Is it possible to switch from a Non-Immigrant visa to an Immigrant visa while in the United States? I have been attempting to immigrate to the United States from Nigeria, but unfortunately, due to financial constraints and not having any relatives or a US citizen fiancé, this has proven to be challenging. My inquiry now is, if I enter the US with a Non-Immigrant visa, is it feasible for me to apply to change my status to an Immigrant visa, or what other options do I have available while residing in the US?

Dear Sir/Madam, I am reaching out regarding the confirmation you provided for me to bring my daughter into the USA without a visa due to her age (under 2 years old) and subsequently obtaining her green card. I would like to inquire about the timeline after entry into the USA for receiving her green card. Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Best Regards, Ehsan Khaghani

Good afternoon, my name is R. from Guyana, South America. My sister filed a petition for my family, and me she is from New York, and it takes about 14 years. My wife and I operate a grocery shop that we own. We have a 9-year-old daughter. In my country, the crime rate is very high with lots of killings of businessmen and women. You can search Kaieteur News Guyana for more details on the crimes. I am seeking assistance, not financial. Are there any options for us to migrate legally to the U.S. while our papers are processing? Can you help me get an open work permit or any other way to migrate? The crime situation is too much for us, and we are desperate for a better life. We are willing to sell everything and bring all our assets to start anew in the U.S. Please consider helping us for the sake of our daughter's future. Thank you.

My wife and stepdaughter received their Conditional Green Cards on July 2, [redacted], expiring on July 2, [redacted]. I plan to send my stepdaughter to college in Thailand as she just graduated from high school in Colorado. She needs to leave in November [redacted] to begin the registration process and start her first year of school. This would require her to be out of the U.S. for over a year, causing her card to expire while she's at school and when filing Form I-[redacted] for both my wife and stepdaughter. I've spoken with a USCIS representative by phone, but I'm uncertain about the correct procedure to follow to avoid risking my stepdaughter's U.S. residency status. Can someone please advise us on the proper steps to take? Name: Manassanan Last Name: P. Date of Birth: June 29, [redacted] USCIS Number: [redacted] Category: CR2 Thank you, Mr. Byron S. In March [redacted], I returned to Iraq while holding a Green Card for the United States. Sadly, I had to leave the U.S. due to my mother's illness. She suffers from multiple sclerosis, which has severely affected her ability to walk. I have been caring for her, taking her to the hospital daily, in search of the right treatment to help her walk again. Despite our efforts, she now requires a shot every other day to manage her pain. As the only son present in Iraq, I've been her primary caregiver for the past two years, staying with family for support. Due to my past work with the U.S. Army, I am fearful of returning to my hometown where I may face risks. My mother now needs brain surgery, and my brother, an Iraqi army officer, is sacrificing to fund her treatment in India by selling his car and wife's gold. I have all necessary medical documentation. I kindly seek assistance to return to the United States for a safer and secure life. I have a ticket already to facilitate my journey back. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I would like my application to be reviewed. I attended a K1 Visa interview on June 18, [redacted]. The immigration officer doubted the authenticity of my relationship with my fiance without allowing me to present supporting documents. How can a relationship not be genuine when I went through the loss of a pregnancy due to an ectopic pregnancy? I am still dealing with medical bills from surgery at St. Mary's Hospital in Chicago. I have WhatsApp chats since [redacted], call records, proof of being in the United States with my fiance, and hospital medical reports. The officer indicated my case is being sent back to USCIS and canceled my B1/B2 Visa. This situation feels unjust, especially after my recent health struggles. I am desperate to be with my fiance and request a fair review of my case. I am willing to provide any additional information required.

Hello, I am looking for information regarding my boyfriend's asylum case. He has been in the Virgin Islands for over two years, awaiting his asylum interview. During this time, he received approval for a work permit and his social security. He has been working, paying taxes, has a bank account, and pays rent. I am reaching out because my older brother in Colorado is getting married, and we would like my boyfriend to attend. However, he believes he cannot travel within the US due to his immigration status. Is there any paperwork he can file to allow him to travel within the US? Can he use his driver's license and work permit for travel?

As a naturalized citizen, I had to provide my naturalization certificate to apply for an Enhanced Driver's License. Unfortunately, the DMV sent it to USCIS for verification, and after 3 months, I was told they couldn't process my application due to citizenship verification issues. They recommended contacting USCIS for further assistance. I tried reaching out to USCIS, but I just got the runaround, which was incredibly frustrating. I believe the problem might be a clerical error since my naturalization document has my maiden name, not my current married name. I'm struggling to find someone at USCIS who can assist me. Any advice on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to inform you that Brayan Rendon Moncada is currently in Bergen County Jail after assaulting my daughter, leading to severe injuries. As a professional boxer, his attack caused my daughter to suffer a collapsed lung and multiple fractured ribs. Despite facing 2nd-degree assault charges, the case was settled with a minimal sentence and a strong recommendation for anger management therapy, although the judge expressed concern about potential future violent behavior. Given that he is an illegal immigrant with outstanding child support payments and no visitation rights, I urge you to take action to deport him for the safety of my family. Enclosed you will find all relevant information on Brayan. Please ensure that he is removed from our society to prevent any further harm. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Linda George

Subject: Urgent Request to Revoke Support I recently contacted USCIS and am formally requesting to revoke my sponsorship for Brayan Rendon Moncada's immigration application. Unfortunately, he has caused severe harm to my daughter, leading to hospitalization due to physical abuse. Brayan's violent actions, which were witnessed by his own son, Tristan, have resulted in a restraining order against him. Despite being a professional boxer with a history of assault and current legal charges, he poses a significant threat to my family. My name is Linda George, and I stand firm in my decision to withdraw any support for Brayan's citizenship. I urge USCIS to consider the danger he presents and take appropriate action. For any further inquiries, please leave a message at the provided contact numbers. Thank you for prompt attention to this matter. Sincerely, Linda George

Why should thousands of illegal immigrants be granted immigration status when there are countless Americans struggling on the streets without adequate government support? It is concerning to see the disparity in assistance provided to those in need within our own country compared to resources directed towards illegal immigrants. The idea of constructing tens of thousands of housing units for immigrants while neglecting our own citizens is indeed a complex and frustrating issue. There are devastations like African children dying from hunger daily, highlighting a stark contrast in priorities. The significant sums of money migrants pay to coyotes contrast with the poverty seen elsewhere in the world, raising valid concerns. While the frustration is understandable, advocating for violent actions is not the solution to this complicated problem.

I, A.H. Bangura (Alien number A-[redacted]7), submitted Form I-[redacted] and later was asked by USCIS to submit Form I-[redacted]. I recently received an email stating my denial without specifying the reasons. I realized I failed to provide explanations for some "yes" answers in Part 4 of Form I-[redacted], sections 2.a, 2.b, 8.a, 12.a, 12.f, and 22.b. Upon review, I now have explanations for each. I seek clarification on the denial reasons and guidance on how to proceed. Thank you.

Hello, I am Miracle Ebere Innocent, born on 03/07/[redacted], residing at [redacted] N Pine Island Road, Building 3, Apt [redacted], Sunrise FL [redacted]. My Alien number is A[redacted]48. I applied for my papers in May [redacted]. This is the second time I received the interview letter after the scheduled date had passed. The initial letter arrived in April for an interview scheduled in March. After contacting USCIS, we rescheduled with their approval, expecting a new interview date by mail within 60 to 90 days. However, upon inquiry last week, USCIS had not sent anything, only for me to receive notice today that my interview was on 27th August. I am puzzled by why we keep receiving mail after the interview date has passed, considering we ensured the address correctness. Can we visit an office to reschedule? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Miracle Ebere Innocent

I am currently feeling very lonely and depressed after separating from my husband. I am doing my best to educate my children and raise them as good citizens who respect others, but it's been challenging. I have a strong desire to move to the US to provide a better future for my kids. I deeply miss my parents and siblings who are already in the US, and I find myself crying every night. These words are coming straight from my heart, and I would appreciate any help or support.

I am curious as to why the processing times for petitions in Lincoln, Nebraska are significantly longer compared to other service centers. The delays have stretched to several months, causing distress for those waiting to reunite with their loved ones. It feels unfair that while other centers are moving through applications swiftly, Nebraska is falling behind. Additionally, hearing about cases being transferred to Nebraska from other faster service centers is perplexing, given the existing backlog in Nebraska.

My OPT was approved on August 15th. I received my SSN, but my EAD has not arrived as of the first week of October. Despite numerous calls to request expedited service, my card has not been produced. I paid $[redacted] for this essential authorization and have been unable to seek employment during my 90 days of unemployment while waiting for the card. This situation is both frustrating and unfair. I urgently request that my card be produced and promptly mailed to me, as per my repeated requests.
