When Jeffrey picked me up, he only planned for the trip to the destination and overlooked the return home. He mentioned that he wasn't scheduled to bring me back, but out of kindness, he offered. I paid him $50 in cash to ensure I had a ride home. However, upon checking the charges later, I noticed I was billed for both trips instead of just the one. As a disabled individual on a fixed income, this unexpected extra cost of $50 for the return trip is not acceptable. I would like to request a refund for the $50 I paid in cash as Uber is not supposed to accept cash payments. Kindly contact me promptly regarding this matter. Thank you for your assistance.

I had difficulty with an Uber request on June 15th, [redacted], trying to get a ride from Virginia Beach Amphitheater. The app didn't connect me to a driver, stating there were none available. Consequently, I walked to the YMCA and hailed a taxi after waiting for a long time. About 90 minutes later, an Uber driver called to say she was at the Amphitheater. I never confirmed the ride or received a price estimate. She quoted me $30, which I accepted, providing her with our new location. However, I was charged over $66, including an $11+ wait time fee. I experienced an issue with my ride pick-up address due to unintentionally changing it on the app. When attempting to confirm my pick-up location with the "Pickup Nearby" option, it seems to have altered my address without any indication. The driver arrived at the modified location and after a brief exchange, he canceled the trip, leaving me without a ride and charging me a cancellation fee. I believe I should be refunded for this charge. Additionally, Uber should improve their app to confirm pick-up addresses to avoid similar incidents in the future.

I want to alert all Uber drivers about the lack of real support available, even for those with "diamond" tier status. Uber support is non-existent, making it impossible to resolve any serious issues or speak with a supervisor. After being falsely deactivated due to an error with the app's software, I was unable to get immediate help. Only being offered a generic appeal process that takes days to resolve. This lack of in-person or phone support has left me permanently deactivated, despite not violating any rules. It's frustrating and disheartening to be left in the dark by Uber, causing financial strain on me as a single mother. They need to improve their system and provide better assistance to their drivers. I hope my experience can highlight the flaws in Uber's support system and prevent others from facing similar hardships.

I scheduled an Uber ride from [redacted] E Penn St, Long Beach, NY, to [redacted] Long Beach Rd, Island Park, NY, with a 7:25-7:35 am pickup time. I was surprised to see on the Uber app that the ride was allegedly canceled, even though I did not cancel it. The app showed a different pickup and drop-off location. I was charged $11.09 for this cancellation, which I did not initiate. I am seeking a refund and want to report the driver who falsely claimed to have arrived at my location. This is not an isolated incident as I have heard similar stories from other dissatisfied customers. Failure to address this issue with a refund and investigation into the driver will lead me to escalate this matter further, potentially involving legal action. I am frustrated with constantly having to pay extra fees when drivers face issues with their vehicles. For instance, yesterday I waited for 30 minutes for a ride, only for the driver to cancel due to a punctured tire. This was the driver's problem, yet I am the one charged extra. Some drivers even demand additional money offline or refuse to proceed without a cash payment. Today, a driver never showed up or answered my calls, yet I was again charged an extra amount when he canceled. It feels like drivers can act as they please while we are left paying extra. Uber's policy in such situations is unfair and needs to change. I have raised multiple complaints about these issues, and it is frustrating to constantly be charged an additional 15 rupees due to driver problems.

My name is Andre. I am currently at Toyota of Rancho Santa Margarita in California getting my car serviced. Toyota arranged for an Uber to take me home, and the driver who arrived had a black Toyota Corolla with license plate 9BDG160. The driver, named Guadalupe, had a very dirty car that appeared to have been vomited in. When I mentioned it to her, she asked me to get out. I requested another Uber, but she called the police instead. Eventually, she left after the officer advised her to call another driver. I am disappointed in this experience. Last March, my wife was unwell, and we needed transportation from the airport to Dana-Farber Hospital in Boston. The drivers provided excellent service at a reasonable cost for the two-day trip. I reside in Maine and own three vehicles. In April, a $9.99 charge from Uber Help appeared on my account while I was playing golf in Hermon, Maine. I never requested help from Uber. Despite disputing the charge, it continues to be billed monthly. I have changed my credit cards, disputed the charges, and even cancelled my account. Yet, the $9.99 charge persists even after cancellation. I refuse to pay for a service I never received. I have locked my credit card and have a new one on the way. I will not use Uber again due to these unwarranted and persisting charges.

Hi, I recently took an Uber ride in an auto rickshaw in Hyderabad. Initially, I thought I would pay in cash as I wasn't prompted for any alternative payment method. The fare shown to me was Rs.[redacted], which I paid to the driver. However, upon receiving the receipt via email, I noticed an additional charge of Rs.[redacted].04 on my MasterCard ending in [redacted]. I did not see an option to explain this issue, so I selected 'paid extra cash of Rs. [redacted]' in the Help section. I never intended to use my MasterCard for this transaction and it may have expired by now. Therefore, I kindly request for the Rs.[redacted].04 charged to my MasterCard to be reversed. I attempted to book a ride from Sapoorji Palonji to Behala bus stop. The driver demanded an additional Rs [redacted].00 on top of the fare and threatened to cancel the ride when questioned. I have previously paid extra upon driver's request, but Rs [redacted].00 seemed excessive. The driver insisted I cancel the ride or file a complaint when asked to justify the charge. The driver is holding the ride hostage and preventing me from making further bookings. This situation is distressing and has been ongoing for more than 25 minutes. This type of treatment towards customers is unacceptable. In the past, I had to pay twice for the same ride due to an app error, and now I am facing this issue with the current driver.

Hello, I'm Breanna Lewis. I used the Uber Eats app tonight for the first time to order food. I was supposed to get a $25 discount with a promotional code and a $15 first order discount, but none applied to my order. I ended up spending nearly $40. As a reliable delivery person, I expect better treatment. I had multiple issues contacting Uber Support yesterday and faced unhelpful responses. It's unfair that my discounts weren't applied, and I hope this can be resolved.

On the evening of 4th July [redacted] around 7:30pm, I booked an Uber ride from Alshayanagar to Rumi restaurant in Indiranagar, Bangalore. The journey lasted 1 hour and 5 minutes, ending at 8:35pm. Upon realizing I left my wallet in the backseat, I tried contacting the driver through the app but was unsuccessful. After being informed by HSBC that someone found my wallet, I was able to retrieve it minus the cash. The person who found it mentioned the money was missing but all cards and IDs were there. It seems the Uber driver took the cash and discarded the wallet. I am seeking assistance to report the driver's unprofessional behavior and potentially seek compensation from Uber.

I reserved a cab on 05.07.22 at 7:30 am from Orange Corner BB Rd near HRV Hospital in Bangalore to Kempegowda Airport, Bangalore with my mobile number [redacted]. After receiving a call from the driver asking me to cancel, I declined. However, he canceled the booking himself. Subsequently, another cab with Reg No. KA04AC3776 driven by Ashok Reddy arrived, but he also insisted on canceling the booking. Out of necessity and due to time constraints for our flight, we agreed to cancel despite the drivers' behavior. I want to report the harassment faced by customers from these drivers. I haven't spoken to a representative yet regarding an issue with a charge for a cancellation. The pickup was on July 2nd at 8:45, canceled at 1:39 a.m. on July 3rd, and the vendor confirmed the order was accepted and delivered but not paid for. There was a charge of $23 for the canceled order, causing frustration for both myself and the vendor. I'd like the refund of $36.43, the amount taken from my account, returned promptly to my Uber Cash. I want these transactions corrected as they have caused distress to the vendors involved. My card was stolen by someone I trusted, and they used it to take unauthorized Uber rides. Despite me not using Uber, I started getting notifications about trips I didn't approve. The thief, who happens to be a close friend, even asked me for money to cover an Uber ride after stealing my Cashapp debit card. Thankfully, Uber blocked the additional rides due to the card being locked, and Cashapp alerted me about the fraudulent charges. I want a refund for the $15.94 wrongly taken from me. The unauthorized Uber rides were taken from either [redacted] or [redacted] Greene Street, Philadelphia, PA [redacted], on July 7, [redacted], at 4:46 pm. Cashapp prevented the second ride at 9:20 pm when I noticed the fraudulent activity. Now, the person who stole my card is threatening me over the charges.

Hello, Today, I attempted to book Uber Go three times for my octogenarian father who needed to travel urgently. Unfortunately, I faced multiple issues as the drivers were near the pickup location but did not respond. Despite attempting to call, the lines were constantly busy. When I texted the drivers, only two replied, stating they would be late by 30 minutes, while the others did not respond at all. Eventually, my father had to walk to find an alternative taxi after waiting for an extended period. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided. I prepaid $[redacted] for a ride which was deducted from my account. A month later, an additional $[redacted] was taken out without my authorization. I verified and confirmed that the total charge was $[redacted] before the initial transaction. I have been a loyal customer and continued to use your service regularly. However, this unexpected charge has caused financial strain, especially as I rely on your service for important situations such as civil standby with a police escort due to my epilepsy. I am a frustrated client in Monterrey, Mexico. The Uber drivers frequently cancel pick-ups and deliveries, making the service terrible. In the past, the service was great, but it has become terrible in recent years. There seems to be very little oversight, with issues like malfunctioning lights on cars and dangerous drivers. When ordering food, drivers often cancel while en route, possibly to steal and resell the food. I've experienced 3 cancellations today and have been waiting for a car for 35 minutes with a 14-minute wait time initially. It's crucial to have a competent person managing the Monterrey, Mexico operation who cares and can handle these drivers effectively.

On Friday, July 7, [redacted], an Uber driver arrived at my location and, despite my clear instructions, insisted on going to a different level. After some confusion, the driver canceled the ride, leaving me with a $5.50 charge. I intend to dispute this charge. Today, I also had issues with another Uber ride. The driver named Karingus picked me up at 7:30 in a Kia Soul and charged me $28.94. Yesterday, on 11/7/22 at 7pm, I had booked a ride from Gulmohar Park to New Friends Colony. Unfortunately, the ride did not materialize, and despite 10 drivers canceling, no one came to pick me up until 7:45. Stranded in the hot and humid weather, I had to walk to the main road and find alternative transportation as I urgently needed to reach my destination. This was the worst experience I've had with Uber. Even after I canceled the ride after 46 minutes, a driver named Dharmender showed up. I felt let down by the behavior of the Uber drivers, with 9 of them being rude enough to cancel on me. I am displeased with this service and do not intend to use Uber in the future. To add to my frustration, I've been asked to pay Rs. 26 as a cancellation fee. Please review my booking records to understand why this happened and why I had to endure such a troublesome experience with your drivers.
