Hello, my name is Juan G Pagan. I wanted to share my recent Uber experience. Despite a surge fee, I still graciously tipped 20% to my driver, Mohammad, who provided a good service. However, there was a mishap with the tip amount. I initially chose to tip $6.79, but somehow an email confirmed a tip of $13.58, which was twice the intended amount. I would like the tip adjusted to $6.79 as intended. The in-app help feature was not useful in resolving this issue. My trip total was $47.53, but I believe the correct amount should be $40.74. I used Apple Pay ending in [redacted]. I appreciate your assistance in correcting this. Thank you.

I have previously contacted you regarding two unauthorized Uber Eats charges on my debit card, but I have not received a response. Despite canceling my debit card, the charges remain on my account. These charges, for $55.76 and $8.74, were made on the same day. I am dismayed by the lack of communication and would appreciate it if you could reach out to me to address this issue promptly. I placed an order through East Coast Wings for delivery via UberEats at 2:30pm on March 28. Unfortunately, I never received my food and was informed that the delivery had been canceled. After waiting over two hours, I contacted the restaurant who advised me to reach out to Uber directly. Despite my attempts to contact Uber's customer service, I did not receive a response. Frustrated by the lack of assistance, I visited the restaurant only to be told that I needed to resolve the issue with Uber to receive a refund. The $43 order was picked up by two different drivers who canceled the delivery. I am very displeased with this poor service and disregard for me as a customer. I am requesting a full refund for this order.

I recently had my first Uber order, and unfortunately, it was not a pleasant experience that I wish to repeat. I ordered fish and chips from a local merchant, expecting a quick delivery. However, after 10-15 minutes passed without any communication, I found the order left on my doorstep, resulting in soggy and cold food. Additionally, I received two emails regarding charges, one indicating a hold on payment and another with the final charge, including an unauthorized 20% tip. I believe tipping should be at my discretion, and I was disappointed that this decision was made for me. Overall, this experience has left me dissatisfied and reluctant to use Uber again.

I accidentally left my phone in a driver's vehicle. I contacted the driver to arrange a meeting to retrieve it. However, upon meeting, he demanded $40 for the phone, creating a scene at a children's play center. I reluctantly agreed to pay. When he returned later, he became aggressive and asked for $[redacted] instead. I explained I could pay through Cash App or Venmo but didn't have cash on me. He got angrier and started to leave with my phone. As I mentioned calling the police, he sped off, making rude gestures. The situation was tense and unsettling, leaving me and my daughter stranded.

On April 2, [redacted], we booked a ride to the train station. Shortly into the journey, we inquired with the driver about the total cost to take us directly to our final destination. The driver informed us it would be 30.00 euros in total. However, we were charged 77.88 euros initially and an additional 9.00 euros. We are currently disputing these charges and have checked on Uber, where the cost for the same destination was showing as 25.00 euros. We kindly request prompt assistance as we are in the process of disputing these charges with our bank. Please investigate and provide us with the details.

Yesterday, I used Uber for the first time. The rider arrived late, and when he did, he stopped the car after just 7 to 8 minutes, claiming a surcharge due to a supposed strike in the area. He demanded Rs. 10,[redacted] for the ride and insisted I pay him Rs. 3,[redacted] immediately, promising I could later be reimbursed for the rest. The Uber app displayed a fare of Rs. [redacted], but he charged me Rs. 4,[redacted] before leaving. I have submitted around 7 to 8 complaints regarding this issue, but as of yet, no one has responded. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service and demand a refund. Additionally, I request the removal of the dishonest rider who took advantage of me. The lack of response to my complaints is unacceptable, and I urge Uber to improve its customer service promptly.

I requested a ride for 3:00 pm on April 4th, [redacted], and the driver arrived promptly. My destination was [redacted] S Third St. in Columbus, Ohio. Unfortunately, the driver relied solely on his GPS for directions and mistakenly took me to the wrong location. Despite my attempts to correct him, he persisted and even stopped to ask for directions, which confirmed we were off course. The driver, who mentioned he had only been with Uber for 3 months, was uncooperative and argued about the GPS accuracy. I felt unsafe as he drove recklessly and failed to reach my important appointment. I believe this driver needs further training or should be let go. I am requesting a refund for this disappointing experience.

This morning, I scheduled a cab to take me to the station. Unfortunately, the driver refused to drop me off because of my luggage. I believe this was very unreasonable as my destination was not a fashion show. Additionally, I was charged cancellation fees. I request the removal of these charges as it was not my fault. I had a disappointing Uber ride today at around 11 a.m. from Orchid Gardens in Sector 54, Gurgaon to Damdama Saab Gurudwara in Delhi. Unfortunately, the cab I took didn't have a working AC, and it was quite filthy with a UP license plate. The driver, Manoj, only drove about 20 kilometers before I had to end the trip because he wouldn't take us back. To avoid any confrontation, I paid him [redacted] rupees.

I need to obtain past receipts for reimbursement purposes from my previous rides. Is there an alternative method to retrieve this information since I can't access my account? I placed an order yesterday for two packages of bacon egg bites, a tall Pikes Peak coffee with two Splenda, heavy cream to make it caramel colored, and two servings of peppermint flavoring to be delivered today between 7-7:30. However, there were issues with the delivery. I received multiple notifications about different drivers waiting for the order, and later found out the order was cancelled. When I tried to reorder, I discovered all my billing accounts were closed. Despite having enough funds, I couldn't add new billing information due to processing errors. I reached out to my bank and credit card company, with no payment issues reported except for Uber Eats. This experience has been distressing, and I am contemplating ending my business with Uber and Uber Eats. For the trouble, I request the same order delivered by 7 am on Thursday and Saturday, as I have dialysis appointments those days. Today was supposed to be a trial run, but it hasn't been successful.

I was charged cancellation fees twice. The first time, my app indicated the trip was canceled due to the driver waiting 8 minutes. However, I was at the pick-up point and loading luggage into the cab, which caused a delay. I saw the trip was canceled on the app while still present. To proceed, I had to book another trip, and when the second driver arrived, I had to cancel due to my luggage being in the first taxi. I am puzzled about why the initial booking was canceled, leading to additional costs of £8.52 and £6.72 for the subsequent cancellations.

I have experienced repeated unauthorized charges on my Mastercard for Uber services on numerous occasions over the past year. These charges occurred on June 2, [redacted], June 20, [redacted], September 26, [redacted], November 12, [redacted], and March 19, [redacted]. Despite disputing these charges and closing my Mastercard account multiple times, the fraudulent activity persists. I am puzzled as to how my new account details are continuously compromised for these transactions, especially since I have not shared this information and my cards have remained in my possession. While I have implemented security measures on my online account, the issue persists. Any assistance in investigating and resolving this matter, particularly considering the consistent association of these fraudulent charges with Uber services, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I took an Uber moto ride on 13/4/[redacted]. The driver, SOURADIPTA, arrived in a Honda CB Shine and proceeded to take me on a different route than expected. Despite my concerns about the wrong route, he did not listen and instead drove me to an unfamiliar location where he ran out of petrol, leaving me stranded. He then demanded payment even though I was far from my destination or the pick-up point. As a sick individual, his lack of empathy was distressing, and when I refused to pay, he behaved unprofessionally. This experience was extremely distressing, and I have already filed a complaint through the Uber app without any response. It took me nearly 2 hours to find my way back, causing further distress to me and my family. I am deeply disappointed in Uber and request swift action against the driver, or I will escalate the matter. Your prompt attention to this issue is greatly appreciated.

I had previously mentioned a discount ratio of 1:3, but it was a typo error, and this SMS is crucial. I followed the SMS instructions and deposited tk.20,[redacted] as requested. However, the Uber Bangladesh team unexpectedly requested additional money, leading to my Uber fleet account being inactive for the past eight days. I require a clear explanation for this situation. According to the Bangladesh Constitution under Cr PC [redacted]/[redacted], this is a serious criminal offense. Section 19 of the Evidence Act allows me to seek compensation. I trust that Uber USA will conduct a thorough investigation and take appropriate action. I have made several payments under account no: +88 [redacted]4, which I have evidence of. It seems like a deliberate action on their part. I am seeking assistance to stop the recurring charge of $9.99 from "UBER PENDING SAN FRANCISCOCA". I believe I unintentionally enrolled in a service during the heightened delivery demands of the pandemic. Due to a recent move, I have not received paper statements, making it hard to monitor these charges. Despite not using the service, I have been continuously billed without a way to contact Uber for resolution. I booked an Uber ride with my two children and spouse on the afternoon of April 16, [redacted], from Kalyani Veg to Oxy Valley Phase 2 in Wagholi, Pune, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. After traveling about 5 kilometers, the driver suddenly started yelling at my 6-year-old child, accusing him of tearing a thin plastic covering on the window glass. When my wife objected, the driver began to mistreat her, despite her efforts to defuse the situation. The driver demanded money and asked us to exit the ride. When we left, his behavior escalated to the point where he verbally abused me and even attempted to physically assault me with a sugarcane rod. Fortunately, bystanders intervened and prevented any further violence. We eventually paid the fare, left the ride, and took an autorickshaw home. This traumatic incident has greatly affected my children, leaving them frightened and shaken.
