I tried to cancel my order in order to change an item. It was less than ** seconds when it showed me the receipt and I realized my mistake. I called ubereats immediately to make the correction and I was told that they could do nothing because I cancelled. I asked for a manager and was told the manager would tell me the same thing. Was put on hold and call disconnected. Called again and was to told they could do nothing, call the restaurant. Called the restaurant and was told by Chris that they never started the order and did not charge me because it was cancelled immediately. I would like a refund. My order number was FA***. I placed order at *:** and cancelled email was received by *:**pm.
GetHuman-kjettm did not yet indicate what UberEATS should do to make this right.

The ubereats representative saw that I actually went to the restaurant and purchased the exact same food items with the correction and had mercy on me, so my refund was granted. Great customer service at the end. Those phone reps were no help. I also uploaded my receipt of the food I purchased to validate what happened once I went to the restaurant to repurchase my food.
