Out of the blue , my phone beeped that an Uber driver was on the way. Yet I had made no reservation . My phone had been in my pocket for maybe an hour. The message I got said my driver would arrive in * minutes. So then I went searching on the app for Cancel Ride . Nothing. I finally had to call the driver and explain I had no idea how this reservation happened. He was a little upset and said I should call Uber. Well, that sent me on another wild goose hunt. There is no phone number, on the app or on line. **And now as I write ypu this message, I receive a bill for $** — for a ride I never requested and for a ride I tried desperately to cancel. **Can you explain how this reservation happened in the first place? Is there something I’m not doing on the app to avoid such automatic bookings? Is there some kind of “off” or”closed” key? **None of this trip and cancellation was part of anything I did. I bear no responsibility and would like to request a refund. **Jerry Long
