The issue in GetHuman-rushsomm's own words
Hello,*My name is Rush and I recently ordered some food from the ubereats app. My first order was placed I received the wrong food. They refunded my money but refused to give me a credit for their mistake and my next order. Frustrated from having to wait another ** minutes to an hour, I placed my next order. I then received a receipt that stated it was going to be approximately be $** compared to the regular price of about $**. The hadn't updated the delivery fee and I went to cancel it immediately but it had already been accepted by Piada. I called customer support and was placed on a ** minute hold as they tried to call the place and cancel the order. The representative then told me he couldn't do anything for me except cancel the order and I would be charged for the food but not the fee. I believe this is a lack of customer service and Uber should have "eaten" the cost of this mistake. I called Piada after I got off the phone with the representative and called Piada myself and they picked up right away. The representative informed me that he was waiting to talk to someone all that time. It is insulting to say the least to lie to me.
GetHuman-rushsomm did not yet indicate what UberEATS should do to make this right.
