I live in Orlando, FL, and my home is in the south part of downtown. I can schedule a pickup from my home, but when I try to schedule by iPhone from my workplace, which is about two miles from my home, I get a message saying something like, "Sorry, you are not in our net area". I've walked three blocks each way from work and still get the same message. How does this work, anyhow? Are the blocks and blocks of residences, businesses and schools not important enough for Uber to service? Do they need to alter their net coverage? What a PAIN!
