Hello, **I am reaching out regarding the very poor customer service received online and in person. For days, my online corporate account has not allowed me to print out labels so I've been forced to go into the post office to print my labels for several shipments. When I went to the local post office (**** S Ashland) I was told that they do not print shipping labels and that I was required to write them on each box. This is not professional as a business to ship out boxes with handwritten labels. Printing labels is something that should be completed at the local post office. **I desperately needed to have my items shipped and specifically one box (tracking number EE*********US) needed to be delivered by Friday at any time. I was told to guarantee the shipment I needed to do Express Mail. I asked to be told the weight of the box so that I could make the decision if I wanted to go through USPS or use another shipping agent. Agent ** refused to provide the weight of the box. Because of this, I was forced to ship the box resulting in a fee of $***.**. After the shipment was made, Agent ** told me the weight of the shipment was ** lbs and I quickly compared rates. The rate was $** more that Fedex. I was also never asked how much my items were worth which was over $***.**I believe that due to the account not allowing me to print my own labels is a huge inconvenience in addition to the lie that was told to me at the post office that the labels could not be printed when they could have. In addition, the refusal to weigh my box caused me to spend more money that could have been prevented. I am so disappointed in all fronts on USPS because I chose to use you all as my only printing vendor for my business Chicago French Press. To be lied to, treated poorly and not be able to conduct regular business with your online platform is a huge inconvenience and I am looking to be credited for my wasted time and inconvenience. **I appreciate the assistance from a Supervisor.
