My ex-wife, who is Scottish, married a man with dual US and UK nationality last year. She wants to move to California with our 13-year-old daughter, a move I disagree with. We have been in litigation since May [redacted]. I believe I-[redacted] applications were filed for my daughter and ex-wife in November [redacted]. The National Visa Center in London will soon contact her husband for financial documents before an interview is scheduled. I would like to know what financial documents will be needed, such as three years of tax returns and proof of income above [redacted]% of the national minimum. Will my ex-wife and daughter be considered dependents of her new husband? If approved, can my ex-wife work immediately in the US? As we are involved in a child relocation case, can I halt their visa application until the court resolves our case? We have a three-day Proof Trial scheduled for early October, our third trip to court for a total of nine days. Thank you, William Kerr 4 Arthur Gardens Airdrie ML6 7RN

I submitted an application for my son's green card. As a permanent resident in the U.S., I ensured his paperwork was updated during our time in the Philippines, including the medical exam at our new address in August. Surprisingly, the green card took longer than expected to arrive. Unfortunately, I recently discovered it was mistakenly sent to our old address, returned to the embassy, and eventually destroyed in April. Now, I'm being asked to reapply for his green card, but I'm frustrated about having to pay over $[redacted] again. It's unclear why they used the old address when they had the updated one on file. The USCIS has been involved, and my son's visa case number is MNL[redacted]01 for Willinaldo Sy. Additionally, his personal number for the re-entry permit is A[redacted]33.

Hello, my name is Sahra Osman, a legal resident in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I am reaching out because I am concerned about my father. He is unwell and currently residing in Mogadishu, Somalia, a place known for its lack of safety and inadequate healthcare facilities. My mother resides with us and works tirelessly to provide for her nine children, but her own health is failing. With no family here in the United States, I am desperate to bring my father here for better medical treatment. If this could become a reality, it would bring immense joy to our family. I am unsure where to start this process, but we are willing to do whatever it takes, including raising funds. Thank you.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding Receipt EAC[redacted] - Arnold A. Lewis. The notification was mailed to Maria's Pleasure Wakenaam, Essequibo, Guyana. At that time, Arnold was abroad in Barbados and did not receive it. The individual residing at the address stored it unknowingly in a drawer, mistaking its significance. I kindly request to reschedule Arnold's permanent residence appointment for the United States. Additionally, my other son with receipt EAC[redacted] wishes to withdraw his application for permanent residence, opting instead for a visitor visa to the United States. We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your assistance in these adjustments. Thank you, Juliet E. Lewis - Petitioner

I have a pending immigration case since June 9, [redacted]. We have been experiencing issues with mail delivery, missing the request for evidence multiple times. We were informed by phone about the case closure and the 30-day deadline to respond. However, there seems to be confusion as we were notified late, not realizing the deadline had passed. The details of the requested evidence or the reasons for denial remain unknown. Despite reaching out to USCIS through various means, we have yet to receive any correspondence. We updated our address and provided an email in hopes of receiving the necessary information for an appeal or next steps on our case. I am seeking assistance from a higher authority to address this urgent matter. Thank you.

It requests contacting the USCIS immigration office using the email address [redacted] along with a specific immigrant serial code and personal information. There are promises of assistance from the department of foreign affairs. I want to confirm if this is the correct procedure for an employment application and if the email address [redacted] is legitimate. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inquire about the status of my EAD application, which was submitted under case number EAC[redacted] on June 22nd. It has now been more than 90 days, and I understand there may be delays due to increased processing times and a high workload. I kindly request for my case to be expedited or to be looked into promptly. I have enrolled in a master's program set to begin in August [redacted], and it is crucial for me to secure employment to support my education financially. I have deferred my enrollment to the Spring [redacted] semester, and I have a job offer with a deadline of October 15th. The prospective employer is willing to hire me by October 10th. It is essential for me to receive approval to continue my studies and accept the job offer, as the process for obtaining the card and social security number will take an additional 15 days. I sincerely hope for a positive resolution that will enable me to pursue my education and accept the job offer. I am willing to provide any additional documents if necessary. Your swift consideration of my case is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding. Reshma

My USCIS number is [redacted]23. I possess a valid green card and Social Security Card. Yet, during my recent attempt to renew my Idaho driver's license, I encountered difficulty as the system could not confirm my identity. Upon visiting the Social Security Card office, they found that my full correct name was preceded by "unknown" in the system, which led to them issuing me a new SSC. However, they mentioned that my green card information was similarly affected, and they were unable to correct it. Despite obtaining the reissued SSC, my identity verification issue persisted when I tried renewing my license. I'm in urgent need of my license as it expired on October 1st this year. How can I resolve this matter promptly? Best regards, Jayne Marie B.

Regarding the previous communication about extending Maria Elena Merida Guerrero's Tourist Visa (Form I-[redacted]), I am seeking confirmation from USCIS in Lewisville, Texas about the acceptance of the application. Our original departure date is set for October 21, [redacted]. The initial request was for 3-4 months, but there was a miscommunication at Houston Airport resulting in a 30-day allowance. We sent the Form I-[redacted] and a $[redacted] Cashier's Check from J.P. Morgan Chase Bank via certified mail. We have not received any updates from the Lewisville, Texas office. Kindly contact us at [redacted] with the status of the application for confirmation.

I would like to address an issue regarding my visa denial. In late June of [redacted], my father submitted the visa petition form I-[redacted] (application control number: SRC[redacted]) on my behalf back in [redacted]. Unfortunately, the petition was denied in November of the same year due to his passing during the process. Subsequently, I applied for a student visa to have a chance to study in the US, but it was not successful. I am now looking to reapply. My request to the USCIS is to enable me to pursue my studies in the US and return home upon completion. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. My late father's name is Olatunji Okeowo Mayas, a US citizen. A.M.

I hold an approved B1/B2 visa expiring in January [redacted], and I started a two-year fellowship at Emory University Hospital in July [redacted]. I am a pediatric surgeon from Ankara, Turkey. I am seeking guidance on whether I can extend my stay using the I-[redacted] form. If possible, kindly advise where to send the completed form or if it is better to visit an office in Atlanta or schedule an appointment with a representative. Although my visa is valid until [redacted], I prefer not to incur the cost of a plane ticket by returning to Turkey briefly. I am personally financing my fellowship with no US employer sponsor. My intention is to prolong my stay until October [redacted], when I plan to briefly visit Turkey. Appreciate any assistance provided. Dr. Sule Y.

As a U.S. citizen who has resided outside the country for 5 years, I am seeking to obtain citizenship for my children through their grandmother, who meets the residency requirements in the U.S. I have researched how to acquire citizenship through grandparents and found no mention of the children needing to be outside the USA. However, I have been informed that because my children are already residing in the States, this may not be a valid option. My kids are under 18, currently living in the U.S. under the legal custody of a U.S. citizen parent, and entered the country legally with an I-94 stamp in their passports. Can I apply for their Certificate of Citizenship using their grandmother as a qualifying relative even though they are presently in the U.S.?

We (C.P. Daumont, applicant/petitioner and M.D. Amato Daumont, beneficiary and U.S. citizen spouse) received a Rejection Notice for Cyril's I-[redacted] Application for Employment Authorization for two reasons. Cyril's A number is A[redacted]01 and the Receipt Number is MSC[redacted]. We filled an outdated form but are in the process of correcting it. The Rejection Notice mentions an incorrect payment amount, but we believe there might be an exception since we are concurrently filing form I-[redacted]. Could you clarify if we are exempt from payment as per the instructions on page 23 of Form I-[redacted]? We are also unsure how to answer the question "Have you previously filed Form I-[redacted]?" on page 2 of the new form, given that the previous application was rejected. Your guidance on this matter would be appreciated.

Hello, I am Aishwarya Madbal Gowda. I recently applied for an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) by submitting Form I-[redacted] and the necessary documents to the Phoenix Center. I received a text message with receipt number #YSC[redacted] and later a mail with the same number on October 17, [redacted]. It has been 37 days since I have been trying to check my case status, but I keep receiving a "Validation Error" message stating that my case status does not recognize the receipt number. I have been unable to get past this error despite multiple attempts. If anyone has experienced a similar issue or has any advice, please assist me. Thank you.

My mother has recently been diagnosed with cancer, and I need to go back to my home country to be with her. I am currently in the process of transferring my H1B visa from employer A to employer B. Although I have a valid work visa with employer A, the transfer to employer B is pending due to receiving an RFE. I am faced with the dilemma of whether I can travel internationally while this process is ongoing. My current work visa with employer A has not been stamped. If I manage to get it stamped and my transfer to employer B is approved, will I be able to enter with a valid stamped visa from employer A and the approved visa transfer to employer B? I am uncertain about taking up employment with employer B as I am content with my current job with employer A. Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated during this challenging period for my family.

Hello, I'm Douglas Simfukwe. I recently made the difficult decision to surrender my conditional green card due to issues with my wife lying about me and our son. Consequently, I returned to Zambia, my home country. Although my wife has apologized and filed a petition for me, I fear the process may be lengthy. I am facing great danger due to persecution, having been targeted for my past involvement as a youth activist. These threats have escalated to physical violence, resulting in a serious assault that left me hospitalized for two weeks. I fear for both my life and that of my son, as threats against us, including to burn our house, persist. Given the circumstances, I am seeking asylum in the USA, but I am unsure of the steps to take. My safety is at risk, and I am living in fear, constantly hiding to protect myself.

I, Leo Young, am in need of help to retrieve my children's (Shaquile Kaheel Young and Tajera Ajanick Young) SSNs and Green Cards. They were mailed to 76 Sorrento Street, Providence, RI [redacted], but have been withheld by Merlyn Jarrett against my wishes. Despite my efforts to obtain the documents, she refuses to give them to me. I contacted USCIS and was advised to report the situation to the Providence RI police, which I did on 12/02/18. Surprisingly, Sergeant Joseph Hanley mentioned that the SSNs and Green Cards belong to Merlyn Jarrett because she filed for our migration to the USA from Jamaica on 11/21/16. I also emailed usicsfraudtip on 12/04/18 but have not received any assistance yet. I provided the details of Father: Leo Astley Valentine Young, D.O.B. 02/13/70 USCIS #[redacted]-[redacted]-[redacted], Daughter: Tajera Ajanick Young, D.O.B. 12/12/08, and Son: Shaquile Kaheel Young, D.O.B. 10/25/01 for your investigation. Your help in obtaining these important documents is crucial as I am unable to enroll my son in school without his ID and birth certificate, and my daughter was taken out of the USA without my consent and left in Jamaica in August [redacted] by Merlyn Jarrett. I suspect fraudulent use of my children's SSNs, please investigate. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Z. L. My receipt number is MSC[redacted]. I work as a sushi franchisee contractor at Nellis Air Force Base, where I am required to renew my military gate pass annually based on my work permit's expiration date, which is December 25, [redacted]. I have not yet received my renewed pass and although I presented my I-797C to the authorities, they require the physical card. Upon contacting USCIS, they mentioned an expedite process that I wasn't familiar with initially. After discussing it with my company, they confirmed my eligibility for expedited processing since my absence would result in them losing their sushi chef at a busy store. Seeking assistance to facilitate the renewal and ensure I can continue working on the base beyond December 25 under the automatic [redacted]-day extension rule.

Hello, I am Alice M. Ramones. My receipt number for the Removal of Conditional Residency is EAC[redacted]. Unfortunately, my husband sent incomplete payment last November, resulting in a rejection notice asking for the correct payment. However, amidst our marital issues, he refuses to provide me with the necessary documents to resubmit to USCIS. Despite my repeated requests, he is uncooperative and even suggested I return to my home country. I discovered he received the rejection notice weeks ago without informing me. I urgently need guidance on how to proceed with my status adjustment even if my husband withholds the documents. Can I obtain copies of the papers sent to us for reference? Your assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
