I ordered Mcdonalds with an estimation of **-** minutes at the time of purchase. In fact it was labeled under the "Under ** minutes" options. This being my first time, I assumed that my meal would arrive in the time the app estimated. However, I waited ** minutes for the meal, and to make matters worse it was cold. During the process after ** minutes I called the uber support number and I was assured that I would be compensated however the man said the system was updating and to call back the next day. The following day, this morning, I call in and ubereats had told me they could not do nothing and it "was in the estimated time". As the consumer this was unfair for me to pay money given an estimate only to see the estimated time rise to ** minutes. Not to mention, the cold food. This is my first time ever using the service and this outrageous how a * dollar meal cannot be compensated when the service was as bad as it was.
GetHuman-seanmccr did not yet indicate what UberEATS should do to make this right.
