. My husband calmly called the restaurant about our Uber Eats order. The bread we received was moldy with a large visible spot. When he asked for a refund, they directed us to Uber for it. They offered new food, but we declined. This unhygienic incident led us to dispose of everything. The manager, Shawn, admitted there was mold on it, which is unacceptable. We are concerned about the overall quality of the order after this discovery. We are seeking a refund for the whole order. The restaurant is Legends Tavern & Grille in Deerfield Beach, FL.
