Hi, last night I ordered a Uber xl for my family. I was in the last row, of the suv. While getting out, I placed my phone down next to the fold up seat because I’m short to get out. I forgot my phone because I was speaking to the driver trying to get my bags out the trunk. I contact Uber no response from neither the driver or Uber. It wasn’t until I submit a form saying that Uber will pay $** for the driver to find for my phone to get a call from the driver. The driver called my sister to say he found the phone. How much we will pay him to bring it back. He said once he’s finish with a customer he was going to bring it. He was home because I share my location with my mom, sister and nephew. I have screenshots. Here is where things got weird. My phone is unlock. He took it upon his self to go in my phone to call my cousin. When he didn’t like what he was hearing, he called Uber on three way which I have the recording on my sister phone saying he have my phone. He hung up once Uber put him on hold. Isn’t that breaking Uber privacy contract? That was the last time we heard from him. We tracked the phone to every location he went to. He turned my phone off. I suffer from aniexty and seizures which I stated to the driver that’s why I need my phone so my family members can be contacted in case it happened outside. I also stated to him that my credit card info etc is on the phone too. I have a screenshot of his name, license plate, tlc license etc. I have screenshots of the calls he made to my sister & cousin. Now he turned my phone off. If I don’t receive my phone within the next **hrs, I’m going to file a lawsuit with the driver and Uber. Hope to hear from you soon.
