Look Beautiful for my son's wedding ... Reference *******-****** I made * appointments for formal updo's for my son's wedding and * out of the * of us walked out of your salon like we just left a beauty school. If your stylist are not capable of such styles then you should not advertise or charge as such. Where to begin. For one it took me so long to respond because every time I think about this I come to tears. This special day was completely ruined by this episode. Let me start by saying I lost every bit of confidence when my stylist started combing my waist length very curly hair. You don't comb curly hair unless it is wet and has conditioner in it! She spent over ** minutes trying to comb my hair I asked her several times to please wash it but she continued to comb through it wasting time! One other thing that really made me extremely uncomfortable is the rest of your Ulta staff had nothing better to do than hang around staring at myself and my sisters like we were a side show!!! After about a half an hour this young lady asked me is it always this hard to comb through your hair!! I stated for about the * th time that I would like it washed she seemed extremely put off by this request and I could tell she had absolutely no idea what to do with my hair she kept leaving me to talk with someone ( who I later found out on a phone conversation that it was the manager who by the way never came over to assist this young lady who had no idea what she was doing. Finally she washed my hair and blew it dry. She asked me what I wanted and I stated an up do one that you are comfortable with she just stood there and started using a curling iron on my hair which did not even leave a curl pattern. She kept asking what I wanted I said a bridal up do!!! Finally I said ok how about a half up and half down. This girl puts this weak looking braid on one half of my head the left side !!! And left the rest just hanging!!!! I was soooooo!!!!! angry I wanted to scream!!! but this was a very special day and I was not going to lay into these people in front of this whole store. One of my sister's has thin hair and her scalp shows if not styled correctly she asked her stylist to please not use a small curling iron and do not make tight curls. What did she get small curling iron and tight curls and her scalp was showing! My * sister wanted a braid unlike me. And again a very weak braid was placed and before she left the store pieces were falling out of the braid. The only one that actually turned out nice was the last sister she got exactly what she asked for and it stayed all night. I was so upset that I bought a curling iron and hairspray before I left because now I had to do my hair and help my sisters fix there hair . You turned a magical day into a night mare. I did not have one picture taken with my son and his bride. This is a day the mother of the bride and all of her sisters should have looked beautiful and we did not. One other thing I would like to mention. I am a manger of a very large Hospital Chain and I know customer service. When I spoke to your salon manager she only stood up for this stylist with minimal skills . She made it all my fault she had no sympathy for how I felt when I left your salon. Your managers need some customer service skills!!! Instead of trying to make me happy she asked in the most snotty voice WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO!!!!! That's when I ended the conversation stating that I am a diamond member and I spend alot of money at your stores and so do my sisters. I will never go back to your stores . She just hung up. The four of us have not stepped into one of your stores since this experience . *My sister made the first contact with you because I was so extremely upset. Remember the customer is always right they are your bread and butter. You need to teach your managers that.
They have zero customer service.
