I arranged for an UberXL from Hollywood International Airport in Florida to Coral Springs, FL. Traveling by myself with my two little ones (5 months and 2 years old) along with luggage and a stroller, I discussed these details with the Uber driver who initially agreed to the trip. However, upon loading our belongings halfway, he mentioned he couldn't proceed due to the lack of a car seat for my 2-year-old. Feeling sweaty, frustrated, and upset, I found myself stranded with two upset children and baggage by the roadside. Luckily, some kind strangers assisted me back into the airport where I waited for two hours for another ride. Although I received a $6 credit for cancellation, I am seeking a refund of $34.24 charged to my card ending in [redacted] or would appreciate an Uber credit for the same amount.

A few weeks ago, Uber introduced a new feature that allows driver partners to set a destination and estimate the time of arrival. I have noticed that the option to set the time at the destination has disappeared from the app. As an airline employee, this feature is essential for me to ensure I arrive at work on time. It was convenient to set the arrival time and coordinate my trips accordingly. However, I am no longer able to do so. I start my job at 5:00 A.M., and I usually start accepting rides as early as 3:00 A.M., when there are limited Uber drivers available. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. Thank you for addressing this matter.

I had a $40 Uber gift card that I added to the app but didn't use. Later, I added a debit card, and after my last ride, the app shows a previous balance of $32.32 with no credit of $40. Then, I added a $[redacted] Uber card to pay for a ride, but the app is not allowing me to use the Uber credit due to the balance showing as $32.32. I can't remove the balance using the Uber credit, and my $40 seems to be gone. With $[redacted] in credit, I'm unable to use the app effectively. I need assistance with this issue promptly as I rely on Uber frequently. My name is S. Hill, and my phone number is [redacted].

On 8/26/18, I arranged an Uber ride from Westlakes Gate Resort to Orlando International Airport. The driver was supposed to pick me up at 4:20 for an early airport trip. The app promised a free ride if the driver didn't arrive by 4:30. The driver only arrived at 4:47 and struggled to locate me at Westgatelakes. Despite his calls, I had to walk to the lobby in the dark because he couldn't find me. He made me wait even though I was in a rush to check in for my flight. Finally, we left 27 minutes late, and he added wait time to the trip, which was unacceptable. This experience was truly terrible, and I have taken Uber rides all over Florida without such issues. It's essential for drivers to be able to find locations accurately. The driver acknowledged his mistake in going to the wrong place. I am requesting a full refund for the trip and an apology as this incident has made me hesitant to use Uber in the future.

My partner and I recently returned from a cruise at Pier 88 in NYC. After being approached by an Uber driver offering a ride to Brooklyn, we agreed upon the regular Uber price displayed as $65 on the app. However, upon arrival, the driver demanded $[redacted], claiming it was for an Uber black ride, never previously mentioned. Feeling deceived and overcharged, we sought a resolution as this was not the agreed amount. We believe we were taken advantage of and would like to request a refund of the $[redacted] difference. Unfortunately, we did not obtain the driver's name but have his license plate, T616871C, and payment was made through the square app. We are prepared to take further action if necessary to rectify this situation, including contacting legal support and disputing the charges with our credit card company. Any guidance on resolving this promptly would be appreciated. Thank you. - S.C.

The food arrived cold and undercooked. Despite providing delivery instructions on the order and trying to communicate with the driver via phone, he left the food in the hallway far from my apartment door. I had to search the hallway to find it, risking contamination. When I contacted the store, they suggested sending another pizza through Uber. However, Uber refused to assist. As I explained the issue to them, they abruptly stopped responding and closed the case.

Earlier this afternoon, during an Uber ride, my keys fell out of my purse in the back seat. They contain my house keys and a car key with a key/fob attached. I have been trying to reach the driver through voice messages and texts on the HELP app for hours with no response. It is urgent that I find these keys as they provide access to my house and vehicles. I have contacted Uber repeatedly, but their lack of communication is frustrating. Despite leaving my contact information with each message, it has been challenging to get a response. After 24 hours and multiple requests, Uber closed my ticket without locating the keys. Surprisingly, the driver contacted me, revealing that she had my keys and had been attempting to reach me through Uber support. We managed to resolve the situation independently, bypassing Uber's ineffective system.

I arranged for a ride for my niece, but after seeing that the driver Emmanuel completed the trip without picking her up, I tried to contact him through the Uber app to confirm her safety. Unfortunately, he did not respond to my texts or calls. Despite the app indicating the ride was completed, my niece never made it home, as confirmed by the school principal. When I tried to report this to Uber, the driver blocked my number. It's concerning that a child's security was compromised due to lack of communication. I will share this experience on social media to shed light on the importance of addressing such issues with Uber's drivers.

I need to dispute two Uber charges from today. The first charge was $6.94 (DCV7JV), where the driver canceled the ride, not me, at the pick-up location in Niles Target. The second charge was $9.00 (QPZAN). I saw the driver at the target, he saw me, and I asked him to wait a few seconds while I grabbed my grocery cart. When I returned, the driver had left without me, despite me being quick. I even asked Target's customer service to watch my cart. Maybe this driver does not want to pick up passengers with groceries. It's unfair to be charged for rides I didn't even take.

On August 13th at 5 A.M., my wife and I took an Uber ride to the hospital for her surgery. The Uber arrived promptly, but it was a truck-style vehicle, making it difficult for my wife, who is short, and for me, as a disabled person, to climb in. Taxis usually have a lower profile, making it easier to enter, and drivers often help with luggage. Despite eventually reaching our destination, the inconvenience was notable, especially considering the urgency of the surgery. I have two questions: 1) Are there specific vehicle qualifications for Uber drivers, such as cars or vans? 2) Can drivers be required to assist riders with luggage, opening doors, and other similar courtesies? I reside in Bloomfield Hills, MI.

Thank you for your email. Our first experience with Uber was excellent, mainly thanks to the quality of the drivers, especially Carlos. However, we noticed that the fee for the journey with Carlos was higher than the minimum quoted, despite there being no delays or unusual driving conditions. Could you please clarify how the pricing works for future reference? Additionally, I seem to remember a discount being offered on our first trip with Uber. Am I mistaken about this? Overall, it was a positive experience, but I would appreciate more clarity on these matters. I look forward to your response. Best regards, Linda

I am currently facing issues paying for my Uber rides with my mother's debit or credit card due to verification requests that I am unable to fulfill since I am in Hawaii and my mom is in Washington state. Despite adding gift cards to my account to avoid this, I am still unable to order a ride without verifying a card. My mother even added me to her family group on Uber, but it still doesn't allow her to pay for my rides. I have unused credits on my account, but I'm unable to use them to order a ride. I would appreciate better customer service and the ability to reach out for assistance when I am unable to access the services I have already paid for.

I have paid for a ride that still appears on my account and my access to Uber has been blocked. I have attempted to resolve this issue for several months without success. I am interested in discussing the potential of using Uber for our business needs at our global company. While I was contacted by Uber Business to set up an account, I prefer to address and resolve the billing problem first. Unfortunately, the representative was unwilling to assist me due to my role as CEO. It seems unreasonable not to address a minor $30 matter when considering the potential for a significant business account like ours. I kindly request that a representative reach out to my Executive Assistant, Desi Bova, to collaborate on resolving this issue. Once resolved, we look forward to opening a business account that could lead to substantial revenue for Uber. Thank you, Rashid Skaf, CEO Biamp Systems - [redacted]

Yesterday, I had my first day giving rides and had a pleasant experience with a passenger named Tim. After dropping him off, I realized I forgot my connecting cables at home. Despite going back for them, I didn't receive any new job requests. I informed customer service who said they would contact me within 24 hours, but I didn't hear back. I'm disappointed about not receiving any work tonight. It makes me wonder if this is due to not informing Uber about my situation or if it's just a slow Wednesday evening in the suburbs. I wanted to express my disappointment and hope for a better weekend working on Friday and Saturday evenings.

I used Uber on Tuesday, 8-28-18, for a round trip to work. The fare for the morning ride was $13.75 and $20.00 for the afternoon ride. Today, 8-30-18, I had a scheduled ride, but Uber notified me that it was canceled due to payment issues. I tried to update my account details, but Uber stated they were already on file. Subsequently, I received conflicting messages about the ride being canceled and my driver's arrival. Upon arrival at work, Uber requested a driver rating, followed by a message indicating the ride cost was $.96. I am confused by these events and would appreciate clarification.

I am extremely frustrated right now. I attempted to order an Uber for a crucial meeting, but I encountered an error message stating that "when using Uber credits you must enter a destination." Despite entering the destination each time, the error persisted. I am a long-time Uber user and am well-versed in the app, making this issue even more perplexing. Unfortunately, this resulted in me missing the important meeting as I could not secure alternative transportation in time. Efforts to resolve the problem independently, such as closing and reopening the app, restarting my phone, and clearing the app's cache, were fruitless. To compound matters, during the half hour of attempting to request a ride, there was a significant spike in fares, escalating from $10 to $17. Given that it was a regular Thursday afternoon at 2:30 pm with no notable events in the city and an ample supply of drivers visible on the map, the surge pricing seemed unjustified. I am upset about this sequence of events, especially as there is no avenue for immediate assistance via chat or phone, and frustrated that the surge pricing inflated the cost when it would have been $10 initially. I would appreciate some form of compensation, be it credits or a promotional offer, to address the impact of Uber's failure on this critical work commitment. I sincerely hope to avoid switching to a competitor like Lyft.

I've been in contact with Uber Tech support since 8/17/18 about a $46.00 unpaid tip on my account dated 8/15/18. Although I paid the tip in cash to driver Suzanne for a $23.68 trip, Uber contacted me on 8/22/18 requesting the $46.00. After explaining the situation multiple times, on 8/23/18, they refunded the $23.68, thinking it was the tip I disputed. But the actual disputed amount remained $46.00, leaving $22.32 unpaid, which I clarified. Unfortunately, I can no longer access my account as Uber seems to have deactivated it instead of solving the issue. I believed this would be an easy resolution, but it has become complicated.

On 8/30/18 at 4:07 I received a text with an Uber code: [redacted], and it asked me to reply STOP if I didn't initiate it. I hesitated but should have replied STOP. On 8/31/18, I got an email that my Uber account details were updated without my consent, prompting me to change my password. The first and last names and phone number on my account are incorrect, but my email ([redacted]) is correct. The wrong information on the account is: Jackiea Hynesb [redacted]. The correct details are Jackie Hynes [redacted]. I'm worried about the credit card linked to this account. I've already sent an email inquiry about this issue and I'm wondering how long it will take to resolve. What should I do next? Thank you. I have a question for you: Are you a human? Jackie

Hello, I rode with K.D. (Kelvin) on August 10, [redacted], at 3:43AM from MGM Las Vegas to [redacted] Hacienda Ave in Las Vegas, CA, arriving at 4:01AM. The fare was $31.10, but I was charged $82.40 for cleaning. I couldn't contact Uber as I didn't book the ride, but I have the name of the person who did and the last 4 digits of the charged card ([redacted]). The "damage" was just water marks on a seat which seem minimal. It's possible a previous rider spilled a drink. Both the ride orderer and the driver confirmed no damage before we left the car. I appreciate any assistance. Thank you.
