I am new to Uber and its AP which I recently downloaded in god faith. I was attempting to get a cost on a future ride from Tuxedo Park, NY to JFK Airport, NY. In dong so, I received a note on the AP that my trip was confirmed ,despite the fact no address had been given and no dates given.. Instead,the confirmed trip was using my location at the time which was on the Long Island Express Way and my current base located in Tuxedo Park. Further, I immediately (within * minute) messaged the designated driver that this was a mistake and to not charge me.I did not receive a response until several minutes later and explained to the driver of the mistake and related issue. He then cancelled the trip. Why am I being charged a cancellation fee? I am requesting a credit to this fee since no trip was coordinated to begin with.
GetHuman-cszumeld did not yet indicate what Uber should do to make this right.
