I scheduled an uber pickup for my sister yesterday at my home and going to the airport. The uber driver came within * mins and picked her up. ** - ** mins later I received a call from my sister saying there was a traffic delay in a bridge and the uber driver tried to detour but didn't know how to. I gave the Uber driver some hints on how to manoveur his way to the airport. But that didn't help either and so I told him to drive back to my home about * mins away and I will show him the route. He did this and I showed him the route and he dropped off my sister. Now when I checked my bank statement I say I was charged almost $** from the $** uber booking I initially place. A bulk of this came from uber time of $**. This was supposed to be a ** min ride and took longer. Why do I have to pay for this? I need to get refunded for this as it was the fault of driver not knowing how to re-route his way to the airport.
