On March 12, Wells Fargo Bank mistakenly declined my one-way Uber trip claiming I didn't have sufficient funds, but the fraud department rectified this by 5:29 PM on the same day. I had trouble contacting Uber despite having enough funds and faced issues with drivers accessing my location due to the complex blocking the access road. To solve this, I updated my address to [redacted] Killearn Center Blvd Unit B28 Tallahassee, FL [redacted]. I tried using a $50 Uber gift card for a short trip, but the declined issue seems to persist. Could you please verify and resolve any remaining "declined" connections? Thank you. Last night, I requested an Uber ride from the train station. The estimated arrival time was around 25 minutes, which seemed excessively long. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the app suddenly displayed 10 minutes remaining, which did not change for quite some time. I tried contacting the driver with no response, then the app assigned me to a new driver with an additional 25-minute wait. Frustrated, I decided to cancel the ride and asked a friend for a lift. However, I was charged $6 for the cancellation. I visited the Uber help page to resolve this issue because I never requested a new ride after the first one failed. Unfortunately, the website kept me from submitting the request to have the $6 charge removed.

My friend used her credit card to book an Uber ride for me from [redacted] Crowder Boulevard in New Orleans, Louisiana to [redacted] Chef Menteur Highway. The ride cost $14.99, but nobody showed up, so she tried to cancel. Unfortunately, she couldn't get a refund, and I had to pay for a ride I didn't even take. I waited over an hour for the Uber that was supposed to arrive in 5 minutes, but it never did, so I had to find another way home. I'm very dissatisfied with Uber's service, and I feel cheated. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this issue and getting my friend's money refunded. You can reach me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you for your help. - KJM

About 3 years ago, I installed Uber on my Android phone. During the setup, I inadvertently declined SMS messages. Subsequently, on my new phones, I am unable to complete the setup to book a ride. Despite entering my email and phone number, the app indicates an existing account linked to my email. Following instructions to text START to [redacted] has not resolved the issue. I would greatly appreciate if Uber could erase all data associated with my email for a fresh start.

I utilized the Firefox browser on my Windows 10 PC to book a trip. I successfully set up my account without issues. When trying to book a trip for tomorrow, I provided my home address, destination, and pickup time and then couldn't proceed any further as there was no option to continue. I had to cancel the session and make a phone call to arrange a cab. I switched to Chrome where it requested phone number verification via text, but being a landline user, I couldn't receive the text. This left me in a situation where I needed a ride quickly, which Uber couldn't accommodate. I hope the price I found on your website was advantageous. Please reach out via email at [redacted] if you think these issues can be resolved. Unfortunately, it's too late for this trip, but perhaps future trips can be smoother once the system glitches are fixed.

I had a concerning incident with an Uber driver driving a FIAT 500l with Kansas plate 960NET. He displayed aggressive road rage behavior towards me, following me into my neighborhood and making threats when I confronted him. The issue seemed to start when he cut me off while turning left onto Kellogg's westbound service road. As we continued driving, he made threatening gestures towards me. Even though I tried to address the situation, he persisted in threatening me, and at one point I noticed he had a pistol. This behavior is alarming, and I believe Uber should not allow armed drivers. I chose not to involve the police, but the encounter was distressing for me and the elderly occupants of a car he later bumped into. I decided to head home to avoid further confrontation.

Yesterday, at 1:30 PM, I requested an Uber from [redacted] W Thunderbird Rd, Sun City, AZ [redacted]. The app indicated my driver was 4 minutes away, but then the ride disappeared when it reached 1 minute. Shortly after, I was informed that "Benjamin" would arrive in 25 minutes. The ride scheduled for 1:40 PM did not show up until 2:05 PM. Unfortunately, the driver went to the wrong entrance due to the building having two entrances, causing a delay. After some coordination, I finally arrived home close to 2:30 PM. It was frustrating not receiving an explanation from Uber regarding the initial disappearance of the driver who was just a minute away.

Good morning, Since April 3, [redacted], I have been experiencing steep price increases when trying to book an Uber ride. I initially confirm the ride for $6.00-$12.00, but after a few minutes, I receive a message that no Ubers are available. When I retry, the price has escalated to $35.00-$47.00, sometimes within seconds. This sudden price surge is distressing, especially since Uber is my only means of transportation for my family's work commutes. I have spent over $[redacted].00 in a week's time, and this week alone, I have already spent nearly $90.00 for two days of one-way transportation. As a non-driver, this financial strain is significant, as I rely on Uber to get to work. Despite being a loyal platinum member with almost four years of tenure, the current pricing situation is untenable. I desperately seek clarity and a resolution as leaving Uber for another transportation service is not ideal but the escalating prices are becoming unaffordable. Thank you for your assistance.

Please help, I need assistance. This morning, I booked a cab with Uber for my grandmother under the name "Shift Dizaer UP 14HT [redacted]". The driver arrived for pickup but refused to drop us when I didn't give him extra cash for my bag, which I did not have. He left angrily. My family was with me, and I missed my 5 a.m. train as a result. Please, take action against the driver. Your urgent help is much needed.

This morning, I requested an Uber from Capitol Prep School to Portland to get to work by 8 a.m. Unfortunately, the driver headed elsewhere, and upon contacting him, he was uncooperative and threatened to cancel the ride. As he didn't arrive or cancel the trip himself, I had to cancel it to book another Uber promptly to reach work, resulting in a $6 charge. This marks the second time a driver has behaved this way towards me. On 3/26/21, a similar incident occurred when I requested a ride from Ellington to Hartford. I am a loyal customer feeling unfairly treated by these occurrences.

I recently used Uber for the first time and upon returning from my trip, I noticed three charges on my American Express that I would like to dispute. 1) On 4/2, there was a $6.25 charge for a canceled trip. I did not cancel the trip as the wrong driver showed up, failed to identify himself, and we only realized we were not the intended riders after the trip started. He must have canceled the other trip since we were already in the car. 2) There was a $30.87 charge on my Am Ex card from Uber that was not listed on our ride receipt, and I believe this is an incorrect charge. 3) Additionally, on 4/5, $24.99 was charged for an Uber Pass on my Am Ex card, but I did not sign up for this service. I am seeking a refund for each of these erroneous charges to my American Express credit card.

I arranged for my son to be picked up at Wharton County Jr College on 4/9/21. Unfortunately, the Uber driver canceled upon arrival. I tried to request another ride, but the subsequent drivers also canceled multiple times. Eventually, I had to pick up my son myself. It seems like the drivers could have been waiting at the wrong location, possibly at the UH building instead of the junior college. I noticed that I was charged cancellation fees for rides that were actually canceled by the drivers. I am requesting a refund of these fees since we did not cancel the trips ourselves.

I am Georgina Leon, a customer who requested an Uber on April 13th, only to have the trip canceled. The email I received stated that the $6.25 charge was to compensate the driver for waiting over 5 minutes at the pick-up point. However, the real reason for the cancellation was that the driver couldn't find the address. I provided the correct address through messages and even spoke to him on the phone. He claimed it was a difficult location, which is untrue as I have used Uber multiple times without any issues. I actually ended up waiting for 25 minutes, not 5 minutes, so I disagree with the charge. Could you please verify the address to see that it is simple? Thank you.

I am confused and frustrated about having to pay for a ride that took me to the wrong location. I work at Blaze Pizza on Sunset and Vine in North Hollywood, and I made sure to provide the correct address to the Uber driver. However, he ended up taking me to the wrong store in Burbank, causing me to be far from my actual job. This made me late and caused me to incur extra expenses to reach my destination. I believe I should not be responsible for the driver's mistake and would like a refund for the ride and the additional fare I had to pay. I do not want a coupon or a free ride, just my money back for the unpleasant experience that almost got me fired. I have tried contacting Uber with no success, so I hope someone can address this issue promptly.

Hello, I'm Nicole. I use Uber twice a day, five days a week to commute to work. Yesterday, I scheduled a ride for 12:30 am on Sunday, which was supposed to cost $19. Between 12:30 am and 1:30 am, three drivers - Nester, Hugo, and Manuel - canceled my pick-up, with only one showing up on my account. The pick-up address was unfamiliar and not one I had entered. Around 1:10 am, the app indicated no available drivers. Subsequently, I booked a ride for $37 due to surge pricing, although the regular fare was $19. Despite Uber's claim of no drivers, a driver arrived within five minutes. This experience left me feeling scammed, as I paid a higher price and experienced a delay after work. As a frequent Uber user, I am upset and frustrated. I seek reimbursement for the inconvenience encountered on the early morning of Sunday, April 18. Thank you.

My wife accidentally left her black North Face coat in an UBUR car in St. Louis, MO on Saturday, April 17, [redacted]. The car was requested and paid for by my son-in-law, Subbu Sarma. The car's ID is -KIA Sedona, and the Missouri license number is XF1V6T. We were picked up at the Weston Hotel at [redacted] Spruce St. and dropped off at Charlie Gitto's on the Hill in St. Louis, MO at 5:32 PM. We live in Joliet, IL and would gladly cover any expenses to have her coat returned to us. Thank you for your help in returning the coat.

I have continually noticed an unauthorized charge on my credit card bill for the Uber Eats Pass, which we never intentionally signed up for at $9.99 per month. The credit card company is currently investigating and blocked the charges. Consequently, they canceled my card, resulting in a week's wait for a new one. Numerous complaints online highlight similar issues with unauthorized Uber Eats Pass charges. It seems there may be fraudulent third parties or unclear opt-in processes used by Uber Eats Pass to enroll individuals without their knowledge. Despite the new card, Uber Eats managed to obtain my new card number from Visa, leading to the reappearance of the UE Pass charge on my latest credit card statement. Thankfully, my credit card company is still blocking the charge. Unfortunately, their dispute and fraud departments stated that I can only cancel the UE Pass by signing up and providing a new credit card number. This tactic appears deceptive. Is there a way to terminate the UE Pass subscription without risking additional charges? The current situation feels like a frustrating cycle without a clear resolution. Thank you for any assistance.

I was mistakenly charged twice for my Uber ride. I need assistance with this issue. The driver agreed to take me back to my location a short distance away, and I tipped her for the return trip. The airport was only partially into the journey when she charged me $44, even after stating it was no problem. This unexpected charge of $93 is causing family tensions, particularly with my daughter-in-law. It seems excessive for a trip to LaGuardia Airport under the circumstances of the situation. As I navigate helping my family during the challenges of Covid, I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. The Uber ride in question was from [redacted] McDonough to LaGuardia Airport at 12:30 pm on 4/23/21. You can reach me at jmf1492@[redacted].

I observed an unsettling incident involving an Uber pickup on Sunday, 4/26/21 at 4:15 pm at Papa Murphy’s Pizza located at [redacted] Centennial Center Blvd, Las Vegas, NV [redacted]. The rider, Kierra, using Antonio’s account, displayed reprehensible behavior towards the driver. The situation escalated with Kierra's boyfriend, Antonia, getting involved and causing further distress. Fortunately, the driver maintained composure and sought help by contacting the police. It is disappointing to witness such appalling conduct from a passenger, and I hope appropriate action is taken. I have footage of the incident and intend to share it with Papa Murphy Pizza's management to address the behavior of their employee. I have already informed Uber about this incident and trust that necessary measures will be implemented. Thank you. - Parking Lot Witness
