This ISSUE was NOT FIXED. Harassed by driver, told to go pick up my food on a dark road where she decided to park? I forgot I pay the delivery driver to stop at a random address so I can go drive to pick up my food. Sick and twisted human being, beyond terrible service. Hungry, no dinner, and a nasty uber driver calls is what I pay for right?

Eat my dinner. I was trying to help this nasty woman get to my place so I can eat and she can get paid. I did not yell, I sent messages which you can clearly see when you look up the order. I hope there is a call log that records too because if you hear it you will be more appalled than I am. ... My order was picked up from the restaurant tablao wine bar in Norwalk Ct by Maria . My address is very straight forward and she went to the wrong address. I know this happens on occasion so I nicely messaged her directions and she proceeded to get very nasty and tell me she is parking her car and I need to come pick up the food because it’s not her fault I put the wrong address (which I did not and never have being a frequent uber eats customer I even put explicit directions with the address). I kept trying to explain to her where to go it was two roads away , she refused to listen and then hung up on me and canceled my order. I am absolutely appalled by this driver and the fact that someone can hire someone like that to deal with people. It is her JOB to be courteous and should have been appreciative of my help and that I was not upset . That was my dinner she canceled and now it’s too late to order. She needs to lose her job because I can guarantee if the directions I have were too complex for her then this has to happen more frequently then youd think. How do you drive as a job but can’t turn on two roads? I paid to have my food delivered and I’m demanded to meet a stranger on a dark road ? That’s pretty sick and twisted. She was so demanding as if this was a normal conversation and she was right. I’m still in awe that this even happened. Two turns, thats it. I am so disgusted by this I don’t know if I would ever order from uber again. Will see if she is dealt with appropriately because she clearly cannot do her job the slightest bit. An elementary student can look at a map and find a name, why can’t she? Is it okay that I was verbally abused while paying her to deliver my food? My father is a private investigator and what she did was harrassment so if uber doesn’t handle it, I will. I insist someone calls me back as this is a matter that should be dealt with correctly and right away. What a disgrace to represent your company. Maria, Norwalk ct, drives a Hyundai. Speaks broken English. She should be appalled with herself.
A map has streets on it and roads have street signs. If she read the street sign she would see she was not at the correct location
She needs to be fired because it is clear she cannot use a map and definitely cannot speak to people respectfully. You cannot do a job like this without being able to do those two things correctly
I’ve been a regular customer for over * years. I expect people who work in the food industry, delivery, retail etc to talk to customers with the utmost respect especially when that customer is not upset but trying to help .
Call but they said call back of course that the system was down . The REP DID NOT HELP NOR MAKE IT AN URGENT MATTER. He did not apologize , he did not offer any type of resolution . This WAS NOT FIXED simply because I pressed spoke to rep. I pressed not fixed but ironically it says fixed . Is the customer care service as rude and disrespect as this driver was or will this matter be dealt with? I wish I could say I know it would but at this point I have no faith in uber eats .
