Dear Sir*Madam:***I am writing this letter to dispute a charge from a Uber driver. Because I don't speak English, I asked a friend of mine to translate my letter into English. *The event happened at **:** on Nov. *. The car model is Toyota Camry, and the plate is HNE****. The driver charged me $**.** for a trip, which normally costs me $**. The extra charges are due to driver's mistake as explained in details below. I don't think that it is my responsibility to pay the charges. Please let me know whether you need additional information to help your decision on this dispute. ***The following is the detailed information regarding the event. On Nov * at **:** I took a Uber to a destination address ** Pittstown road, Clinton, NJ ***** from my home address *** red school Ln apt G**, phillipsburg,NJ *****. Before we left for destination, I showed the destination address to the driver. It seems that the driver didn't input the destination address correctly into his GPS, he missed the right intersection for a right turn. I told him that it is a wrong route by gesture and showed him the destination address again. The driver typed in the address into GPS again. This time the driver didn't missed the last intersection and took the right route. Before the next intersection, which is very close to my destination, I reminded him to take a right turn using a gesture, I think that he understood but the car speed is too high, and the driver missed the intersection. The driver knew that he missed the intersection, so he made a u-turn. In the route back, I showed him the right intersection by gesture again, but he didn't respond. Instead, the driver drove further and stopped at a gas station and asked the people there for the route to destination address. The guy at the gas station showed the driver the right intersection to the destination, I also showed the gesture that the destination is a jail. But the driver somehow got angry and drove to an opposite direction. On the way, I told him that it is wrong direction, but he ignored me. Finally, I saw a police car on the road, so I cried out loudly, then he stopped. Now the jail visiting time has passed for a long time, so the police asked the driver to send me home. It normally costs me $** from my home to jail, but this time the driver charged me $**.**.***The poor service of the drive let me miss my rare visit opportunity to my daughter at jail. Last time I sent you a dispute letter but the translation is not accurate. So I asked a friend of mine to translate again according to my exact description. The driver shall know the whole event clearly:**. I showed him the destination address twice.**. I showed him the right intersection for turn three times in advance.**. At gas station, the guy there showed him the right intersection, but somehow the driver took the opposite direction. If I hadn't called police, I was not sure where the driver would take me to at the end.**Therefore, I don't think I should pay $**.**.
