I had previously booked an Uber ride from Mumbai International Airport. The Uber driver called and declined to come, so I arranged a taxi and headed to my destination. Afterward, the Uber driver called me, inquiring about my location, but I had already arranged alternate transportation. He then persuaded me to cancel the ride, which I did. Now Uber is requesting a cancellation fee. Why should I be required to pay this fee unnecessarily? Regards.

This morning on January 23, [redacted], my friend booked a cab from Gurgaon Sector 17 Sukhrali to Hazrat Nizamudin Railway Station for an 8:15 am pick-up. When the cab driver arrived, he requested my friend's mobile phone to check the route. Unfortunately, due to the driver's navigation, my friend missed her train. Additionally, at the time of payment, the driver charged double the fare, asking for [redacted] instead of the agreed [redacted]. After contacting customer support regarding the missing phone, the driver denied having it, insisting he returned it. The support team's trust in their staff is questionable. Despite the phone's value of 17 thousand, the lack of response is frustrating. The company's service is deemed inadequate, especially since they do not provide the driver's contact information. While the driver eventually returned the phone to Uber's office, the mental distress, inconvenience, financial loss, and overcharge for the fare must be addressed. Legal action may be pursued against the company to seek appropriate compensation for the ordeal.

My name is Jaime P. and I encountered issues with Uber today. I had two successful rides in Los Angeles. The first ride cost $16 plus tip, and the second ride was $7. However, when I tried to return home from Auto Zone, I faced difficulties. The Uber driver refused to give me directions to meet him at Lexington Avenue, claiming I canceled the ride which I did not. There were unauthorized charges of 91 cents and $5. I then booked another Uber, but the driver never arrived, alleging I canceled as well. Frustrated, I called another Uber to the same spot at Highland Ave. I request a refund for these unjust charges and am disappointed by the drivers' behavior. Please contact me to resolve this issue at your earliest convenience. My cellphone number is [redacted].

I recently had a disappointing experience with an Uber driver. After booking a ride to Lucknow domestic airport, the driver arrived late and then refused to take me, citing potential traffic issues. Despite my pleas to go to the airport as planned, he left without offering any assistance. Fortunately, a friend on a bike helped me reach the airport on time without facing any traffic. The driver's behavior was rude and unacceptable, tarnishing Uber's reputation in India. I urge Uber to take appropriate action against this driver. Please contact me urgently at [redacted] before 8:30 PM as I am currently traveling and unable to take calls. The ride was booked using phone number [redacted]. Regards, Alok Kumar Yadav.

I used Uber for the fourth time yesterday, but I had a really upsetting experience during the ride. I paid $[redacted] for the trip and even gave a $20 tip in cash. Unfortunately, I was not taken to my destination and was left stranded. Moreover, some of my belongings were left in the car and are now missing. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could reach out to discuss this matter and hopefully find a resolution. You can contact me via phone at [redacted] or email me at [redacted] It is important to me to get this matter sorted out promptly. Thank you.

Subject: Recent Food Delivery Experience Hello, I wanted to share my recent experiences with food delivery services. Late last year, I tried using Ubereats to order from the Black Eye Pea in Arlington, Texas. Unfortunately, the driver faced difficulties, causing a delayed delivery of almost 2 hours, and my drink was missing. The quality of the food seemed compromised, which was disappointing. After this incident, I decided to close my Ubereats account, feeling dissatisfied with the service. However, my son suggested I should have reported the issue instead of simply letting it go. Last evening, my friend Kelsey Ray ordered from Spaghetti Warehouse through Ubereats. While I had hoped for food from Olive Garden, which was unavailable for delivery, the quality of the food received was not up to my expectations. Although food delivery is convenient, I believe it may just be a passing trend. Having a delivery person in each neighborhood could enhance the service's success. Despite my disability restricting my mobility, I find that going out to retrieve food is often a quicker and more reliable option for me. Best regards, Larry J. L. Sr.

I have been searching for the Uber customer service number that supposedly operates 24/7, but I cannot locate it. I received a refund onto my Uber card, but I am unable to transfer the funds back to my bank account. This situation is causing me additional problems. I kindly request that you return the money to its original source rather than keeping it. I am the one facing inconvenience in this circumstance. I want to discontinue using Uber as I am dissatisfied with the service. Please reach out to me promptly to facilitate the return of my funds. Once I receive the refund, I plan to delete my account and uninstall the app. Let's resolve this matter so we can move forward independently.

On Sunday, February 2nd at 7 p.m., I ordered a ride from a local store to my home. Unfortunately, the first driver that was assigned to me canceled the ride because it wasn't worth it for him. The second driver also seemed to have issues locating me, and I was eventually charged a cancellation fee. I had to resort to a more expensive ride option to finally get home. I've noticed that there were more available cars in the area once I selected the pricier choice. It's disheartening not to have access to shared rides when drivers find them not worthwhile. I would appreciate being refunded for the 45 minutes I waited, the price difference between the shared ride and regular fare, as well as any Uber credits associated with shared rides. The inability to contact customer support via chat or email has been frustrating. Additionally, I was informed that my 50% discount expired on February 3rd, but it dropped to 10% on the same day unexpectedly.

I accidentally left my wallet in the car and contacted the Uber driver, Kadeem, who drives a Nissan Altima with license plate HGM2902. He mentioned he just dropped off the next customer after me. When I reached out, he checked with the subsequent passenger, but my wallet wasn't found. Interestingly, the following passenger, Shawn, seemed suspicious as he repeatedly booked and canceled rides. Kadeem provided me with specifics about Shawn, who was picked up at Emerald St in Dallas, [redacted], and dropped off at [redacted] Harry Hines Blvd at Thrift Giant with his girlfriend in a pink dress.

I made a booking for a taxi from Terminal 2 Airport in Delhi and received confirmation. Upon waiting at the pick-up zone, the driver started the journey without me and then cancelled my trip when I contacted him. I was charged $[redacted].4 for a trip I did not take. It is disheartening that Uber lacks a customer service hotline. The reason provided for the cancellation does not align with my experience. Very disappointing. - SK

I noticed a charge on my card for a ride that didn't occur. The phone number was [redacted], and the card belonged to Kristopher V. that ended in [redacted]. I had to destroy that card. I'd like to be refunded via my checking account for the Uber transaction on Feb 3, [redacted], for $24.99. Kris, my son, should not have been charged for a ride that didn't happen. Kindly assist in fixing this error. I'm Kirk V., and I'll provide my bank details for the refund.

I recently had an unpleasant experience with an Uber driver. The driver did not have a Toll Tag needed for the route I selected, and was not driving the correct car as per the booking. He mentioned it was his wife's car and it was unclean. When I asked him to cancel due to the lack of a Toll Tag, he insisted I cancel instead. After some back and forth, he drove away without canceling. Upon requesting another ride, I was matched with the same driver who also refused to cancel. Two charges of approximately $5 each are pending for a ride on Monday, January 27, from [redacted] Bonnard Circle that I would like refunded. I am very disappointed with this experience and request that drivers with the necessary Toll Tags be assigned for future rides to avoid such situations.

Hello, I am Gayathri from Trivandrum. I regularly use Uber auto for my morning commute to my office located in Technopark. The building I work in is close to Technopark's back gate. The fare for traveling from my flat to the office through the back gate is Rs. 45, whereas through the front gate it's nearly Rs. 70. For the past week, the Uber map has been directing drivers through the front gate, resulting in fares ranging from Rs. 65 to Rs. 79, instead of the usual Rs. 45 via the back gate. I would like to request for the map to be corrected to show the route via the back gate to resolve this discrepancy. Thank you for addressing this matter.

I booked an Uber ride and encountered an issue at the hotel checkout. The driver left before I could board, resulting in a missed flight and a 6-hour delay. Uber refunded me, but the inconvenience cost me an extra $[redacted] and disrupted my entire day. The subsequent driver took me to the wrong airport location, further delaying me. I'm frustrated and exhausted, having been up since 3am and now not getting home until 8pm. I prefer a refund of $7+ to my credit card instead of a credit for future use.

Hello, I applied to drive for Uber before Christmas [redacted], completed the necessary safety checks, and submitted all required documents, all of which have been accepted. However, my account has indicated that it will notify me when I can begin accepting rides, which has been the status for over a month now. My sister, who drives for Uber in a different city, mentioned receiving an email link to initiate the background check process, but I have not received this email. I am seeking guidance on how to expedite my application process and start driving as soon as possible. Any assistance or suggestions would be welcome.

I am experiencing ongoing issues with setting up UPI payment on the app. Each time I try, it deducts Rs. 1 but does not link the payment method. Subsequently, I have had to rely on cash payments. Additionally, there are duplicate charges appearing, even when I have paid in cash. This creates confusion and frustration as the dues remain unpaid. It is challenging to resolve this matter as I am unable to communicate with a customer service representative. The repeated issues and inability to make online payments while traveling are concerning. If this matter is not addressed promptly, I may have to escalate it further.

I am facing multiple issues with Uber's payment system. When trying to switch my payment method during a ride, I encounter errors like "something went wrong." After paying cash to the driver, the app sometimes duplicates the payment and requests it again with delays, causing confusion. For example, it only shows the current ride's amount, not the total including previous rides' dues. This has led to me overpaying unknowingly for multiple rides recently. Moreover, drivers have been canceling after seeing my destination, wasting my time as I wait for another ride. Uber then charges me for these cancellations. I need a refund for all the duplicated payments and want Uber to address these issues promptly to avoid further inconvenience.

On February 4, [redacted] around 11:15 am, I requested an Uber driver to pick me up at [redacted] Arch St, Philadelphia, PA [redacted]. Unfortunately, the driver made a wrong turn and did not reach my location. Despite my request for a correction, the driver refused and I was charged a cancellation fee for a ride I did not cancel. In addition, the quoted fees for a shared ride between Honda, Essington, and [redacted] Arch differed from what I was charged. The app showed around $9.00 for the round trip, but I was actually charged approximately $12.95. Please review and rectify these payment discrepancies. Thank you. - Jen W.

I recently noticed unusual charges on my Eppi Card from New Jersey dating back to April [redacted], specifically related to Uber rides. Despite not using Uber or having their app, there were monthly charges adding up to $[redacted]. I reached out to Eppi Card's customer service and then their fraud department, who directed me to Uber for resolution. This incident has prompted me to close my old Eppi Card and get a replacement. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this matter and recover the funds. My name is Lori R. Gaffney from Mays Landing, New Jersey, and you can reach me at [redacted]. Your help in this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I had a disappointing experience with the driver named Dilkush Kumar. Despite sending messages asking him to come quickly due to my lateness, he did not reply. Upon calling him, he indicated he couldn't locate my location, leading to the cancellation of the trip. Even though the location was well-known in the city, he seemed unable to find it. When I mentioned filing a complaint, he reassigned my trip to another driver. However, the next driver also arrived late. This service standard is unacceptable.
