Dropped in a bad part of town because driver refused to drop me when pool sent him back into the city

Get home ... I was in a pool on my way home, no problem. The driver gets a pickup request that is all the way back in the city. He gets off the highway at my exit and we are maybe * blocks from my stop, but the map is telling him to go all the way back into the city to pick up this other person. This would have added **-** mins to my trip (the app said ** but let’s be real it’s the city). I have a screenshot on my phone of just how close I was, and just how far back into the city this driver would’ve had to go. I ask him to detour, he says no, so I ask him to drop me at the nearest corner. This happens to be at the entrance to the freeway in a very very unsafe area. I was four block from home, I thought I could walk but turns out I would have had to cross the freeway. So here I am at **pm in a terrible part of town, * blocks (on the other side of the freeway) away from my apartment. I get to the nearest gas station, after being harassed by two prositites, and call another Uber because there is no way I can walk all the way around this neighborhood searching for a way to get under or across the freeway (which I found and it was through a tent city in bay shore, I would have gotten mugged or worse being a woman in a nice dress). I think it is ludicuris that the app was going to make this driver go all the way back to the city when he was so close to my drop off location and that he Uber driver felt such a need, personal or professional, that he was unable to detour a few blocks. Either your app needs to be fixed or your drivers need some rational flexibility. Please let me know if you can rectify this situation. I am a loyal Uber customer and tonight was left in a dangerous situation because of Uber.

There is no customer service number to call, I just want someone to respond to this.
