On the evening of March 21, [redacted], my Uber driver dropped me off [redacted] meters short of my destination, exposing me to a dangerous situation of navigating heavy traffic on foot. Despite acknowledging the error, Uber is unwilling to adjust the fare to reflect the incomplete trip. I urge them to reconsider as they readily charge extra for minimal deviations in route. I have been attempting to address this issue since the incident occurred but have not received adequate assistance. The driver refused to take me the full distance, citing time constraints, which led to a series of wrong turns and my unsafe disembarkation. I kindly request a fair review of the fare considering the service shortfall. As a loyal customer for the past two years, I trust that Uber will address this matter promptly and justly. Sarita J.

I am a Uber driver and have encountered issues trying to update my information online. Despite visiting the Portland office multiple times, the problem remains unresolved. I suspect the issue may be related to updates for my new website and email address. I recently visited the Uber office to submit new registration information for my car, providing pictures and details, believing the matter was settled. However, my attempt to update my email from [redacted] to [redacted] was unsuccessful, and the new registration details were not updated either. The continuous need to visit the office is inconvenient and costly. I have made efforts to address this online but without success. Your assistance in resolving these issues promptly would be greatly appreciated. - Janice H.

I accidentally left my iPhone in my fiancé's Uber driver's car yesterday. I contacted the driver, but he mentioned it was too late for him to return it. I explained my situation, but he refused. He finally agreed to drop it off at my location today. However, my fiancé had to alter plans to receive it. I am frustrated and disappointed by the lack of commitment. Currently, I am relying on Facebook Messenger to keep updated on the return of my phone. I request urgent resolution to this issue. Thank you.

I am unsure why my account was disabled. The last action on my Uber account was connecting to my company's corporate account. I recently received confirmation emails for trips taken almost 2 weeks ago, paid via PayPal with payment confirmations. I requested reactivation last week, was informed someone would contact me, but no one did. I requested again tonight and was told my account is permanently disabled. I reviewed the terms of service and believe I did not breach any policies. I have been an Uber user since early [redacted], maintaining a good standing. I use Uber and UberEats frequently and hope to continue using your services. Any clarification on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

During my ride on the evening of March 21, [redacted], the driver took a wrong turn, leading me in the opposite direction of my destination. This resulted in being dropped off [redacted] meters away from where I intended to go. I am requesting a review of my fare to account for the inconvenience and distress caused. Walking through a busy traffic junction without a pedestrian walkway aggravated my existing health conditions, including a lumbar disc and cataract problem. The driver's error deprived me of the promised convenient doorstep drop service, especially since I had booked a GO vehicle for this purpose. I am seeking compensation for the distressing ordeal. Can someone guide me on how to escalate this issue to the appropriate Uber authority for a fair resolution? - S.J.

I had a ride scheduled for 8:40 am today, and I entered my Uber driver's car at 8:42 am exactly. While I was in the car, the driver cancelled my ride. His name is Brian, and he drives a Toyota Camry. He mentioned that Uber drivers wait one minute before cancelling, while Uber's policy is two minutes. He then tried to take me to the police station and asked me to leave the car. This experience was humiliating and degrading. In light of recent events, the African American community is particularly cautious about interactions with the police. I missed class because of this incident. I believe the Uber driver should be fired to prevent others from going through similar situations. This behavior is unacceptable.

I am Arshad Mehmood from Islamabad, Pakistan. Yesterday, on May 5, [redacted], I took a ride from British Homes to PAEC Hospital in Islamabad. The driver, whose phone number is 0[redacted], was unreliable. I paid him [redacted] rupees for a trip that cost [redacted] rupees. He didn't have change and suggested keeping the excess as credit for my next ride, which I accepted. Today, I rode with another driver whose number is 0[redacted]. When I mentioned the credit from the previous ride, he claimed there was no credit. I contacted the first driver, and he lied to me and the second driver. He avoided my calls. My family and I are frequent customers of your company, Uber. I urge you to block his account as he is untrustworthy and may cause trouble to others. Thank you for your attention. Please respond. My contact number is 0[redacted]. Regards, Arshad Mehmood. My email is [redacted]

On the morning of Monday, April 30th, I took a ride from home to the airport. The driver refused to follow my preferred route and threatened to cancel the ride if I insisted on it, choosing a longer route in terms of both time and distance. He drove recklessly, cutting in front of other vehicles as we approached freeway exits and entries. Numerous drivers honked or flashed their lights at him at least 10 times due to his behavior. When I expressed concern about his driving, mentioning that I used to be a professional race driver, his response was defensive rather than apologetic. Curiously, there have been several UBER charges on my now-canceled VISA credit card. It's unclear if there is any correlation between the incidents. - Mac Busby

My husband recently used Uber for one ride, but his Debit Visa card has been unexpectedly charged multiple times since then, totaling over $[redacted]. These additional charges have caused significant financial strain as we are on a tight budget and now struggle to pay our electricity bill. I, his wife, am awaiting disability assistance which has been further complicated by this situation caused by Uber. We have heard of other riders experiencing similar overcharges on their Debit Visa cards. Reimbursement is urgently needed for medical expenses and appointments. The cardholder is Louis T Tortolani, with a card valid through 2/20, account number [redacted], and security code [redacted]. Quick resolution is crucial as we have family commitments, including visiting our son in the Military. We are facing a financial crisis and need these funds back promptly. Your prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you for understanding our situation. Kerry Tortolani

During my last two Uber rides, I faced significant discrepancies between the estimated fare shown in the app and the actual amount charged. This morning, for instance, I was quoted around $13 for the ride to church, but my final receipt totaled approximately $19. Similar situations occurred in previous rides, depleting my Uber budget. As a retired senior on a fixed income, these surprises impact my transportation choices. Despite enjoying the driver's service, the misleading fare information left me unable to budget properly. I even ended up tipping more than I would have if I had known the accurate fare. Moving forward, I plan to jot down initial app estimates to compare with actual charges. Additionally, I've observed drivers booking multiple rides simultaneously, causing delays. Living near Seattle Center with ample driver presence, I prefer a direct pick-up to avoid such wait times. This double-booking practice undermines my reliance on Uber for punctuality.

This is now my third attempt to address this issue, and each time I receive the same unhelpful response. The email I originally used to register as a driver with UBER, [redacted], is no longer active. I am Cindy Sheets from Delaware. After switching to Spectrum, Roadrunner terminated my previous email. My new email is [redacted] Due to this change, I am currently unable to access my UBER account. When someone loses access to their primary email, should they no longer drive with UBER? Why isn't there a customer service number available for direct assistance? Cindy S. [redacted] West William Street Delaware, OH [redacted]

Upon my arrival at Newark Airport in New Jersey on April 5, [redacted], I sought a cab as I was unfamiliar with the airport and state. Planning to use my Uber app, I was approached by a driver displaying an Uber sticker who offered me a ride. After confirming his Uber affiliation and viewing his credentials, I decided to ride with him. He discouraged using the app and opted to set up payment on his phone, citing a more accurate map. Upon arrival, he manually entered the fare from my Uber app and processed the payment using a card swiper. Despite feeling uneasy, I complied to ensure my safety. Subsequently, I discovered that soliciting passengers from the airport is illegal in New Jersey, and the driver overcharged me, even tipping himself 20%. Regrettably, my bank refuses to dispute the charges without evidence of the scam. I have been trying to resolve this for a month. While unsure of what assistance Uber can provide, I am hopeful they may help in this situation. Thank you.

I recently moved to a small town in Texas and signed up with Uber through the app. I bought a gift card and tried to request a ride, but my account was deactivated. After emailing to reactivate my account, I was informed that I had violated the terms of service and could not get my account back. I don't understand what I did wrong as I couldn't even use the service. I had $25 on the account, and I would like a refund as I feel it's unfair to lose that money without an explanation. I can be reached at [redacted].

I was charged a trip cancellation fee for a ride I did not request. I used Uber to travel to a meeting at a restaurant on [redacted] Boylston St in Boston. During the meeting, my phone was in my pocket and I later discovered the Uber app had mistakenly ordered a ride from [redacted] Dartmouth St to [redacted] Clarendon St. I never went to [redacted] Dartmouth St and was not familiar with [redacted] Clarendon St. The distance between them is only 0.3 miles, which could easily be walked. I had no intention of ordering the ride. Additionally, the app automatically rated the previous driver 2 stars, but I wanted to update it to a 5-star rating to reflect the excellent service he provided. Thank you.

Hello, I have been experiencing trouble with the maps on the Uber app when using the Express service. It doesn't accurately guide me to the driver's location, leading to multiple cancellations and extra charges. The lack of proper navigation has placed me in unsafe situations. It seems like Uber might be pushing me towards more expensive services like Pool, as the Express service's quality is lacking. Thank you, Eduardo

I used an Uber from Addison, Illinois, to Midway Airport on May 7th. The driver, Jason, was driving a Honda Civic. He handled my 2 bags and I had my tote with me. Upon arrival at the airport, he unloaded my bags, and we went our separate ways. Unfortunately, I left my tote, containing my Kindle, in his car. As I am unable to retrieve it personally from Texas, I would appreciate it if the tote could be delivered to Connie Bos at 4N365 9th Ave, Addison. I encountered issues with my credit, so Eric K., the Manager of Schamburg Airport, helped with my reservation. He can be reached at [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance. Dorothy Taylor.

I reside at [redacted] West 256th Street in Lomita, California [redacted]. When I request Uber rides to my home, drivers are directed to a nonexistent address "[redacted] 256th Street West." This confusion has caused issues with friends and family being dropped off over a mile away, including an incident where my young nieces were left at the curb in an unfamiliar area. The same problem arises when I request Uber rides from my home. Just yesterday at 5:40 pm, a driver struggled to find my location, leading to a delay in my ride. Despite my attempts to guide the driver with text messages, the ride timed out, and I had to drive myself. I urgently need assistance to remove the fictitious address "[redacted] 256th Street West" from Uber's system as it does not exist and is situated in the middle of a soccer field.

I reside at [redacted] West 256th Street in Lomita, CA [redacted]. Uber drivers are being directed to an incorrect address labeled "[redacted] 256th Street West," which does not exist. This has caused confusion and inconvenience for myself, friends, and family members who have been dropped off at a location far from my home, sometimes even in unexpected areas of town. Even my young nieces were left a considerable distance away despite informing the driver of the mistake. The same problem occurs when I request Uber rides from home. Just yesterday at 5:40 pm, a driver struggled to find the correct address, leading to delays and a canceled ride. I attempted to provide directions via text, but the situation was not resolved, and I had to drive myself, resulting in my late arrival. I am seeking assistance in removing the incorrect address "[redacted] 256th Street West" from the Uber system, as it does not correspond to any valid location and is located in the middle of a soccer field.

I took an Uber Pool ride on May 10, [redacted], from IGATE junction to Food Corner in Ramamurthy Nagar, which is an 11km journey. Due to the pooling system, there were two additional pickups and drop-offs after mine. Unfortunately, heavy rain caused severe traffic near Ayyappa Nagar and the underpass, significantly adding to the travel time. Despite the original estimate of 1 hour to reach my destination, it took close to 1.5 hours to reach near KR Puram Vegetable Market, about 5km away from my stop. During booking, the fare displayed for one seat in the pool was 119rs, but upon trip completion, I was charged 331rs without any surge pricing. I kindly request a refund of the excess amount charged. Thank you.

Hello, I'm Rajendra Kumar, a former Army Officer. I used Uber cabs regularly and paid in cash before. Lately, every time I try to book a Uber cab, they mention an outstanding balance despite already settling it twice immediately. Upon payment, the next booking still shows an unpaid amount. This ongoing issue has persisted for three years since my accident. It seems there may be dishonest individuals at the Uber office in Hyderabad. I'm now opting for Ola cabs due to these inconsistencies. I would appreciate clarification on the pending amounts with corresponding dates.
