I received a mail from UMR that has a column that states that “Provider may bill you”. But in the Note Section it states that “provider negotiated discount. You are not responsible for this amount. This is a high defuctable plan.” I am just confused, if I need to pay the total amount or not. *I also called my Providers office and asked if I have any unpaid services * days before i received the Mail from UMR. They told me I have none. *If I need to pay the total amount. Do I have to pay it directly from UMR or can I just go to my provider’s office and present what the mail that I received from UMR? Because it states here that I might pay *** dollars, while my doctor’s office told me I have no unpaid services.
