On December 19th at 4:18 p.m., I requested an Uber from Bahama Breeze Restaurant to Disney Springs in Orlando, FL with 3 adults and a 3-year-old. Unfortunately, my daughter's boyfriend left her backpack in the car. Despite following the lost item process and agreeing to a return item fee, the driver, Ismael, has not cooperated. After multiple attempts to retrieve the backpack, Ismael claims he left it at an Uber Office but refuses to provide the location or contact information. He even admitted to having the bag but still won't return it. With our flight back to Minnesota on December 26, my daughter urgently needs her ID. Ismael's lack of cooperation has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.

I would like to file a complaint about a canceled trip with a driver named Md, operating a Honda with license plate KWK4336. The trip was requested around 4:15, and despite receiving a message that the driver was 2 minutes away, it actually took an additional 5-7 minutes for the driver to arrive. While I was in my office building, I promptly messaged the driver twice to inform him that I was on my way down. Within a minute of being on the street, the driver canceled the trip, despite the short distance I traveled. Not only was it raining, but the fare for the canceled trip was approximately $5 more, and it seems a cancellation fee was also applied, which I find unjust given the driver's initial delay. This experience has been inconvenient, unprofessional, and costly, and I am seeking a refund for these charges.

Today, I had a disappointing experience with UBER. I was billed over $51 for a trip that should have cost around $20. The driver's lack of direction resulted in a longer and more expensive journey, which I found unacceptable. Despite my attempts to address the issue with him, it was disregarded. Unfortunately, contacting UBER for assistance is a major challenge. The driver's unfamiliarity with the route caused the trip to last over two hours instead of the expected half-hour. Due to this incident and the difficulty in reaching the company for support, I am considering switching to a different transportation service. The fare I was charged was significantly higher due to the driver's incompetence.

I used the Uber app to request a ride. The driver, Gelu, was significantly delayed in arriving, making us wait 12-15 minutes after the app showed he was nearby. Just as he was 1 minute away, Gelu unexpectedly canceled the ride and drove past us without explanation. Despite my attempts to communicate with him, he ignored me and drove off. This behavior was shocking and unprofessional. Gelu drives a white Toyota RAV-4 with NY license plate T647366C. This incident occurred at [redacted] Prince St., New York, NY, on Friday, December 21, around 4:48 p.m. I have a high rating on Uber and have never experienced such treatment. I believe Gelu may be canceling rides last minute to avoid negative feedback, which is unfair to customers. I urge Uber to address this issue promptly. As a loyal customer, I expect better treatment. On Thursday evening, December 20th, I booked an Uber ride from Ft. Lauderdale Int'l Airport to Banyan Air Services, Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport. This is a route I usually take for about $28.00 at the Express rate. However, on December 20th, I was charged $45.00 for the same journey. I inquired with the driver, Daniel, who was driving a Black BMW, but he couldn't provide a reason for the higher fare. A standard airport taxi charges only $39.00 for the exact ride I took with Uber. If I had noticed the fare before confirming my request, I would have opted for the cheaper taxi service. I request an explanation for the significant price increase or a refund of approximately $17.00 to my Visa card.

My partner and I had a scary experience with an Uber driver tonight at 10:15 pm near California St & Broderick St. We were crossing the street with the green pedestrian walk sign when a white Toyota Camry (possibly a Corolla) with California license plate 7JCF238, turning from Broderick St to California St, almost hit us. The driver, an Asian-American woman, seemed unaware that she was speeding through a green crossing. We had to shout to avoid being hit. This careless driving endangers pedestrians and passengers alike. I hope for an investigation and appropriate action to prevent future incidents.

Hello, I am Qurat, an Uber rider. I had a ride with Syed Kashif Raza on vehicle LE-17-[redacted] on Saturday evening. Unfortunately, I left my mobile phone, a Huawei Mate 10 Lite, in the car. I gave it to Kashif Raza for charging and forgot to retrieve it. The ride started at 8:15 from Scheme Morr and ended at PCSIR around 8:45. The driver has turned off my cell phone. I am worried because it contains important data and contacts. I am finding it difficult to reach Uber customer service due to a strike. I appreciate any assistance you can provide. Thank you.

Hello Uber Team, I am having trouble accessing my account with the message "Error - Account is disabled." I am unsure of the reason for this issue. Recently, we had a few challenges with drivers. One driver in Guwahati refused to take us to the airport and advised us to cancel the trip. After rebooking another driver, he did not answer the phone despite multiple calls, so we had to cancel. Finally, the last driver who picked us up requested cash instead of payments through Paytm, which led to the trip being canceled due to time constraints for our flight. On 12/26/18, I scheduled a ride, but unfortunately, Sergio accepted the order and never arrived to pick me up. Despite this, I received multiple trip rating requests from him. I am a regular Uber user and am disappointed by this morning's incident. I do not wish to be charged for a ride that never took place. Yesterday, on December 23rd at 6 am, I had an Uber pick-up scheduled to go to the Tampa airport. Having recently moved to the area, I struggled to use the gate and attempted to call the driver unsuccessfully. After a text exchange about the gate code, the driver abruptly canceled and made offensive remarks. I believe his behavior was unacceptable and concerning for my safety. Despite feeling uneasy, I had no option but to ride with the next Uber driver. I wish to report this driver ([redacted]) and hope appropriate actions are taken. Thank you.

I scheduled an UberX for pickup from Wingate by Wyndham hotel on North Gayton Road on the evening of December 24th, [redacted], at 11 pm. The driver, Mr. Ahmad, took 15 minutes to arrive, then after 2 more minutes, he canceled the trip without prior notice. I was charged $11.25 for a ride I never took. I need the refund promptly. On December 17th, I requested a trip to Nagle Avenue in Van Nuys for $6.49. However, after a 4-minute wait, the driver initiated trips to Fresno twice, costing $[redacted] each time. Despite attempting a third ride to Nagle Avenue, the same issue occurred, with a trip to Fresno being started for $[redacted]. Frustrated, I canceled and used Lyft instead. Uber's error caused me to be unable to use the service due to a supposed outstanding payment. Despite my attempts to contact Uber about the issue, I received unhelpful responses. During this time, my account was wrongfully charged $[redacted].51 for 3 trips to Fresno that I did not request or take. Moreover, the driver falsely claims there was a mess in the car which is untrue. I can provide evidence to support my claim, including photos. On 12/26/[redacted], I requested an Uber ride from Ontario Airport to [redacted] Antonio Circle, Loma Linda. Despite being informed that the car would arrive in about 5 minutes, I waited at the Uber collection location for over 37 minutes. When the driver finally contacted me, he was at the wrong terminal due to incorrect information. My sick spouse and I endured the midnight wait in freezing weather, which was extremely unpleasant. I believe the misinformation may have been due to staff shortage and technical issues. I kindly request a thorough investigation into this incident and appropriate actions be taken to prevent similar occurrences. I noticed a charge of £37.60 on my card yesterday evening for an Uber ride, but I do not have an Uber account and did not take any trips with them on the 27th of December. NatWest's Fraud team informed me about this charge. I kindly request your team to investigate this matter and promptly refund the money.
