My package was shipped to the wrong country. I mailed a package from a USPS office in Silver Spring, Maryland on ********** to my brother in Co. Cork in Ireland. The package was sent Priority Mail Express International. I was surprised when I received tracking notification last Monday (**********) notifying me that the package had reached a processing center in the UK. *When I checked back with the post office where I mailed the package, I discovered the the USPS employee who received my package had entered the incorrect destination address in the USPS computer system. She had changed Co. Cork, Ireland (the correct address written on the shipping label) to Coventry, Great Britain and Northern Ireland (also known as the UK). **Note that Ireland is a different country from Great Britain and Northern Ireland. *As a result of this USPS clerical error, my package is now sitting in a processing center in the UK (the wrong country). **The tracking number for the package is *EZ*********US **I would like my package to be redirected to the correct address or returned to me in the US and the full cost of postage refunded. **If that's not possible, I would like a full refund of postage and to make an insurance claim to cover the cost of the package contents, which I estimate to be at least $***.
