I have ordered from McDonald's at Bloor and Ossington multiple times, and I have consistently not received certain items from my orders. Tonight, my daughter's happy meal combo and my wife's McChicken combo were missing. When I contacted the restaurant, they directed me to Uber Eats for a refund. This recurring problem of missing items is very frustrating, and I would like a full refund for the entire meal, including what we did receive. It is disappointing to pay for items that are not delivered. Quality and convenience are essential in this service, and I hope this issue can be resolved promptly to maintain a positive customer-business relationship. Thank you.

I frequently order from UberEats and have rarely encountered any issues. I reside in an apartment complex, so I always make sure to provide my gate code in the notes for the driver. Typically, the drivers locate it without any difficulty. However, today, after ordering my usual meal from the usual place, the app indicated a 20-minute delivery time. I was waiting when I suddenly received an email saying my order had been delivered. Surprisingly, there was no knock, no call, and no food. I attempted to reach out to the driver without success due to the status showing as "delivered." Subsequently, I contacted the restaurant to confirm the pickup time, and I was informed it occurred over an hour ago. I proceeded to reach out to email support for clarification or a refund, but unfortunately, I have yet to receive a response. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated. I simply want a refund.

I am still frustrated as my problem was not resolved by your customer service representative. The incorrect order was never delivered, causing inconvenience due to pregnancy and allergies concerns being ignored. The representative only processed a refund without addressing the issue of ensuring correct orders in the future. When I requested to speak to another representative, my concerns were dismissed, and the call ended abruptly. This level of service is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the company. I am requesting a supervisor to contact me at [redacted] regarding order #[redacted] to ensure accurate notation of my experience. I expect better moving forward.

This is the second order this week where my expected delivery time continues to get pushed further and further out. When I contact the restaurant to see what the hold-up is, I’m told on both occasions that my meal had left a while ago, over 30 minutes in one case, and my food was still showing as being prepared. This makes it look like the restaurant is taking too long, when my food has actually been to numerous other locations before it is on its way to me. This situation is extremely unacceptable. It falsely implicates the restaurant for the prolonged wait, and I am eager to track the whereabouts of my food. I refuse to wait over 30 minutes after my salad, which was supposed to be cold, has been prepared and dispatched without knowing its location.

My partner and I were ordering Chinese takeout on UberEats. Right after confirming the order, we noticed it was being sent from a restaurant in Kansas City, where my partner recently visited for work. We are here in Chicago. We quickly tried to cancel the order, only to be told by the representative that it was too late and the food was already on its way. This seemed odd since only a couple of minutes had passed. I hope that the representative was mistaken and not deliberately misleading us. While we like using UberEats, we expect honesty and fairness. We are requesting a refund for the order placed by David Bote at [redacted]. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

My first experience with Uber Eats was disappointing. I ordered McDonald’s around 12:00am, expecting delivery by 12:30. However, the delivery time kept extending until 1:32am. I reached out to support at 12:50 and was informed the delivery time wouldn’t change. At 1:22am, I received a notification that my order couldn’t be delivered. I had higher expectations and doubt I'll recommend or use this app again.

Yesterday, I placed an order at Uber Eats Pickel Barrel (Sherway Gardens) with order number # BCEEE. I ordered crispy calamari, lobster and jumbo shrimp linguine, Caesar salad, and Spanish paella, totaling $66.63. However, upon receiving my order, it was completely incorrect with a salad containing raw fish and a rice bowl with chicken. I contacted Uber Eats to explain the error, where they confirmed a $66.63 refund was processed. Unfortunately, despite this assurance, the refund has not yet reflected in my credit card account, causing inconvenience to my dinner plans and feeding my children.

I arranged for a delivery while I was working and left specific instructions to call my child's phone upon arrival. The delivery driver did not follow these instructions and called me multiple times, which I couldn't answer due to being in meetings. Despite my attempts to communicate, the driver only spoke Spanish and didn't refer to the delivery notes. She couldn't understand the provided number when I read it to her. After having my child wait outside with no sign of the delivery, I had to step out of a meeting to sort it out with a colleague who speaks Spanish. The language barrier made it impossible to resolve the issue efficiently.

My order was over an hour late due to the driver having trouble finding my location on the GPS system. Despite providing step-by-step instructions, the driver struggled to follow them, citing difficulties with seeing street signs. Eventually, I had to offer to meet the driver to expedite the process. What was meant to be a quick late-night meal order turned into a frustrating experience with delays and cold food when the delivery was finally made.

I had a disappointing experience with an Uber EATS driver today. This has happened to me before and it's frustrating. My weekly office order was cancelled by Raymond in a Toyota Corolla 7PKZ801. The notification said he tried to call, but I received no call, and when I tried to reach him, it went to voicemail. He mentioned "no parking" when I messaged him about waiting outside, and before I could explain, he cancelled the order, all within 3 minutes. I am extremely displeased with this level of service. Sadly, the restaurant I order from is only available on Uber EATS, making it hard to switch to another platform.

I attempted to use a gift card for Smallcakes in Largo, FL. Despite spending over an hour using the app on both my smartphone using Chrome and my laptop using Firefox, I encountered issues. I managed to input the credits and a credit card number, then placed an order for 4 cupcakes. However, each time I tried to proceed with the order by clicking "order now" or "complete your order," the page froze. Smallcakes Largo was not even available on the UberEats app, so I had to search for it on Google and access it through the web browser. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful in completing my order after several attempts using different methods. I'm frustrated and seeking assistance. Hopefully, I can resolve this soon as I am craving a cupcake! 😱

Hello, I'm Rush, and I recently placed an order on the UberEats app. Unfortunately, they made a mistake with my first order, sending me the wrong food. Although they refunded me, they didn't provide a credit for the error on my next order. When I tried to cancel my subsequent order due to an incorrect price, it had already been accepted by the restaurant. Despite contacting customer support, I was only able to cancel the order without the fee being refunded. I believe Uber should have taken responsibility for their mistake. It was frustrating being on hold for 10 minutes while they tried to resolve the issue. The lack of customer service was evident. After contacting the restaurant directly, I discovered that the Uber representative had not been honest about communicating with them promptly. This whole experience has left me feeling disappointed and underestimated.

I placed an order on Ubereats on August 10, [redacted]. My driver was Andrew. I made a mistake and had my order sent to [redacted] Glenmore, my previous location where I used Ubereats. When I contacted the restaurant because the driver claimed he left the food on the counter in a hurry, they informed me that he asked if the food belonged to anyone, and after they said no, he left it on the counter saying I have free food. This is not the first time I have experienced issues like this with Ubereats. In this instance, instead of taking the food with him, the driver left it behind after nobody claimed it. I paid $30 for food that I never received. I am requesting a refund to be issued back to my card.

I experienced a missing drink in my order, and no one seems to take responsibility. The Uber driver directed me to contact McDonald's, who then advised me to reach out to Uber. I simply wanted my soda. In a hurry with others to feed, I reordered the same soda through your service. The new order was $7.60, including a $5.49 additional delivery fee, while the original price was $1.99. I believe both companies should have ensured accuracy; McDonald's to fulfill the order correctly and the Uber driver to check and include all items. I kindly request a gift card or credit as compensation for this inconvenience if I decide to continue using this service. I only seek to recover what I paid for. Thank you.

I experienced issues with the delivery service, particularly with the fluctuating delivery times. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was subpar, especially the veggie burger. The bottom bun was soggy and fiery, while the overall meal was damp and somewhat cold. The chicken strips were overly spicy, catering more towards a younger audience. The skillet meal was also cold, with overly salty chicken. I contacted the restaurant, but the lady I spoke with was unhelpful and impolite, insisting that the food's condition was due to the waiting time for the driver and the nature of the veggie burger with caramelized onions. She directed me to address my concerns with the delivery service. I am disappointed as I spent approximately $50.00 on a nearly inedible meal, and I am seeking a refund. Thank you.

On the 10th of August [redacted], I ordered 10 shawarmas from Cafe52 in Camp, Pune to share with friends and their families. Unfortunately, the quality was extremely poor. The chicken quantity was insufficient, and the garlic paste had an off-putting smell. It seems that due to a 50% discount offered on Uber Eats, they are compromising on portions. This experience on Friday was disappointing. Instead of the usual delicious food, this time it was subpar. I was embarrassed to serve such low-quality shawarma to my guests. If improvements are not made, I may reconsider ordering from Uber Eats in the future. Regards, SS.

I was charged twice for the same order. We canceled the first order promptly and reordered the same items along with additional ones. Even though the restaurant verified they didn't receive the duplicate payment and requested a refund from Uber, they declined. Our typical monthly Uber Eats expenditure exceeded $[redacted], and we are generous tippers. Now, it stands at zero. It seems like a fraudulent situation as the money intended for the restaurant wasn't passed on to them. I have escalated the matter to a legal counsel for assessment. [redacted] I have contested the charge with my credit card company, lodged a complaint with the BBB, and terminated both Uber accounts. Uber sacrificed an account that regularly spent over $[redacted] per month for a mere $10.81. Well done. [redacted] [redacted] The response from Uber: "Hi there, Thank you for reaching out about this order. Upon review, it appears you canceled the order after the restaurant accepted it, which led to a charge on your account. Consequently, we are unable to refund you. In the future, please ensure you have all desired items in your order before finalizing it. Thank you for your understanding." Sent by Patricia P. on Friday, August 10, [redacted] at 7:21:43 PM

Hello, I placed an UberEats order yesterday under Amanda McDonough's account using the email [redacted] The order was made at 7:39 and canceled promptly at 7:40. Despite canceling within the 5-minute window, we were still charged for the order, contrary to UberEats' policy. Subsequently, we reordered immediately after the cancellation, and the food arrived over 2 hours later from a place just 3 miles away. We were charged the full amount for the delayed order, totaling over $70 for both. This situation is unacceptable. I am requesting a full refund for the initial order and a discount for the second order. Thank you, Katherine

I recently placed an order from Moe's through the UberEats app. Unfortunately, upon receiving my order, I noticed that one item was missing - the First Rule of Chicken Club. After contacting Moe's and speaking to the manager at the I-75 location, he claimed that all items were included in the bag. The missing item is priced at $10.31, while the total order amounted to $44.76. I have documented what I received along with the receipt. This is not the first time I've encountered issues with UberEats, and I am quite disappointed with the service. I look forward to other delivery options such as Postmates and DoorDash becoming available in my area. Feel free to request the pictures via email if needed.

Yesterday, I placed an order on Uber Eats from a restaurant near my home in Welling, Kent. However, the driver went in the opposite direction after picking up my food, causing a delay in delivery time from 7 to 14 minutes. He explained he had to go home for his phone charger, resulting in my food arriving 45 minutes late and cold. I contacted Uber Eats through the app seeking a refund due to the driver's actions. I find it unjust to pay for food that arrived cold because the driver detoured home during delivery. I have evidence of our conversation and the driver's route on my phone. It's frustrating to be charged for the driver's mistake. I hope for a fair resolution to this issue. Thank you, Lizzie.
