This morning, I ordered an Uber at the higher rate and sat in the car, but the driver revealed he had a court date and couldn't take me to the airport. The lack of professionalism and him not being offline surprises me. He mentioned he canceled the ride, but I couldn't request another Uber without canceling, resulting in a cancellation charge. This situation is frustrating. I am requesting the charge be removed from my account and a refund for the second Uber with a higher fee due to back-to-back rides. I need to speak with someone promptly.

Hello, my name is Daniel Lester, and I have an issue with my Uber account. I have a balance of $5.60 left in my account, and I have used the email addresses [redacted] or [redacted] I no longer wish to use the app due to high charges. My name is Ike Munn. On May 5, [redacted], at 12:23 am, I took an Uber X ride from [redacted] W Carolina St, Memphis, TN to [redacted] Democrat Rd, Memphis, TN. According to my receipt, the trip was 22.65 miles and took 25 minutes, which is inaccurate. The actual trip distance is 11 miles and the duration was around 12-14 minutes as it mainly consists of interstate driving which I am very familiar with. I kindly request either a full reimbursement for the entire ride due to the inconvenience of disputing this discrepancy or a refund for the part of the ride I did not take. Additionally, I would like a thorough investigation to prevent such errors in the future as the fare was already quite high.

I called for an Uber ride and was informed that the driver was 4 minutes away. My residence is in a gated community, so I decided to wait outside the guard gate to make the pick-up easier. After about 3 minutes, the guard inquired about my presence, and I explained that I was waiting for an Uber. He mentioned that a driver had entered a couple of minutes earlier. I returned to my condo building to find the driver leaving, possibly after canceling the ride. I attempted to flag him down, but he drove past me without stopping. I eventually got another ride, which was satisfactory, but I was still charged for the cancelled trip. I would appreciate a refund for the cancelled pick-up. I applied last year, but didn't finish the process until January this year. I have uploaded all the required documents to Uber but haven't received any updates. I visited the nearest Uber Hub, which was a 2-hour drive, and was asked to re-upload my driver's license. I was told to expect a response in 7-10 days, which was over 3 weeks ago. I am eager to become a driver as a single mom in need of a flexible second job. I am frustrated with the lack of progress despite visiting multiple locations. I accidentally left my phone in an Uber driver's car. When I tried to log into Uber's website for help, I couldn't receive their text message verification. After reaching out via email, Uber contacted me the next day to inform me that the driver has my phone and provided his contact number. I called the driver, and he mentioned he would call back to arrange the return, but he never did. When I tried calling him again, it seems he's set to auto-reject due to a high volume of calls. It's been two days without any contact, and I'm still phoneless since Monday. I urgently need my phone back for various reasons, and the situation is getting worrisome. Despite acknowledging my mistake in leaving the phone, the lack of effort from the driver is frustrating. If I don't hear back soon, I may have to resort to filing a police report. The dilemma continues as Uber's customer support still requires text message verification that I can't access without my phone in the driver's possession.

Good Afternoon, I recommended my mother to sign up for Uber and she was excited to use the "Free First Ride" promotion. Unfortunately, when she tried to schedule a ride for May 11, [redacted], she realized that the code cannot be applied to scheduled rides. She promptly canceled the ride within 5 minutes. I followed the instructions on your website to add the code, but it wouldn't apply. My mother is disappointed and considering switching to Lyft, which offers a similar promotion. During my first Uber ride yesterday, I mistakenly entered the wrong number in my destination address. After the trip, I checked my debit card balance assuming the Uber charges had gone through. With only $6.94 left, I later planned to use Uber to transport a lot of laundry from a friend's house to mine. When I opened the app, I was prompted to rate my driver and saw options to tip: $2, $5, and $8. Not realizing I had already tipped, my finger accidentally selected the $8 tip button. Although the trip showed $8.49 in my account, a popup indicated an outstanding $8 payment. I did not intend to leave an additional tip through the app and did not select any amount. If I have been charged for both the trip and the tip, please stop attempting the tip charge. If the outstanding balance is for the trip, I apologize for the confusion. I have a complaint about my Uber ride last night. Initially a 10-minute ride turned into an almost 30-minute Uber Pool ride, costing me $18 instead of the expected $7. I would like to bring to your attention an incident that occurred on Saturday, May 12, [redacted], around 6 pm. I had arranged for a driver to pick me up from the TAB outside Central West shopping centre. The estimated time was 4-6 minutes, but the driver did not arrive within that timeframe. When I called him, he mentioned he was parked outside Coles, which was not the agreed-upon location. Despite my request for him to come to the TAB due to heavy rain, he seemed confused and disconnected the call. After a few attempts to reach him, he promised to come, but he never did. I braved the rain to check at Coles, yet he was nowhere to be found, and subsequent calls went unanswered. I was charged a $10 fee on my bank statement without a valid reason. I remained patient and courteous throughout the situation. The lack of response from the driver was extremely disappointing, and I believe Uber should handle this issue seriously. If not addressed promptly with accountability and a refund, I will escalate this matter further.

The driver arrived late and did not wait for 5 minutes. I had been checking my phone frequently and have screenshots to prove the timing. When I finally found him behind my home, he yelled that he canceled my ride. Despite being late for a doctor's appointment due to his delay, I still tried to get in the car. However, he asked me to re-request the ride and cancel it first, causing further delay. This resulted in me being charged $5 for canceling. His behavior was rude and unprofessional, shifting the blame to me when he was the one who did not wait and moved to the wrong street. His actions were not customer-friendly, and the whole experience made me lose time and money.

I contacted Uber on 04/12/18 for a ride. The initial charge was $8.30. Later on the same day, when I needed another ride back home, the charge was $15.00. In addition, there were three other charges that I am not sure about. I just went from my house to the store, which is only 3 miles away. The second trip back home cost me $15.05, which seems excessive compared to the initial $8-9 charge. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a phone number to call for assistance, but it's crucial that this is resolved. I have already informed my credit card company about the overcharges. Please urgently contact me to rectify this situation, as I feel I was charged unfairly for a simple round trip.

Please verify the fare accuracy. I attempted to add a stop from Dey St in NYC to Fairfield Inn NYC at [redacted] 33rd Street before heading to JFK Airport. The displayed rate from Dey St to Fairfield Inn was over $20 and to JFK was over $60, totaling around $80-90. Unable to add a stop, with driver Omar's approval, I set the first stop as the destination and then changed to JFK at Fairfield Inn. The total fare seems incorrect. With Uber, rates are agreed upon beforehand, so this discrepancy needs to be addressed. This is not a complaint about Omar; he was an excellent driver who waited while I retrieved my bags at Fairfield Inn.

Upon reviewing the receipt, I noticed an incorrect charge for wait time. The driver parked at the wrong spot which caused unnecessary delay. Despite being in a wheelchair after a medical procedure, the driver did not pull up to the building's entrance, which had a driveway. It was inconvenient when the driver arrived and parked on a busy street corner, making it hard for us to identify him. I called and provided clear directions, but he did not follow them, taking a longer route. Upon reaching my home, the driver stopped by the roadside instead of pulling into the driveway, further inconveniencing me post-procedure. This poor service experience resulted in an overcharge, and I am requesting a refund. The details can be confirmed by the nurse who was present.

I had a really concerning experience with an Uber driver last Saturday. The driver's aggressive behavior towards my wife and me made us feel uncomfortable during the short ride. Yesterday, I took a trip from E. 32nd St., Brooklyn, NY [redacted] to Jai Wolf at [redacted] Lincoln Pl., Brooklyn, NY [redacted]. The original shared pool price was $5.23, but due to a lost item in the driver's vehicle, I was charged an additional $15 fee. The driver insisted on an extra $15 in cash since he claimed he didn't receive the electronic payment. In total, I paid $20.23. I'm requesting a refund of the $15 in cash as I believe this situation shouldn't have happened. I've never had issues with Uber before, and I hope to have the cash returned to me promptly. Hello, I am reaching out for assistance regarding an Uber ride I took on 11/8/17. The fare was initially quoted at $68 but I was charged $[redacted].42 by Uber. Following a message exchange with Uber support, they credited me $40, though I had preferred a different resolution. When attempting to dispute the charge with AMEX for $[redacted], Uber did not respond, and AMEX paid them $72.42, the amount I acknowledged. To book a new ride, I had to use my Visa card as Uber did not accept AMEX. Uber then transferred the entire $[redacted].42 charge to my Visa, despite the $72.42 payment.
