Tracking Number: *Z**X**A************On ** September ****, UPS 'apparently' attempted to deliver a parcel to my home address. Although I was at home ALL DAY on that date, no such parcel was handed over to me. Instead, on going out to put something in the communal rubbish bin at a later time, I found a card on the bottom landing in my block of flats. The card advised me that as I had not been at home (although I had been), that I could now pick up the parcel from an UPS Access Point. **To get to my flat, your courier would have entered the front door where he would have been confronted with a board detailing all the flats (of which there are only *) and showing the name of each tenant along with a push button for same. My surname, Ogilvie, is clearly marked on that board and had your courier pushed the button appropriate to my name, I would have instantly heard it within my home. I would have then buzzed him in and he could easily have descended to the first floor. However, it appears that he did not do that i.e. he either did not press my buzzer, but another flat's buzzer, and they let him him or he slipped in whilst somebody was leaving the property. And instead of climbing * set of stairs he chose to take the easy route out and left a card at on the ground floor of the flats. Disgraceful.**As to the UPS Access Point at which the parcel was then left. Well, this in not local to my address. In fact it is in the city centre and can only be reached from my flat either by car (and I do not drive) or by public transport i.e. bus. However, due to my health problems and the current COVID-** situation, my GP has advised me not to use any public transport.**Therefore, I duly telephoned your customer service and ended speaking to two individuals. Although these individuals spoke English, I am afraid I virtually could not make out anything they were saying. I am am also fairly sure that my own Scottish accent was not helping them in any way either. So much so, I had to get yet another one of their colleagues to speak with me. It was then finally rearranged for the parcel to be delivered to my home address again on * October **** (i.e. as I type - today).**However, I have looked at the tracking for this parcel today and it 'appears' to be suggesting that the second attempt to deliver this parcel has already taken place and has been completed. See details below (pasted directly from your tracking site):**Deliver to Original Address Completed************ **:****Edinburgh, United Kingdom***So, where is this parcel? I would contact the retailer who is sending me this parcel to advise them of the position. However, as I am currently awaiting for a few parcels to arrive I do not know which retailer is sending this parcel with UPS. Can you advise me please.
GetHuman-chuckog did not yet indicate what UPS (UK) should do to make this right.
