Last night at 7:16 pm, I took an Uber to Family Dollar for some shopping. Upon finishing, I was surprised to see "NO CARS AVAILABLE" on the Uber app when I tried to request a ride home. Panic set in as I realized I was stranded in a not-so-great area at night. Despite trying for 5 minutes, the issue persisted. Thankfully, Lyft came through and got me home, albeit at a higher cost. This experience left me disappointed in Uber and now I feel let down. I believe my friends and family will share the sentiment. It's a lesson learned that sometimes paying more ensures better service.

I am having trouble updating my email address. I have two accounts, one based in India, which I inadvertently used in the USA. Unfortunately, the account has an email address listed as "[redacted]," which I do not recognize. I am unable to update this to receive receipts correctly. I would appreciate any assistance in changing this so I can receive my receipts via email. Thank you, - Ananya

I had a disappointing experience with Uber recently. I requested a ride, but the driver kept changing the pickup time and eventually canceled. I immediately requested another ride and was charged $6.84 for it. However, for the following ride, I was charged $8.06 instead of the expected $3.06 as shown on my receipt. This situation has left me dissatisfied, and I expect a refund for the overcharge. It is unfair to be charged for a ride that was canceled by the driver. I urge Uber to reach out to me promptly to rectify this issue and refund the excess amount to my bank account. If this matter is not resolved, I will have to escalate it further.

I was left stranded as the driver claimed to have arrived when I was actually waiting at the designated spot. Disappointed, I had to miss my appointment and couldn't collect my paycheck, impacting my household budget for the weekend. I had to resort to taking the bus back home. I did not take the ride and request a refund for the service. The driver was unreliable, had language issues, and this experience was the first unsatisfactory one with your company, affecting me and my children's weekend plans significantly. It's concerning as I have never faced such problems before. I am unsure how to provide for us during this time.

I had a frustrating experience with Uber today. I booked a ride at 3:40 pm to catch my 6 pm flight at JFK. However, the Uber driver was directed to make detours and pick up other passengers, even though I was first in the ride. This caused me to arrive at the airport at 5:35, making me miss my flight to San Francisco. I am a frequent traveler, and the journey to JFK usually takes about 40 minutes, so a 2-hour ride was unacceptable. Despite Uber's prediction of a 4:55 arrival time, I missed my flight due to the delay. I am extremely upset as I had an important appointment in San Francisco. I would appreciate hearing from the Uber customer service manager to address this issue.

Dear Manager, I recently took an Uber ride from Adalaj to Satellite in Ahmadabad, Gujarat. I encountered an issue with my credit card not working and was also overcharged by the driver for a waiting period that did not occur. Despite trying to contact you multiple times, I have not received a response. I would appreciate it if you could address this matter promptly. The total charge was [redacted].21, after deducting the promotion and the waiting time charge of 21.89, the correct amount should be [redacted].32, which I am willing to pay. Please contact me to settle this and let me know the payment method you prefer once resolved. Thank you.

Uber driver took my mobile and left without returning it. He turned off his phone and couldn't be reached. When I was traveling to Bangalore Airport on March 8, [redacted], the Uber driver picked me up from Spring Hotel & Spa in Bangalore around 2:30 AM to take me to Bangalore Airport. Upon arrival, as I was unloading my luggage, he drove off with my laptop bag and mobile still inside his car. My name in Uber accounts is Aminol. My registered mobile number is [redacted], and I have another number in the mobile, [redacted]. I am a frequent Uber user, and if incidents like this occur, I will not hesitate to share my experience online.

I made an Uber auto booking today at 5:52 PM with auto details Bajaj RE compact TS 12 UB [redacted], driver named Balu. Unfortunately, the driver switched to Ola auto mid-process, confirmed our ride, picked up other passengers, and left us stranded. I contacted the driver to cancel to avoid charges, but he asked me to cancel instead. As of now, 7:13 PM, the ride is still not canceled. I'm concerned about being charged despite not receiving the service. This is a recurring issue for me, and I seek a viable solution to prevent such incidents from happening in the future. Kindly address this matter promptly. Thank you. Leelanth

I accidentally booked a shared Uber cab instead of a private one. When the shared cab arrived, I realized the mistake, and the driver cancelled the ride. However, I was still charged Rs. 64 for the cancellation. I would like to understand why this charge was incurred and kindly request for a refund so that I can continue using Uber for food orders and cab rides hassle-free.

I used UBER on 9/3/19 from KABI NAZRUL METRO RLY STATION to NORTH DUM DUM MUNICIPALITY HOSPITAL at M B ROAD BIRATI NEAR MAHAJATI N AGAR KOL 51. Unfortunately, the cab went to DUM DUM MUNICIPALITY HOSPITAL at 49 S P MUKHERJEE ROAD, GREEN PARK due to the Uber navigation error. NORTH DUM DUM and DUM DUM are two different places, causing inconvenience and extra expenses for me. This is the second time such an incident has occurred. As a regular Uber customer, I hope this can be resolved promptly to prevent similar issues in the future.

I recently requested an Uber with my two kids. I only had one car seat for my 11-month-old and didn't have one for my two-year-old because it's not a portable car seat. When the driver arrived, she asked about the car seat situation, and when I explained, she said she couldn't take us. I requested her to cancel the ride, but she insisted I cancel because I had placed the order. As a result, I had to pay a $5 cancellation fee and now I'm unsure when I will receive a refund for the rest of my money, including the additional fare. I am disappointed with this experience and would like to be compensated or credited as I no longer intend to use Uber in the future.

While I was crossing the street, an UBER driver backed up without checking and nearly hit me with his car. Fortunately, I managed to move out of the way. When I signaled the driver by tapping on the window, he exited the vehicle and started shouting at me to clear the way, stating that I should have been on the sidewalk. However, I was rightfully crossing the street. The driver's license plate number is Z60 [redacted], and the car is a small Grey/Silver Saturn. I have taken a photo of the plate. Sincerely, Daniel G.

This morning, I requested a cab from home to work, but there was confusion with the pick-up location. The driver went to the drop-off location instead. I couldn't correct the issue through the Uber app. Another driver was then dispatched to an unknown address, and the app incorrectly showed me as on my way. I was charged for a ride that I did not take, which made me late for my appointment. This has happened three times with Uber, and I want to close my account and remove my account details.

In Brazil, Uber primarily offers small and medium cars, all claimed to accommodate four passengers. Opting for Uber Select does not guarantee a larger vehicle. Approximately 90% of Brazilian Ubers feature a sizable fuel tank in the trunk, occupying a significant portion of the space. As a result, situations arise where the car cannot accommodate all passengers' luggage, leading to difficulties especially gathering multiple passengers from airports. Some drivers may refuse rides if they spot numerous bags, as they prefer not to have bags on their seats. A need for clarity arises as small cars or those with limited trunk space due to a gas tank should perhaps not be designated as suitable for four passengers or trips involving luggage. There seems to be a mismatch between the stated capacity and the practical limitations encountered. This reoccurring issue highlights the necessity for Uber Brazil to consider introducing options for larger vehicles or revisiting the descriptions to ensure customers can make informed choices based on actual capacity.

I arranged for an Uber ride in advance from Cocoa Beach to Westgate Resort in Kissimmee, Florida for 6 people, booking an Uber XL for $[redacted]. When the driver arrived in a Toyota Corolla, unable to accommodate all of us, he canceled the trip. We had to rebook another Uber, but the cost had risen to $[redacted]. It feels unjust to be charged more due to circumstances beyond our control. I am requesting to pay the original rate we were quoted when we made the reservation.

I noticed there seems to be confusion between my Subaru Forester and Kia Soul in your records. The information for the Subaru seems to overlap with the Kia, which is evident on both the registration and insurance documents. It's perplexing to see this inconsistency, especially on the insurance paperwork I recently completed for the Subaru on the Uber app. The license plates also got mixed up, with the Forester's plate assigned to the Kia Soul, causing additional issues. I had to retake a photo of the Kia's license plate to highlight the error. I hope this can be rectified swiftly so that I can continue driving with the correct vehicle. It's puzzling how this mix-up occurred, considering both cars are clearly listed on the insurance.

I recently had a guest arrive at my house via Uber. Unfortunately, the driver dropped them off in the alley behind my house instead of the street address. This caused confusion as my guest couldn't access the lockbox for the separate Airbnb unit. After a distressing 30 minutes in the backyard, I arrived home to help her. This incident highlights the importance of accurate GPS navigation and ensuring guests are dropped off at the correct street address for safety reasons, especially at night. It's crucial for drivers to be mindful of this to prevent such occurrences in the future.

During my recent Uber ride, I had my seven-month-old daughter and seven-year-old son with me, along with a backpack and a bag. Upon reaching the destination, I had to make two trips to bring my children inside. After the first trip, I returned to the parking lot only to find the driver had left with my bags in the trunk. Despite pleading and offering some money, the driver insists it's my fault and wants me to come to either Duluth or Uber headquarters to retrieve the remote for his car. I'm a regular rider and just want the remote back, as it was a birthday gift for my son that he really enjoyed.
