I mistakenly downloaded the Uber DRIVER app on my iPhone instead of Uber CAR SERVICE but didn't complete the registration upon realizing the error. After deleting the DRIVER app, it still shows my name (Rosa) and contact email ([redacted]), making it impossible to register with the correct Uber app. Please remove my full name (Rosa Velez) and the email from the DRIVER app, allowing me to use them for the correct Uber CAR SERVICE registration. Kindly notify me at the same email address once this has been done so I can complete the process. Thank you for your assistance, and I apologize for the confusion. Sincerely, Rosa Velez

Uber, Thank you for acknowledging the hard work we put in every day. It's drivers like John who help countless people reach their destinations. Dear Uber, I'm disappointed by the way my situation was handled. I dedicated three years to delivering exceptional service with a high rating, holding a commercial license, and maintaining a clean record. Despite resolving a minor parking ticket issue, my app was deactivated in March. I provided all necessary documentation, yet it was disregarded. Meanwhile, I witness concerning behavior from other drivers on a regular basis. It's disheartening to be dismissed over a resolved matter when more serious issues are prevalent among other drivers. Your automated message feels insincere given the circumstances. I hope for a fair resolution to this unjust treatment. Sincerely, Jack Harte

During my recent Uber ride, I encountered some challenges. The trip that was supposed to take 16 minutes ended up lasting over an hour due to the driver getting lost multiple times. Communication was difficult as the driver seemed to have trouble understanding English and possibly hearing issues. There were moments when my visually impaired daughter and I felt unsafe and even considered exiting the vehicle. The driver made some concerning maneuvers like driving over concrete islands and into construction barricades. We had to use my phone for navigation as his GPS was not effective. Despite his kind demeanor, the overall experience was frightening and far from satisfactory. Although I noticed an overcharge on my fare, I was unable to reach out to anyone for assistance. While the overcharge was eventually resolved, I felt it was important to share my experience to ensure the safety of future passengers.

Subject: Uber Ride Charge Discrepancy Hello Uber Support, I would like to report an issue with a recent Uber ride that was not charged correctly. On 11/15/18 at 10:56 pm, I contacted the driver from [redacted] W 168th St, Bronx, NY. The ride details are as follows: - Type: UberX - Distance: 0.04 mi - Duration: 8 min - Start Location: [redacted] W 136th St, New York, NY - End Location: [redacted] Frederick Douglass Blvd, New York, NY While waiting in the Bronx for the Uber, I had multiple phone calls with the driver. On the last call, the driver asked me to cancel the ride after making me wait for an additional 45 minutes, despite already waiting for 30 minutes. I explicitly confirmed with the driver that I would not be charged before canceling the ride. I kindly request the removal of this charge and assurance that similar issues will not occur in the future. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Best regards, JungHang Lee

I am having a problem with Uber. I had $20.00 in Uber Cash in my account, but when I took a ride, it charged my bank account which had insufficient funds, resulting in a $42.00 overdraft fee. It is confusing why this occurred when I had Uber Cash available. I am hopeful that we can work together to fix this issue as I have been a loyal customer. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you, Mr. H.

Earlier today, I experienced an incident at the MCO Orlando airport in Florida. Everything was going smoothly until a staff member refused to let me access the handicap parking, even though I have the necessary permit. This escalated to involving the police who issued me a no-trespass order for a year without providing any explanation. This has now created challenges for me as an Uber driver, as it's vital to know my customers' destinations. It's disheartening that airport staff and even clients are making it hard for us drivers to conduct our work with integrity. I also witnessed the same employee threatening other drivers with similar actions. It was a distressing situation, to say the least, and I hope for a resolution soon.

I took an Uber home from work last night with the driver Ashraf. The ride cost $6.29 from [redacted] US-17 BUS, Myrtle Beach, SC [redacted], USA to [redacted] 63rd Ave N., Myrtle Beach SC [redacted], USA. When I got in, I noticed his windows were down despite the cold weather. Unfortunately, I was hit with a bad smell as he mentioned someone had recently vomited in his car. Although I kept quiet and moved to the other side, Ashraf later charged me a $[redacted] cleaning fee without proof. I contacted Uber, but they stated they couldn't assist as they had evidence of the incident. Despite requesting further evidence like dashboard camera footage, I received no response. Now, I am considering legal action against both the driver and the company to get a refund.

I took an Uber home from work with a driver named Ashraf last night around *:**. The ride was from **** US-** BUS, Myrtle Beach, SC *****, USA to *** **rd Ave N., Myrtle Beach SC *****, USA. Despite the cold weather, he had his windows down and his car smelled terrible due to someone vomiting inside. I chose to sit on the other side without confronting him. The next morning, I noticed he charged me $*** for clean up without valid reason, claiming there were pictures as evidence. I disputed the charge through the app, but they have not provided sufficient evidence or responded to my inquiries. I am now considering legal action against both the driver and the company to get a refund for this unfair charge.

Last night, I requested an Uber and walked in the rain for 5 minutes to get to my pick-up location. Upon arrival, the car already had passengers, and the driver refused to let me sit in the front seat. One of the girls in the back claimed she was claustrophobic, and the driver allowed her to sit in the front after denying me. Feeling mistreated, I decided to cancel the ride and walked to another spot in the rain for my next Uber. The new driver took a wrong turn, causing further delay. The experience was unacceptable, and I believe I deserve a full refund for both rides due to the inconvenience and poor service I received.

I had booked an Uber ride scheduled for my trip two hours in advance. Unfortunately, the assigned driver, Rakesh Sawant at [redacted], was confirmed only 15 minutes before the journey. Upon contacting him for pickup confirmation, he rudely declined, stating that the pickup point was 13 kilometers away from his current location. Despite questioning why he accepted the trip if he couldn't make it, he replied that he had to unwillingly accept it as part of his job. Threatening to file a complaint, his response was dismissive. As a result, I had to opt for an OLA ride, which arrived promptly within 5 minutes, providing excellent service as usual. Subsequently, I uninstalled the Uber app due to this disappointing first experience. Despite a cancellation fine for the Uber trip, which was due to the driver's unavailability, I find it unjust to be penalized. This incident has led me to make the decision to avoid using Uber in the future and to advise others against using their service due to the unprofessional conduct of drivers like the one I encountered.

I once booked an Uber, opting for the car pool feature to avoid walking in heavy rain. While tracking the driver's location, it wrongly indicated he was at my place. When I went out to meet him, he had unexpectedly turned a corner due to a route change by Uber. Despite my efforts, I couldn't locate him in the rain. I ended up getting soaked searching for the Uber vehicle. The situation was frustrating due to the location's traffic and the downpour. I usually walk but used Uber for a dry ride, yet I got home completely wet. I'm considering trying Uber's competitors for more reliable and customer-friendly service.

Hello, I recently received an email from Uber alerting me to an unauthorized log-in attempt from a device using "Safari," which seemed suspicious as my family only uses iPhones. Ignoring the email led to my Uber account being disabled. Uber's response indicated that my device has been flagged for suspicious activity, preventing access to the app. Despite being a loyal customer with a stellar history, my account remains disabled. I am seeking assistance to resolve this matter, as I am willing to reset my password if it helps reinstate my account. Your help in investigating this issue and restoring my access would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I noticed a $[redacted] charge on my credit card on November 26, [redacted], for an Uber ride I did not take. A few months back, two Uber credits worth $[redacted] each were fraudulently purchased using my Visa card. My bank issued me a new credit card, and I haven't used Uber with this account since. However, after updating my credit card details on November 25, I was unable to use it for a ride, and then I saw the unauthorized $[redacted] charge on my Visa account. Furthermore, I see a $[redacted] Uber credit on my phone app that I did not authorize. It seems like there are ongoing issues with my account. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter. If I don't hear back, my next step will be to contact my bank again. Thank you. - L. Stevenson

Dear Uber team, I am a loyal Uber customer and partner from Islamabad, Pakistan. I feel compelled to convey a pressing issue to Uber officials regarding the current situation with Uber and its competitor Careem in Pakistan. Despite Careem's higher rates, it has surpassed Uber's success due to recent changes at Uber which have deterred drivers and customers alike. Uber's sudden reduction in bonuses and incentives, coupled with fluctuating policies, has caused discontent among drivers leading to a shift towards Careem. Careem offers better guarantees, bonuses, and higher rates, making it more attractive to both drivers and customers. As an Uber partner who has completed [redacted] rides, I have experienced firsthand the impact of these changes. Uber's decision to reduce fares, bonuses, and benefits has led to drivers being less willing to take longer rides, resulting in a decline in service quality. I urge Uber management in Islamabad to consider aligning their policies with Careem to remain competitive and maintain authenticity in the market. The current trajectory may lead to Uber losing its standing in Islamabad. As a driver for both Uber and Careem, I hope my observations will be taken into account for the betterment of Uber's services and sustainability in the region. Regards, [Initials]

I purchased an Uber gift card using cash back from Samsung Pay, totaling $22.42, on November 26 at 06:28 PM. Within three minutes, I used the card for a ride costing $6.18. The next morning, November 27, I took another ride to work for $6.36, leaving me with $9.88 on the gift card. Later that day, I rode home from work for around $7, but was billed $18.23 upon reaching home. I consistently opted for Express Pool, the most budget-friendly option. This resulted in an overcharge of $12 (utilizing all $9.88 remaining on the gift card) and an additional $8.35 charged to my Visa. Despite conversing with three different individuals, they were unable to grasp the simple arithmetic involved.

I encountered an issue with a recent ride cancellation that I believe was not my fault. Upon exiting Bart at Market and Powell in San Francisco, I attempted to request a ride. After being unable to get a pickup there, I then walked to 5th Street and Market. When a driver finally accepted my request, I provided clear directions of my location at 5th and Market across from Nordstrom. However, the driver seemed confused about the pick-up spot, asking me to move to a different location. Despite my efforts to clarify, the driver canceled the ride, claiming he did not know where 5th and Market was. I believe that I should not be charged for this cancellation as the confusion stemmed from the driver's unfamiliarity with the area, not my own mistake.

I would like to address some serious concerns I have regarding false accusations made by your company. I want to clarify that I have never put my passengers in danger or been a reckless driver. Additionally, I have a clean background check as I previously worked for the FBI in Tampa, FL. I believe it is unjust to accuse me of such things. The only possible issue could be low ratings due to dealing with difficult passengers. Despite the challenges, I have always ensured the safety of everyone in my van. I would appreciate a call to discuss this matter as it feels like slander. Regarding your Uber 7x78 service, I believe it is connected to Uber and may be questionable. Let's handle this matter respectfully and professionally.

I used Uber for the first time on Saturday, November 25, [redacted]. The trip was from Tampa International Airport, FL to Holiday, Pasco County, FL at 8:00 a.m. Upon reviewing my bank account, I noticed a $6.00 charge from Uber Technologies Inc. Additionally, the trip description shows $40.66 to Uber Trip Q47SZ, San Francisco, CA. I would appreciate clarification on the $6.00 charge and why the trip is listed as San Francisco instead of Tampa, Florida. I understand that different cities have varying rates, and I want to ensure I was charged correctly for the Tampa area. I am looking forward to your prompt response. Thank you, E.M.

I was charged $[redacted].52 for an Uber ride from Logan Airport in Boston to Peabody, Massachusetts, and I would like to understand why this occurred. My wife, H. Parini, requested the Uber around 1:00 am on Monday, Nov 26. She intended to go from Logan Airport to Terminal A. However, the driver suggested changing the destination to Peabody, but she faced challenges doing so since this was only our third Uber ride. The driver mentioned he could not adjust the destination as per Uber regulations. I am puzzled as to why a ride from Logan Airport to Terminal A cost $[redacted].52 and request assistance to resolve this. My name is R. Parini, you can reach me at [redacted] or via email at [redacted], though I prefer a phone call.
