The issue in GetHuman-kashnow's own words
Trying to get a ride for a court appointment via computer rather than the phone app. ... Couldn't download the app on my phone so I booked a ride via computer. Was advised ride would show within ** minutes but no one showed up. Had to call a different service. Very frustrated with not being able to reach a person for help.
Not being able to reach someone really put me in a bind. I wasn't sure whether to continue to wait or not. I didn't want to be charged for a cancelled p*u. I eventually called another ride service and was late for court.
I would like someone from Uber to contact me. I think the communication issue hurts both the customer and the business, and I would like to discuss this with someone from the company who can do something about it. Also I would like to clarify why my ride didn't come and find out how I can insure that such a thing doesn't happen again.
I'm a senior who just gave up driving and got rid of my car. This was my first experience and a serious disappointment. I will be relying on this type of transportation a great deal from now on and thought Uber would be my first choice but now I don't know.
