Today at *.** am I ordered an Uber X and was quoted for a Ford Galaxy and a fare of just over £**. For some reason the car was then switched to a VW Sharan and I was charged over £**- an increase of over £**. Similarly on * April at **.** I requested an XL and was quoted a fare of c. £** but was then charged £**.**. These are m***ive increases on the quoted fares and are totally unacceptable. I use Uber all over the world and am very unhappy at these unbelievable fare hikes compared with the estimated prices. On another topic, I reported several months ago that I have stopped receiving email receipts for my trips and was ***ured these would be reinstated but I'm still not getting them.
