I ordered Ubereats yesterday **********. I placed an order (order* ****A). Within * minutes I realized I set it for the wrong address and I canceled the order, and then I reordered with the correct address* (order* **C**). The following morning I noticed I was charged twice. I called support and they told me I will not get a refund for my cancelled order because the restaurant started to prepare the food, that I should have cancelled earlier I took * minutes basically to long. So I asked how long did it take the restaurant to accept and prepare the food? Support said within seconds. What I don't understand is, there is no time frame to actually cancel an order then, how do you expect me to cancel an order in time if the restaurant accepted and started preparing within seconds? Where is the time frame. So now I am stuck with a ** dollar bill because I didn't click cancel within seconds of placeing the order. I would like a refund. If we contacted the restaurant they probably would be able to confirm whether or not they started this canceled order within seconds of receiving it, and im pretty sure they did not. I would just like my refund , because this makes no sense.
