I've been attempting to locate the customer service page for Uber without success. On Monday, April 14, [redacted], I utilized Uber at 4:32 a.m. to travel to Hopkins Cleveland Airport and was billed $35.12. I found this charge surprising as I had taken the same trip on March 22 for $18.48. Given the high Uber price, on my return journey to the airport, I opted for a regular Airport Taxi at 12:30 a.m. and the fare was $26.00. I am curious about the significant cost disparity for the trip to the airport. If there is a specific platform where I can address my concern, please provide the details. Kindly share the necessary information via this email address. Thank you. Ana

I disputed a cancellation fee but have not received a response. On 5/15, while standing behind the water tower, I requested a ride at 4:23 pm. I received a text at 4:24 indicating Daniel would arrive in 2 minutes. Another text at 4:25 stated he would arrive soon. Daniel phoned at 4:27, realizing he was on the wrong street. After informing him of my location, I waited, getting colder. A follow-up call at 4:31 asked if I wanted to cancel, but I declined, opting to wait. By 4:35, I received a text stating my driver had canceled, advising me to request a new ride. Cold and frustrated, I took a taxi home, only to later receive an email that charged me a cancellation fee. I was beyond furious at this treatment.

I need help with customer service. During my last Uber ride, I lost my phone and can't use it to log in or contact the driver. The lost item is my own phone, which I need to reset my password. Uber keeps sending me SMS codes for login, which is not helpful because I don't have my phone. Even though they have my email, they don't provide an option for email reset. I'm on my laptop trying to contact the driver but can't due to the SMS codes being sent to my lost phone. I require an email link for password reset to access my account online. Asking me to use the app to contact the driver doesn't work when my phone is missing. Please send the reset link to my email at [redacted]

I was charged a $[redacted] cleaning fee for a ride I took with my partner after a dinner party on May 18th. We did not leave any mess in the driver's car. I am demanding a refund as the driver has no evidence that their car was dirty before, during, or after our ride. The driver mentioned picking up more passengers to support her grandchild during our conversation. She made a disrespectful comment about our relationship, which was hurtful. It appears she might be charging us unfairly due to homophobia. The pictures provided as proof of the mess are not time-stamped and could have been from other passengers. The car seats are shown with what seems to be water/dirt stains, which did not come from us. I request a resolution to this issue and a refund of the fee. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.

If the issue is not addressed, I plan to report Uber to the authorities. I have experienced being left stranded by Uber drivers at least eight times. Despite the circumstances, I had to pay cancellation fees as per your policy. I suspect some drivers are intentionally exploiting this situation by not showing up for pick-ups, leaving vulnerable individuals in precarious situations. This has become increasingly concerning over time. Walking home alone at night, I even encountered a disturbing incident where a random individual followed me. On another occasion, I was left waiting for an Uber that never arrived, yet I still had to pay the cancellation fee. There was also an unsettling experience where someone falsely posed as my Uber driver, knowing my name. When confronted, he abandoned me at a restaurant, leaving me in a vulnerable position. These incidents are extremely unsafe and unethical, exploiting individuals in vulnerable states. If there is no response to address these occurrences, I will be forced to involve the authorities.

Yesterday, May 20, [redacted], I experienced a road rage incident with a man I suspect was a driver for either Lyft or Uber. The unsettling confrontation lasted over 10 minutes on [redacted] N in Chicago. He followed me off my exit and came close to hitting my car. While stopped at a red light, he exited his vehicle, approached me aggressively, and yelled threats before striking my car. I contacted [redacted], leading to him receiving citations for disorderly conduct and breach of peace. The driver's name is Petar B. Yochkolovski, operating a dark silver Nissan with Illinois plates V55 [redacted]. If he is affiliated with your company, his behavior reflects poorly, and I suggest reviewing his employment. Feel free to reach out for more details on this incident. Thank you, Wendy Trongale.

Hello, my name is Reginald J. I believe that I may be facing discrimination due to my past when applying to work with Uber. I am a skilled professional driver with an updated vehicle and a clean history, aside from a couple of misdemeanors. I feel that Uber disqualifying me based solely on this is unjust, especially when other drivers may have poor driving skills. They don't know me personally, my good reputation, or gentle nature. I would appreciate if someone could reach out to me regarding a potential position at Uber. I am seeking a fair interview process where my qualifications and character are considered. Please contact me at [redacted].

Yesterday, my car was hit by an Uber driver named William Tomberlain on Lincoln Drive in Philadelphia. He failed to yield while changing lanes and didn't hear me honking. He provided his Erie Insurance information, but Erie stated that Uber's insurance should cover the incident. Mr. Tomberlain drove a [redacted] BMW with license plate KPS [redacted]. The collision happened around 9:15 AM on Monday, 5/22/18. As an Uber customer, I need assistance to file a claim promptly due to the extensive damage to my vehicle. I couldn't locate a contact number for Uber. Thank you for your help. -Nora Pomerantz

I am experiencing a frustrating issue. I had an account linked to [redacted] Every time I upload my vehicle documents, I receive errors indicating they are not Maryland, Virginia, or Pennsylvania inspection stickers. Despite explaining that I live in Delaware, my vehicle is registered in Delaware, and my insurance is also from Delaware, Uber seems unable to approve my documents. I attempted to register with a new email address, but now Uber is requesting my previous emails and phone numbers. This situation is very disheartening. My girlfriend uses the same documents and vehicle for Uber without any problems. I am tired of receiving automated messages that do not resolve the issue. Thank you, Chester.

I took a trip from Hyderabad Airport to Secunderabad Railway Station on May 21st at 10:00 pm. The driver, Pratap, requested Rs.[redacted] for parking charges, and I ended up paying a total fare of [redacted].95 at the end of the journey. I believe I overpaid by Rs.[redacted]. During the ride, he asked for parking fees, and I had no choice but to pay and received a receipt. However, the total fare at the end did not mention the parking charges being included. It was confusing for me. I urge you to investigate the issue and consider my perspective. Handling customer complaints in this manner is not appropriate. Rs.[redacted] is significant for me, so I hope you will speak with the driver to verify my claim. I trust you will address this matter promptly. Thank you. - Rupa R.

To whom it may concern, I am writing to address some issues I have encountered during my first weekend with Uber on May 18th - 20th. Upon reviewing my account, I discovered four separate charges of $6.00 for cancellation fees. I am quite disappointed to see these charges and would like this matter to be rectified. One ride was canceled due to the driver having difficulty finding the hotel and advising me to cancel if I had concerns. This was the only ride canceled, and I believe I should not have been charged for it considering the circumstances. I kindly request a full refund of $24 to resolve this matter. Sincerely, T. S.

I would like to report an issue regarding my recent Uber ride on April 19, [redacted] from Mayur Vihar Phase 1 Metro Station to G block, Saket, New Delhi where I was charged a double MCD toll tax of Rs. [redacted] within Delhi, which seems to go against government regulations. Despite my attempts to address this with Uber, they have been unresponsive. I have attached a copy of the receipt and a screenshot displaying that I was charged UP Toll for a Delhi ride for verification. Additionally, I want to draw attention to the fact that Uber appears to be deceiving customers with their pricing strategies. They offer ride passes and coupons, but for regular riders like me, there is little to no benefit as prices remain largely unchanged. I am including screenshots to illustrate the price discrepancies based on the use of discounts. @Uber, I am concerned about the decline in your credibility and standards, resembling practices seen with other ride-sharing companies. It is disheartening to see a company prioritizing profits over fair practices.

As a security officer at a guard-gated community, I encounter Uber drivers regularly. When they arrive and simply state they are with UBER without providing further details, it makes it challenging to confirm their purpose. Asking for the passenger's name often leads to vague responses like "Jim, John, or Bob," without a last name or additional clarification. Additionally, when given an address without a specific location or contact person, it becomes a hassle to locate the intended recipient among numerous residences. This lack of information causes delays as I must contact the resident, verify the visitor, and confirm the Uber request, leading to unnecessary congestion at the gate. It is crucial for drivers to provide accurate details to facilitate a smoother entry process for everyone involved.

I encountered several issues with the Uber ride app. The app was installed on the phone number 1-[redacted] on May 21, [redacted], at the Target Store in Alhambra, CA. The clerk mentioned adding a profile, which I found challenging. Despite providing my phone number, first and last names, password, and email address, I faced difficulty logging in today, May 22, [redacted]. The password is deemed incorrect, and there is confusion regarding payment methods. The registration process prompts that it is "almost done," but something seems to be missing. I am unsure how to properly link the app with my profile to seamlessly order a ride.

Hi, This morning, on May 23, [redacted], a driver passed by my drop-off point and continued driving without stopping. I had to request him to stop, which he did in the middle of the road causing a traffic jam. He hurriedly asked me to exit the car as other vehicles were honking. Due to this rush, I forgot my keys in the car, including those to my house and work, a $80 mini Bluetooth headset, and a $30 Bluetooth tracking device. Despite calling the driver multiple times and leaving messages, he has not responded. I have had issues reaching this driver prior to this incident as well. I am unable to access my house without my keys. I am unsure of how to proceed in getting my belongings back. Thank you, Hanna S.

Dear Uber, I am writing to dispute the charge of $30.69 on my credit card following a recent ride. The fare was initially quoted at $17.60, and there was no authorization for a different amount to be charged. The pick-up and drop-off locations were clearly specified from [redacted] Lake Whitney Drive, Windermere, Florida to The Monumental Hotel at [redacted] International Drive, Orlando, Florida. If the driver encountered navigation issues, that should not result in an increased charge for me but rather for the driver to rectify. I believe the unauthorized charge of $30.69 constitutes theft as it was not approved by me. I kindly request a review of this matter for a prompt resolution. Thank you. Irma Nyack

Hello UBER, I have been eagerly waiting for a week now to have my UBER APP fixed and reactivated. After driving with your company for three years, suddenly my app was disabled due to a duplicate account issue. I visited the office where Carlyn assured me the problem was resolved, but unfortunately, my app remained inactive. Returning the next day, I spoke with the manager, Ciara, who was not as helpful as Carlyn. Despite my dedication to providing top-notch customer service, being a retired Delta Airlines Inc. flight attendant, I am unable to work due to this app issue. I kindly request for your team to promptly address and resolve this matter, allowing me to continue doing the job I love with UBER. Thank you for your understanding and assistance. Sincerely, Paticia Madric/Patty

I experienced two issues with Uber during my recent trip to Chicago that require refunds. On two occasions, I was charged for waiting time even though I promptly entered the vehicle without delay. I believe these charges were inaccurate and warrant reimbursement. Additionally, I was wrongly charged for a canceled ride that I had scheduled for a specific time the next morning. The Uber driver did not arrive, leading to the cancellation of the ride, yet I was charged for this. While Uber has credited my account, I prefer a refund of the $5 charge as I am unsure if I will use Uber in the future. - Judith Wood

I dropped off my Avis rental at the airport tonight after a long drive in heavy rain. When I called an Uber, the app showed the driver was close by in the waiting area. Despite the downpour, with my three bags, I trekked to Row A where I was instructed to go. I tried to communicate with the driver to let him know I was at Avis, but he insisted I come to the car waiting area. Due to the language barrier, we struggled to understand each other. Faced with a heavy rainstorm and no shelter, I had to cancel the ride. To my surprise, I was immediately charged $5.50 for the driver's travel time, even though he was stationary in the airport lot and hadn't moved his car. The driver advised me to contact Uber, but when I requested the number, he abruptly ended the call. Struggling to find a way to dispute the charge, I am frustrated by the lack of visible contact information for Uber customer support.
