Help with my Uber issue
GetHuman-smithiii's next move: find and follow the right step-by-step guide.
Uber doesn't have a customer phone number that is answered by an agent. Instead, GetHuman-smithiii will need to dig through the advice provided by Uber, other customers and consumer advocacy websites like GetHuman. Here are some instructions we've written for similar issues- hopefully GetHuman-smithiii can let us know if they help or not.
The issue in GetHuman-smithiii's own words
I want a refunbd ... Hi,* The Uber Provided GPS app took my driver way out of the way - an absurd route and timing it would have been an extra ** miles and ** mins on the trip if we had followed it - My sign up request for the car showed the correct route - but was not downloaded to the drivers phone correctly.* by the time i intraveened, it still took us and extra ** mins and several miles and only be cause we were lucky.* All routes mentioned involved the PA Turnpike RT ** - man exit of which are fully automated with EZ Pass - the driver did not have an EZ pass and drove right through an unmanned entry gate with no ticket - which lead to a major problem when we exited at the wrong * UBER designed exit. This took more time. When I voiced my displeasure with all of this the drivers reply was " i can let you out right here which was in the middle of the road "* My Am Ex receipt said i had a discount - but there was no on the actual charge - in reality - the charge on my Am Ex card was higher then quotes and there was no discount calculated.* With all of this I would like to request a **% refund for this trip. Not the drivers fault - it is an UBER App for the GPS and she was just following the APP - BUT she should know the road and the proper use of fully automated entry*exit gates that are properly signed - so to some extent she is responsible for that portion of the problems. * I still want a rep to call me ***-***-****.**Plus my UBER history at the website is all wrong - I have had many trips, and all it shops is * in Ft. Lauderdale * * years ago. Today's isn't even in the log yet.**Regards,*Allen
That the GPS guidence provided by UBER to the driver is flawed and took us ** mins. and ** out of a straight line course - only to rejoin RT ** ** lines down the road. BIG WORTHLESS detoure
