I was charged $7.95 for canceling a trip, which I did not do. The driver canceled the trip when I briefly went back inside from Kaiser Permanente. I informed the driver I just needed a minute to grab my things. Upon returning, about one to two minutes later, he refused to take me, canceling the trip. I then re-requested a ride, and Maria picked me up in 4 minutes. She suggested I report the previous driver's behavior. Additionally, there is an unexplained $5.00 charge on my credit card that I would like refunded. My bank flagged the charges as multiple $18 charges, causing them to decline initially. Please credit my Visa for both the $7.95 and $5.00 charges.

Dear Team, I am writing to address an issue I had with Uber regarding a trip on 02nd October [redacted] from Sarjapur Main Road to Bangalore International Airport. The driver took a longer route, which resulted in a fare of Rs.[redacted], significantly higher than the usual Rs.[redacted] I pay for this trip as a frequent flyer. I received a response from Mr. John G at Uber stating that the fare was within the estimated cost. However, upon my recent trip on 10th October [redacted], I paid only Rs.[redacted] for the same route, contradicting the previous fare of Rs.[redacted]. I am disappointed with the unjustified response from Mr. John G and feel let down by Uber's handling of my complaint. I urge Uber to investigate the discrepancy between the routes taken on these dates. If not addressed, I may have to share my invoice comparisons on social media. I hope for a fair resolution to this matter promptly. Best Regards, Zubin P.

Subject: Complaint regarding Uber Driver Dear Uber Team, I am writing to express my concern about an unsafe driver displaying an Uber sticker on their vehicle. Despite not having an Uber account, I strive to report this incident for the safety of others. My previous rides with Uber were arranged and paid for by a friend. During a recent incident on the 5 freeway at Alicia heading north, a reckless blond woman driving a Subaru with license plate 8EFH302 dangerously cut into my lane at the last minute, nearly causing a collision. I have video evidence of this incident which I find troubling. I urge Uber to investigate this matter seriously as the driver's actions were concerning and not in line with your company's standards. I am considering escalating this issue to consumer affairs if necessary. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Rae

During my recent trip, I encountered an Uber driver named Mukesh who cancelled on me twice in a row. Each time I specified my destination, he would cancel the ride. After waiting for 16 minutes, he cancelled again. When I rebooked, Mukesh accepted the ride but then angrily called to inquire about the location, and proceeded to use abusive language towards me for rebooking with him. Despite this, he cancelled the ride once more. This situation caused me to waste 30 minutes dealing with Uber and miss my appointment with the doctor. I am disappointed by Mukesh's unprofessional behavior. He not only spoke rudely but also cancelled the rides after knowing the destination. I request appropriate action to be taken in response to this issue.

I am facing a real emergency as I left my phone in my Uber ride a week ago. I have been unable to contact anyone since then. I am unable to log into any of my accounts, including my email, Facebook, and my rental program. I recently realized that the phone number associated with my email was changed, preventing me from accessing important information. It seems the driver who found my phone made this change. Unfortunately, without access to my accounts, including the Uber account under Kennedy Griffiths and the email [redacted], I am unable to reach out to the driver. I had to create a new Uber account, but I am still in need of assistance. If anyone can help, please contact me at [redacted].

Today, I booked an Uber ride from Los Angeles Airport (LAX) to Century Park Hotel. When the driver took me to the wrong address listed by the Uber app, I realized it was incorrect. Even though I tried to clarify the destination, the driver insisted it was correct and drove off. Eventually, I had to request a second Uber to the correct location. I strongly believe I should not be charged for the first incorrect ride and hope Uber can rectify this issue promptly. Additionally, it would be beneficial for drivers to double-check with passengers to ensure accuracy in the future. I've encountered difficulties trying to contact Uber through the app and website, which has been frustrating after the inconvenience and extra expenses incurred.

I am attempting to reserve an economy car from Philadelphia Airport to the Gibbon Building at [redacted] So. 11th Street in Philadelphia. However, when I try to make the booking on my computer, I keep encountering an error message that redirects me to the Uber app. Even when I schedule the trip in advance on the app, I am only offered the premium option. I am puzzled as to why I am being forced to pay the higher price for a premium car when I would prefer the more affordable UberX at $31 rather than the Uber Black option at $83.

Hello, I made a cab booking on October 15, [redacted], to go to Kalupur Railway Station. The ride initially showed [redacted] rupees, then suddenly changed to [redacted] rupees before I confirmed it. The driver arrived more than 15 minutes late. Upon reaching, he refused to come near my home, which was only 20 feet away. We had to walk to where he was parked and requested him to enter our society, wasting more time. I had a train to catch at 3:25 pm, and it was already 1:45 pm with over 20 km to cover. The driver was uncooperative, only allowing one piece of luggage, and was extremely rude, shouting and using inappropriate language, causing distress to my senior citizen husband and me. He ultimately canceled the trip, claiming it was canceled by me, and demanded extra payment. This behavior is not isolated, as my son-in-law also encountered similar issues. I have decided to delete the Uber app for good and share my negative experience widely. I hope Uber can ensure their drivers behave professionally to prevent others from going through what we experienced. Thank you, Shobhana Pillai.

Hello, on Wednesday, October 13th, I arranged a ride with a driver from 32 Banks Ave in Asheville. The driver wore a baseball cap, a hoodie, and a mask but seemed unfamiliar with the area when I asked about the destination. Despite the short distance to the Hampton Inn, the driver did not communicate this clearly. Concerned about the situation, we chose to exit the ride. The driver later left a review mentioning us not wearing masks, which were being held in our hands as we bid farewell to friends. I am requesting a refund for this brief journey and I want to recognize our positive experience with another driver, Jackson, who provided a great service in a subsequent ride.

After spending nearly four weeks in the hospital, I returned home to find my house broken into. Among the items stolen were personal belongings and electronics. To add to the distress, there have been multiple unauthorized charges on my card, mainly from Lyft and Uber Eats. I have already sorted out the Lyft charges but need assistance with the Uber Eats charges starting from October 14th. There are five suspicious charges on my account: $20.96, $9.95, $4.27, $19.47, and $22.84. I am unsure of the process to dispute these charges and retrieve my funds. The situation is overwhelming, especially after my recent hospitalization and the theft of various belongings. I have already taken steps like requesting a new debit card, but I am eager to address and resolve these fraudulent charges promptly. Thank you for your help.

I am requesting a refund of over $6 as a first step. My recent experience with Uber involved a scheduled trip that never transpired, leading to confusion. I am baffled by the notion of cancelling a service that never took place. This was my initial encounter with Uber, and despite my compliance with the instructions, the lack of information on their end resulted in the trip not materializing, causing me to miss a crucial medical appointment I had been waiting for. Uber inexplicably charged me over $5 for a trip that never occurred and labeled it as canceled. During my online chat to resolve the issue, I found myself unexpectedly connected with a lawyer without any prior request or consent, which left me perplexed about the legitimacy or resolution of the situation. I was also charged $1 for a service that was never provided, and the conversation ended abruptly. I demand a refund of over $6, an apology for the inconvenience caused, and urge Uber to review its questionable and misrepresented policies.

I currently do not have an Uber account, but I used to drive for them. I do not have any Uber ride or Uber Eats apps on my phone. Since September 27, [redacted], someone has fraudulently used my Navy Federal Visa Debit card ending in *[redacted] with an expiration date of 06/22. The card is under Amanda N. Palmer with the zip code [redacted], and unauthorized transactions on Uber Eats and rides have amounted to over $1,[redacted]. I have reported this to my bank and the card is now disabled. I am seeking information from Uber regarding the transactions, such as the cities and states they occurred in, and any names associated with the orders. This will help me determine if the fraudster is someone known to me. I would like to sever ties with anyone involved in this theft. I called customer support but was informed that help for Uber rides or Uber Eats is not available over the phone currently. Thank you for your assistance.

Since July 3rd to October 8th, there have been unauthorized charges totaling $[redacted] on my bank account for Uber rides and Uber Eats orders. Despite having access to our accounts, I cannot locate any records of these transactions. Upon reviewing our emails, I only found receipts for rides and orders we did make. It seems someone may have gained access to our card information and used it for unauthorized Uber expenses. I recently discovered the latest charge was for an Uber ride we didn't take. I am looking to track down the unauthorized transactions associated with my credit card to understand the extent of the issue and seek a refund for these unauthorized charges.

Good morning, I'm Eddie Hooper. I have been driving for Uber for a short period of time. Recently, I was involved in an accident in my [redacted] Camry. I was using the app on my way home, intending to pick up a delivery when the accident happened. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but my car is now unable to be driven. Unfortunately, both my personal insurance with Farmers and the insurance through Uber with Progressive are not covering the damages to my vehicle due to ride-sharing loopholes. Progressive insurance offered to fix the property that was damaged, but they won't cover my car even though I was logged into the app. This situation has left me without the means to get my car repaired or to afford a rental. I am reaching out for assistance as I rely on my vehicle for Uber driving, which I enjoy doing to help others. Your help is greatly appreciated as I want to continue driving for Uber. Thank you.

I've been driving for Uber for a few years now. Recently, I had a troubling experience with a passenger. She initially asked for a pick-up at the bus station, then suddenly changed the location to Wells Fargo in a poorly lit area at night. Concerned for my safety as a female driver, I parked near the ATM where there were cameras and ample lighting. Despite this, she was upset, claiming I ignored her calls and wasted her time at the ATM. She proceeded to insult me and demanded I take her home. Realizing the situation was escalating, I calmly asked her to leave the car and find another Uber. She threatened to report me for being under the influence, causing me great distress. Uber assured me they wouldn't pair us again. However, I was shocked to find my account on hold due to her actions. I felt genuinely scared during this encounter. I hope Uber will take appropriate action against her behavior and provide support for drivers facing similar situations. I am considering legal action for the defamation, loss of income, and damage to my car. Kindly get in touch with me promptly. Thank you. - S.D. Bearden

Today, I had two frustrating experiences with Uber rides. On both occasions, I waited for the drivers, messaged them, and they replied with a simple "No" without any explanation. I had to cancel the rides, incurring a Rs 20 cancellation fee each time. The second time, I had to ask a friend to book me a ride to avoid the cancellation fee. Despite this, I was charged a second cancellation fee when I booked another ride after a long wait. I believe these fees should be refunded, as I was not at fault. I hope for a fair resolution to this issue as a loyal customer. Thank you.

On Saturday, October 16th, [redacted], I had a trip scheduled to leave the country for my wedding. Unfortunately, when the Uber driver arrived at my home to take me to Reagan International Airport, he left my laptop bag on my lawn and drove off while I was retrieving my carry-on, causing me to miss my flight. I had to spend $[redacted] to reschedule my flight due to this incident. The situation also led to rescheduling my wedding, which was very distressing. I have travel insurance, but the cost for the replacement flight was $[redacted], which was the most affordable option provided by my travel agent. I am hoping for a resolution and assistance regarding this unacceptable mishap.

On October 20, [redacted], I booked a ride to my doctor's office at [redacted] Skyline Village Loop SE, Salem, OR, and everything went smoothly. Later, I requested another ride back home, but there were issues. The driver, Albert, called to confirm the appointment, which I did not have. He then informed me of a 25-minute delay from a previous ride. He later called asking for my location, but there was confusion, and my pick-up address was incorrect. My destination was [redacted] Gregory Ln SE, Salem, OR [redacted]. Despite the confusion, Albert was polite throughout. The pickup address mix-up can be confirmed by the doctor's office staff and patients present. Please issue an immediate refund to my credit card. Thank you. Brenda P. at [redacted]
