I have a pressing issue related to an incident with an UberEats delivery driver last night. The driver recklessly backed into my car causing a severe dent while attempting to locate the delivery address. Instead of offering assistance, the driver shared only her name, phone number, then promptly left the scene. I urgently require access to the driver's license plate information, as we are escalating the matter by filing a police report. Despite multiple voicemails and texts to her still active phone, there has been no response from her. The driver, Tracey from Woodbury, Connecticut, can be reached at [redacted]. Around 12:15-12:30 am, after crashing into the car, delivering my roommate JJ's order, and abruptly departing before my return, the driver displayed impaired behavior. Navigating the aftermath of this incident four days after receiving my car is distressing. It is unjust for me and the involved parties to endure the consequences of the driver's hit-and-run actions. I recently ordered an Uber and encountered issues with the driver, Jose, who mistakenly went to the wrong address. He was at [redacted] Cheshire Drive instead of my location at [redacted] Hundred Oaks Drive in Clarksville, Tennessee. Jose was rude, argumentative, and eventually canceled the ride when I questioned the address. After his behavior, I had to order another Uber to reach my destination on Maya Drive in Madison, Tennessee. I noticed a charge of $6.76 on my husband's card ending in [redacted] for the failed ride. I was not pleased with Jose's conduct as he did not listen to me and hung up abruptly. The second driver was able to find me without any issues. To whom it may concern, I am writing to file a complaint about my morning ride. I booked an UberX at 9:30 am with an estimated arrival time at my destination of 9:51 am. However, the driver assigned to me was 25 minutes away from my location. This delay caused me to arrive late at my destination, and I was charged $18 for the ride. I am confused as to why the app would provide an estimated drop off time but then assign a driver who is significantly far away. I am requesting a refund for the fare. Thank you.

I'm experiencing various issues with my Uber account. I attempted to update my expired credit card, but encountered repeated errors when trying different cards. I mistakenly invited my mom to share a ride, which resulted in her removal and my subsequent deletion from that arrangement. Despite trying to reconnect to my original account using my phone number, I received an error message stating it was linked to another account. Additionally, when attempting to create a new account via Facebook, it claimed my phone number was invalid. These difficulties seem to stem from a past fraudulent charge on my credit card with Uber Eats. Even though I resolved the issue, it appears Uber has restricted my account as a result. My email has been hacked by an unknown party using the company's name. Uber does not have a direct customer service phone number, so I had to search for solutions on their website and other resources like GetHuman. I have tried contacting Uber's help center but haven't resolved the issue yet. Steps to take before reaching out to Uber include having your email address, phone number, and full name ready. If dealing with a password problem, you can attempt to reset it through the "Forgot Password" option on the login page. The problem needs to be fixed, and once resolved, it's essential to share the solution with other customers who might be facing similar issues.

On July 27th, as I was heading to pick up a rider, I went through a puddle and damaged the splash guard on my car. After completing the ride, I informed UBER about the incident. I then got the part replaced at the dealership. When I reached out to Uber about potential assistance with the repair costs, I was informed that I am responsible for the full amount. Furthermore, I have been suspended until I provide documentation of the repairs. Even though I sent photos showing the car was repaired and work order copies indicating the fixes were done, Uber is now requesting a letter from the dealership confirming the repairs. The dealership has stated that the repair order should suffice, and they are unwilling to provide additional documentation. I am puzzled as to why I am still suspended despite the repairs being completed and Uber's reluctance to assist with the costs.

While living in Jordan, I've valued using Uber services. I recently bought $[redacted] in US Uber gift cards to avoid frequent charges on my credit card. However, upon returning to Jordan, I discovered the gift card credit is only usable in its country of issue. This limitation was not disclosed when I purchased them, and now I'm unable to access the $[redacted] credit. I've tried contacting Uber's support through the app with no satisfactory resolution. I'm disappointed by the lack of customer service and the inability to reach a real person. I'm seeking a refund for the unused credit or an alternative solution. To whom it may concern, I am very disappointed that I am unable to speak to a live Uber service representative. Despite not being a frequent Uber user, my recent 4 to 5 trips have left me with no other option than to reach out for assistance. The service quality has been poor, with a language barrier issue persisting. I am proficient in four different languages, yet none were utilized during these rides. I recently used an Uber on 8/14/21 to get to Firestone. However, the Honda Accord I rode in had a strong cigarette smoke smell, causing discomfort for myself and my sensitive friend, despite wearing a mask. The ride was also delayed as the driver took longer than expected to arrive at my pick-up location. I understand smoking is not allowed in Uber vehicles, so I was disappointed by this experience. I encountered a frustrating situation with my driver being 22 minutes late for my ride without any prior notice, causing me to miss an important appointment. I walked home after waiting for 22 minutes, and I am upset about being charged a nearly $10 cancellation fee for a ride I did not cancel. The driver purported to have arrived on the app, yet called me 22 minutes later asking for my location when I had already left. It was disappointing to see the lack of communication and unprofessionalism from the driver. Despite explaining the lateness, the driver insisted on the work situation without acknowledging the inconvenience caused. I'm currently at my business office using their computer and phone. I realized I left my cellphone in an Uber on my way to my lawyer's office a week ago. My computer and printer have been down for two weeks due to important legal matters, leaving me out of contact with my family who live far away. I urgently need a phone number before 5 PM CST when my lawyer closes to retrieve my phone from Uber, but the Uber app is on my phone. Could someone provide a contact number so I can get an Uber to pick me up from [redacted] Sunset Blvd. Apt.[redacted], a location that requires a security key for access? I am concerned about the discrepancy between the initial trip amount displayed in the app and the actual charge on my receipt for my recent Uber ride. The fare displayed was approximately $33, but I was billed $72 for a 10-minute journey. I had requested the driver to change the drop-off location back to the original pick-up point, a change that typically incurs a small additional fee of $4-5, not a substantial increase of $40 for a 20-minute round trip. This ride occurred on August 19, [redacted], at 5 am, during a time when fares were higher due to limited driver availability. However, the final charge of $72 for a short 6-7 mile trip appears excessive. I am requesting a refund of the $30 overcharge as this unexpected difference is quite unreasonable considering the circumstances.

I discovered two unauthorized charges on my credit card ending in [redacted] today at 6:10 a.m. in San Francisco. I have already reported the fraud to my credit card company. What worries me is that this is the second occurrence in a month, both involving Uber in San Francisco. One of the charges was around $[redacted], possibly identical to the previous one. I am concerned about the situation with Uber in San Francisco. Could you investigate if the same rider or driver was involved in both cases? If so, can that individual be reported to authorities and banned from using Uber? If they used my name, Carroll Oursler, it constitutes identity theft, and I wouldn't want to be associated with this. While my credit card company only cancels and reissues the card, I hope you can take additional actions to prevent a third unauthorized Uber charge in San Francisco. I've been billed $24.99 per month for 3 months for Uber Pass without my approval. I seldom use Uber and just discovered the charges while reviewing my Paypal and bank statements. I haven't signed up for any extra Uber services like Uber Eats. Given the current Covid situation, I wouldn't have subscribed to Uber Pass as I've only taken Uber three times in the last 9 months. My Uber account seems stuck processing another $24.99 payment, which I've instructed Paypal and my bank to block. I have no interest in Uber Pass and never requested it. Although I like Uber and intend to use it more as Covid restrictions lift, I won't do so until these charges are resolved and the "Please Pay" message disappears from my app's wallet.

Dear Uber Support, I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the Uber trip I took. The driver, driving a Jeep Cherokee with North Carolina License Plate number TBA [redacted], was 10 minutes late, and the car was dirty, reeking of smoke, with cigarettes all around, and filled with the driver's belongings. To make matters worse, upon arrival, the driver had no fuel and couldn't pay for it, causing me to be late for my flight. I had to cover the cost of fuel, attaching the receipt, and I request a full reimbursement of the $41.42 Uber fee. This experience has led me to decide not to use Uber again. Regards, B. I recently took an Uber ride that was not under my account. The Uber driver, Robert, license plate # PWH5533, left me at Walmart, which was not my intended destination. After a restroom break, I found he had left with my phone and bag of belongings, leaving me stranded. It took three hours to get a ride home after contacting the person who ordered the Uber for me. Sadly, I missed my daughter's first day of school due to this. My belongings have not been returned as promised, which is vital as I conduct business from my phone. The lack of resolution to this issue has been extremely distressing and disruptive to my life.

On August 23, [redacted] at 12:29 PM ET, a charge of $83.16 appeared on my credit card, which I did not authorize. The transaction appears to be unrelated to my Uber account. Currently, the charge is pending, so my credit card company is unable to treat it as fraud. However, once the pending status changes, I will report it as fraudulent. I wanted to inform you about this situation so that you can take necessary actions such as blacklisting the Uber account or pursuing legal measures. Your prompt intervention in cases of fraud can make a difference. It is possible that the individual responsible for this unauthorized charge may be using Uber services. On May 21st, I contacted what I believed was a tech support service I found on Google for YouTube. After providing my credit card information, the individual immediately started making unauthorized charges and took control of my computer. Despite assurances that everything was fine, I became alarmed when he accessed my bank account. My family urged me to shut down my computer. After contacting the number on the back of the card used, I was directed through three transfers before being informed that the responsibility was mine and that it was fraud. After closing the card, Chase moved the charges to another card, leading to months of disputes. I am seeking a refund for these fraudulent charges and urge Uber to investigate the destination of the cards as I never received them.

A few years back, I used to drive for Uber. Recently, I attempted to start again only to discover a $[redacted].00 negative balance on my account for a supposed device charge. I never had an Uber device, so I am baffled by this charge. Despite reaching out to Uber support multiple times, I have been met with unhelpful automated responses that fail to resolve the matter.

On 8/26, I booked a ride through the app and was initially charged $8 plus some cents. However, after the trip, I was charged around $25 due to a mix-up in the pickup location. The driver was directed to my destination instead of my actual pickup point, which is my home. He kindly called and picked me up from the correct place. Despite this issue, the rest of the trip was satisfactory. I am requesting a refund for the discrepancy between the two charges, or alternatively, a credit for any future rides I book through the app.
