On 1/20/19, before 1:40 AM, I requested a ride from [redacted] Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, California to [redacted] South Clark Drive, Beverly Hills, California. The ride listed in "Your Trips" was a Honda CR-V with license plate 3TH8476, which only took me on a brief trip to Cynthia Street, charging $[redacted].65. However, this car never picked me up. After this, I requested another ride at 1:41 AM, and a Hyundai Elantra with license plate 7PEX959 picked me up at 1:42 AM and took me to South Clark Drive, charging $9.29. This ride did occur. There is a charge of $[redacted].85 related to a trip supposedly taken to [redacted] Mavin Dr, Santee at 1:40 AM, which I did not take. My records can confirm I have never been to Mavin Dr. or Santee. The only trip I have taken close to that amount is to Duarte, California, which is in the opposite direction. I have provided additional details, including a screenshot of the disputed charge for the 1:40 AM trip, which I did not take. I spoke to Graham Northwood from The Bayou at [redacted] Santa Monica Blvd while waiting for the initial car that did not pick me up. Please rectify this issue and restore my account promptly. Thank you. Gary M. Hopfmann

I am Meenakshi Kamath. Yesterday, I took an Uber Pool ride from Ashwini Layout, Bangalore to Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore. The fare came to ₹[redacted].78, which was paid via Paytm. Upon reaching the airport, the driver demanded ₹[redacted] in cash as the full payment instead of Paytm, causing me to pay twice – once through Paytm and then in cash. I did not receive a receipt for the cash payment, and an argument ensued. I noticed that ₹[redacted].70 was deducted from my Paytm account for the same trip despite already paying in cash. I am puzzled by this double deduction and seek urgent resolution. This issue has never occurred before. Thank you, M. Kamath.

Subject: Refund Request for Auto Cancellation This morning, on 29.04.[redacted], I, G.S., encountered an issue with an auto service. Despite waiting at the specified location, the auto driver mistakenly went elsewhere, causing the trip to be canceled automatically. Subsequently, I was charged Rs58, which included a Rs20 cancellation fee. This charge was unjustified as the cancellation was not initiated by me. When I rebooked the auto, it was the same driver who cited the incorrect location displayed on his device as the reason for the cancellation. I kindly request a refund of the Rs20 cancellation fee, as the error was on the part of the driver and not due to any action on my end. I trust this matter will be resolved promptly. Best regards, G.S.

Subject: Refund Request for Involuntary Cancellation Greetings, This morning, April 29, [redacted], I, G. Sivaraj, encountered an issue with an auto cab. Despite being at the pickup location at [redacted], First "A" Main Road, [redacted] SFS, waiting for five minutes, the auto driver mistakenly went to a different address. The driver kept promising to arrive but failed to do so, resulting in an automatic cancellation of the trip. I did not initiate this cancellation. Upon retrying, I boarded the same auto cab, and the driver explained that a discrepancy in the location information on the app caused the initial cancellation. The auto eventually dropped me off at 10th "A" Cross, Yelahanka New Town, and charged me Rs58. This total included an additional Rs20 cancellation fee on top of the actual fare of Rs37. I kindly request a refund of the Rs20 cancellation fee, as the cancellation occurred due to circumstances beyond my control. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Warm regards, G. Sivaraj

Today, I had booked an Uber premium cab from Sai Spring, Sector 35 G, Karghar Navi Mumbai to Swasthi Building, Santa Cruez West. Unfortunately, the driver did not show up at the pickup point, causing me to miss a job interview. The driver later cancelled the booking, and I had to book an Ola cab to reach my destination, resulting in a delay and wasted time. Additionally, I was charged Rs 78 unfairly for the cancelled ride. This incident has shaken my trust in Uber's service, and I am unable to pay this amount. I urge Uber to investigate this matter, hold the driver accountable for his unprofessional behavior, and uphold the reliability and efficiency of their service. Regards, A. V. Rajendran

I was quoted $47.73 for my ride, but my card was charged $51.73. There were no additional charges, so I am wondering why I was billed a different amount. I can be reached at [redacted] for an explanation or via email at [redacted]. I am requesting a refund of $4.00 to my credit card due to this unauthorized charge. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have to dispute it with my credit card company. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you.

I recently received a notice from Uber regarding alleged inappropriate behavior with a customer. It is important to note that I strictly follow the no-talking policy unless customers engage first. However, I had a strange incident where I was sent to pick up a passenger named Jennifer in Lockport, which led to confusion. Despite my attempts to contact her, nobody by that name was found at the address provided. This whole situation coincidentally aligns with an ongoing legal matter involving a person from Lockport. I did not interact with this individual during this incident. Prior to this, I have never encountered any issues with passengers. I kindly request further investigation into this matter to clarify any misunderstandings.

I bought an Uber gift card for my son at Walmart on April 27. When he tried to use it for a ride, it didn't work. Uber support mentioned a terms violation and suspended his account, even though he never used Uber before. Although there was a canceled ride in [redacted] due to no charge, they informed us of a mistake with the gift card and said they would restore the account, but it didn't happen. Confusing messages followed about suspension and restoration attempts, ending with a closure notice. I inquired about a refund, but they said no refund would be provided despite the $70 I loaded onto the card and my son not taking any rides. I find it unfair for Uber to keep the money without a proper explanation.

I exited the car on April 28th and discovered a syringe underneath me. The driver denied any knowledge of it. Fortunately, there was a cap on the syringe, preventing an injury. This incident has caused me emotional distress. I attempted to address this issue previously and would appreciate speaking with a customer service representative. I filmed the incident and the syringe for your review. I believe compensating me with a $[redacted].00 UBER gift certificate for future rides would be appropriate. Please contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] to address this health and safety concern promptly. Thank you, Curtis Taylor.

I have a promo code for a free ride but I'm unable to apply it. The system shows that a promo code has already been applied, although I only tried it twice. I followed the instructions to check the current promotions under the payments section, but no promotions were displayed. I attempted to apply the promo code again, but it still indicates that one is already applied. If I don't hear back soon, I'll proceed to request the ride and hope it recognizes my promo code. I'm reachable by email at ([redacted]) or phone at [redacted]. If I'm charged despite using a promo code and trying to reach out to Uber, I'll expect a full refund. Thank you.

Dear Community, I am sharing my recent experience with a Uber ride that I booked on 27th April [redacted]. I had arranged a trip from Indira Gandhi International Airport T2 to M Block South City-1 Gurgaon, and the driver assigned to me was Mr. Anish. Initially, the fare displayed was Rs. [redacted], but at the end of the journey in South City-1, the driver requested Rs. [redacted] instead. I paid this amount in cash to him. Surprisingly, when I tried to book another ride today, the app indicated an outstanding fare of Rs. [redacted].35 from the previous trip. I am puzzled as I had settled the trip expense with the driver. I kindly seek clarification on this matter promptly. Warm regards, Pankaj Gupta

I would like to report an incident involving Mr. Mcallister who was apprehended by the United States Border Patrol for smuggling two undocumented aliens in Nogales, Arizona. The undocumented aliens confirmed they did not arrange to be picked up by Mr. Mcallister. He will be charged with alien smuggling. Mr. Mcallister drives a [redacted] Dodge Caravan with temporary plates B238280. I believe it's important for UBER to be aware of this situation to ensure their brand is not associated with any illegal activities like smuggling people or contraband.

My Google account has been hacked. I keep purchasing cards, but someone named Joe Job Mayo keeps accessing my account, stealing my money, and tampering with my rides. Despite reporting this multiple times, no action has been taken to stop him. I recently bought a $40 card, but it's missing from my account, and I'm unable to add it. I've tried creating new Uber accounts to no avail. This individual even created a fake app on my phone. I need immediate assistance with this issue to prevent further unauthorized access.

I have two issues with my recent bookings that I need to address. The first one involves a ride I booked from SSKM or PG Hospital to Entally Bani Institute. Despite informing the driver that I needed to be picked up from the specific location due to a patient being unable to travel, he later refused and cited distance as the reason, leading to cancellation fees. The second issue occurred with a ride to the same destination where the driver misunderstood and dropped off at Rippon Street instead. He then claimed the destination showed as Rippon Street on the app, resulting in extra charges. These incidents have caused a lot of inconvenience for my family. I request a refund for the extra charges and urge for improvements in the app and driver services to avoid such misunderstandings in the future.

I am experiencing issues with the app not displaying my ride history or account information. An error message is continuously appearing. I also need to dispute a charge for a ride on April 20th, as I was charged despite my app malfunctioning and being unable to request a ride. It caused me to resort to taking a taxi home. I require a refund for the unauthorized charge and clarification on the app errors. Kindly reach out to me via email associated with my account or call at [redacted]6. - Jennifer H.

I had a frustrating experience with an Uber ride I purchased at the University of Chicago in Illinois. The Uber took longer than expected to arrive, came from a different direction, and the driver had trouble locating me. Despite my attempts to communicate and find him, he hung up on me and then canceled the ride. Uber not only charged me a $5 fee, but also for the ride itself. Although I received the $5 refund after filing a complaint, I am unable to transfer it back to my bank account. I am disappointed with these charges and I hope for a prompt resolution.

Hello, I am Martel McKinstry, an American citizen residing in Marrakech, Morocco. I believe that Uber could establish a successful business in this area. Currently, many local taxis are overcharging foreigners, creating issues for residents and visitors alike. During my family's 5-month stay here, I have observed various schemes employed by these taxi drivers. While not all drivers are problematic, a significant number engage in such behavior. I strongly feel that Uber could thrive in Marrakech by offering locals stable employment opportunities and gaining international recognition among tourists. As the top tourist destination in Morocco, Marrakech consistently attracts a large customer base, offering ample opportunities for Uber to build a strong presence. With my background in marketing and business, I am eager to assist in making Uber a prominent name in Morocco. Best Regards, Martel McKinstry

On April 22, [redacted], I took an Uber ride from [redacted], Sector 4, Gurgaon to Manav Rachna University, Faridabad. The driver, Krishna, charged me Rs. [redacted], which included Rs. [redacted] for the ride fare and the remaining amount for tolls. However, on the Uber app, it showed only Rs. 63 after the trip. As a college student, my college reimburses travel expenses, but due to this fare discrepancy, where my app shows only Rs. 63 instead of the Rs. [redacted] I paid, the college is not reimbursing me. Since my email was not linked to Uber, I didn't receive any email receipt to show to my college for reimbursement. Kindly email me the trip fare details for the ride made on April 22, [redacted], using my number [redacted] so that I can provide it to my college for reimbursement.

As a person with a disability, I rely on transit checks and usually opt for Uber Pool for transportation. The distance between my pickup spot and destination is 6 city blocks. Unfortunately, with Uber Pool, I often have to walk at least 3 blocks to meet the driver, which doesn't suit my needs since my actual ride distance is only around 3 blocks. I have considered selecting UberX instead, but it doesn't accept transit check payment.

I recently had to take a one-day flight to Detroit for a funeral and was listed on standby. Upon returning home to Phoenix, I contacted your service as instructed. Despite not having any baggage, when directed to a location called Ride Share at South door #8 and given the plate number CMF5925, the driver initially denied being my ride. Even though I pointed out the match of the license plate, he did not roll down his window for a conversation. After multiple attempts to communicate, he drove off, leaving me frustrated. I then had to trek back to the airport, locate a power outlet to charge my phone, and complete the Uber process. This unpleasant incident occurred last night, on May 7th.
